Was driving on highway at 74 mph when the vehicles loss of air warning light came on. Five seconds later, I heard a pop which caused me to lose slight control of suv. Managed to pull safely over to the right side of highway where I managed to put on the spare tire. Luckily there was no other car to our right when the tire blew if not we would have hit another car and the incident could have been m

235/50/R20. Found driver side rear tire completely flat in personal garage yesterday morning and passenger front tire had low psi warning on as well. Used the fix-a-flat kit that came with my car to fill driver rear and able to get to shop. Car/tires have 5000 miles on them. Tire shop could not find anything wrong with the driver rear tire but stated a puncture was found in passenger front tire
... well and did patch that. I see this has been reported before on a Toyota Bz4x same year and same tire with mileage the same as well. I am concerned this could be an issue going forward and am scared to drive this car now any distance especially since there is no spare and I have to purchase a replacement cylinder for the fix-flat.Read more

On October 23 2023 I purchased from Firestone where I have been a customer for some 30 years paying nearly $1000 for 4 tires. 1) On January 6, 2024 the first tire on the front driver"s side had picked up a nail GEICO road hadzard came and removed the tire. Firestone said they could not repair the tire and replaced it with another SureDrive new tire and charged me $55 plus dollars to replace. 2)
... On March 14, 2024 the 2nd tire on the rear passenger side picked up another nail GEICO came again and removed the tire that one was patched for free. 3) Then on May 2, 2024 the front passenger side with a slash and could not be repaired so it was replaced with a new tire and charges me some $25. 4) Then on July 24, 2024 the rear driver side and that tire had picked up a nail and by then I had started carrying an air pump in case of a flat and I would not have to wait for Roadside Service. So that time I left the nail in the tire and covered it with heavy piece of duct tape. Then attached the pump and aired it up and drove to the nearest Firestone where they patched that tire. Now I have four tires on my car with patches. Even the on new tire that replaced the slashed tired soon picked up a nail and had to be patched. I bought the tires because I had Michelin tires on my vehicle for which Firestone said during a Auto-Care complete check special for $9.99, that my tires were 12 years old and was dry rotted and dangerous to keep driving on. Being that I am a senior and ride alone most times I took their advice and bought a set of 4 new tires. I have asked the landlord to check their security cameras to rule out vandalism and I asked if others had suffered unusual tire flats. The answer was none. I live in a very clean and cared for apartment. Therefore it must be the tires. Maybe they were used instead of new. Perhaps you can help. Because now I feel more unsafe than before I bought the new tires. I am just worn out getting tire flats repaired.Read more

... t could not recommend a solution. The vehicle was driven back to Louisville, KY (home location) and taken to a Tire Discounters the following morning. At Tire Discounters, a technician drove the vehicle and experienced the same behavior, but could not provide a solution. Numerous trips to multiple Hyundai dealership service departments and tire service centers (Big-O-Tires and Tire Discounters) resulted in no solutions. After extensive research, a potential solution was identified by the vehicle owner relating to the noise-isolating foam located on the inside wall of the tires. There are numerous reviews on Michelin's website documenting this specific issue with the tires. A call to Michelin costumer service successfully concluded with a warranty claims number. However, none of the previously mentioned tire service locations would investigate because the vehicle only had 6,400 miles and the Hyundai dealership service departments refused to address the problem. Ultimately, Pep Boys accepted the Michelin warranty claim and found that three of four tires (Michelin Primacy 235/55R19 101H) that came as part of the original vehicle purchase had the internal isolation foam disconnect from the tire belt and gather in a central location inside the tire. There has been no evidence of notices or information from Michelin to dealerships or service departments regarding this issue and the potential for dangerous driving conditions or damage. The LT 225/ 75R 16 rear driver and passenger tires started shredding on my 2020 Winnebago Travato at around 12,000 miles. First the rear driver side one and then about 300 miles later the rear passenger. I drove only on well paved roads, mostly highway, and kept it under a RV carport in my garage when not in use
