One month into ownership of my 2024 Palisade Limited AWD, I was approaching a stop light going ~20 mph and started to apply the brakes as I passed over some slightly bumpy ground. The car lurched forward repeatedly as the brakes were applied, bouncing forward in spurts rather than stopping and taking twice as long to stop than it should have; I was one foot from rear-ending the car in front of me
... despite beginning to break with plenty of time to stop - this is so far from how an ABS system is supposed to work and I've never experienced it in another car. Hyundai corporate has told me that, upon testing other Palisades, they have discovered that this happens in ALL 2024 Palisades. This is troubling for several reasons: 1) The car exhibited an inability to effectively brake in a very common situation (braking when traveling at low speeds on slightly bumpy ground). Several people have noted this experience in Reddit posts; 2) I have been driving for 25 years; I’ve driven other cars with antilock brake systems and have never been in a wreck. This is unlike any experience I’ve ever had in a car and it’s very abnormal / incredibly dangerous; 3) When asked to recreate the issue at the dealership, the head mechanic rode with me and said, “The car shouldn’t do that,” when it occurred with him the car. It was clear that he found it to be very concerning behavior. Hyundai kept the car in the shop for 2 days shy of a month. At the beginning of the month, they apparently did not know that the 2024 Palisade behaved this way. Over the course of the month, they learned that this is how a Palisade behaves when driven over uneven ground at moderate to low speeds because they tried it with other cars they had on hand. This vehicle is prone to rear-end cars in front of it when stopping and also to bouncing out in the middle of an intersection when approaching a stoplight /stop sign. It will kill people of unaddressed. There are no messages / warning lights on in the car.Read more

We are victims of frame failure. First sign was a creaky floor in the bedroom. Screws worked their way out of the wood flooring and pushed up underneath the linoleum. We reseated screws, upgraded screws, resealed this at least 5 times and now use gorilla tape to avoid water intrusion. The u

It locks but the locks will not hold it closed when the rig starts to flex. We now gorilla tape the door every time we travel to avoid objects flying out of our bay into traffic. The partition between the wet bay and the storage bay has bent. Our front driver side jack is not straight, it points outward. There is rubbing of the shelving and trim in the bedroom. The board that has the slide rollers under the main bed has failed. We have pinched decals on the exterior of the nose cap. The pin box sinks up into nose cap when hitched up. We have a toy hauler however we do not haul any vehicles or toys in our rig. We have had to replace both back leaf springs due to them failing. The main lighting panel has been damaged in transit so that the exterior accent lights will no longer turn off. This is an electrical hazard as well as an annoyance to anyone that camps near us. The roof seal that attaches the roof membrane to the front cap is elevated and not flush. When traveling from TX to Indiana for our frame failure appointment, the roof membrane completely shredded and fell back over the air conditioner. We had to gorilla tape the remaining roof to make it the rest of the way. Grand Design is not issuing a recall yet. Our rig is dangerous for us and anyone on the road with us. Our rig is in the shop right now and we have the highest hopes that it is properly fixed, and we do not have to return like so many others are.Read more

A week ago I took the bike to the Dealer where they replaced the Fuel Pump on a Recall, they confirmed the shocks were gone. Cost of the 2 Shocks WITHOUT Labor is over $5000 when you add labor it will be over $8000 which renders the Motorcycle TOTALED. I called BMW HQ and they REFUSED to replace or do anything about this. I own other much older BMW Motorcycles & They ALL have the ORIGINAL Shocks except this K1600 GT bike which has these CHEAP shocks which makes the bike DANGEROUS to ride and to steer. It also destroys Tires which are very expensive on this bike. BMW needs to pay for or REPLACE the Shocks and Tires on this bike and to make sure the steering mechanism is NOT damaged on this bike because of these Shocks. BMW claims this is a "Wear and Tear" item. This is their TOP of the LINE Motorcycle that cost $28,000 when new. Front and Rear shocks should NOT wear out so quickly and so often on these bikes as have been DOCUMENTED by so many owners. This bike has been Garaged for over 2 years because of the Shocks as it is not really Safe to ride. BMW SHOULD be MADE to pay for these Repairs and Replacements. The Date listed below is the Date when the local BMW dealer did the Fuel Pump Recall and confirmed that the shocks are DEAD. And BMW Headquarters REFUSED to fix/Replace the shocks, I called them on that date. All info above is submitted under Oath and the Penalty of Perjury per the Laws of the State Of California. Thank you.Read more
