I was informed by a Nissan dealership over 3 years ago that both inner tie rods on my 2017 Nissan Rogue have play in them. The vehicle had less then 30,000 miles on it and was never in an accident nor was it ever driven off roads. They told me it would cost over $2,000.00 to make the repair because the tie rods were part of the power steering rack. In other words to replace the inner tie rods t
... hey had to replace the power steering rack as well. The vehicle was manufactured in Korea. I complained that this failure in the tie rods had to be a manufacturing defect but Nissan refused to cover the repair because my three year new car warranty expired. I just recently read that the NHTSA in August 5th of 2024 began an investigation on this matter with the 2021 model year Nissan Rogue SUV. I believe this matter is just not for the 2021 model year but at least model year 2017.Read more

i HAVE A SERVICE SUSPENSION LIGHT THAT CONTINUES TO POP UP ON DASHBOARD THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IS THE BRAKE LIGHTS. The trailer hitch mounting brackets failed (metal sheered) where the hitch mounts to the frame. It attaches at 2 points, and both points malfunctioned. Purchased 2023 Tesla Model 3 Performance in January 2024. On [XXX] at approximately 2 pm, I got a flat tire drivers side front on a remote highway outside of Reno Nv. At that time, I found out that I didn't have a spare tire or jack supplied by Tesla. I called Tesla Roadside Service and was told before they would send out assistance, I had to agree to purchase a new tire at 540.00 per tire, the to
... wing company couldn't be to my location till after 6pm. I declined Tesla service. The Tesla had less than 18000 miles on it. My son came and assisted me in removing the flat and we took it to Les Schwab Tire center where I purchased a new tire for 375.00 dollars. Les Schwab stated that the wear on the tire was caused by alignment. I contacted Tesla made a service appointment for alignment for August 26, 2024. I got another flat on the drivers rear on [XXX], which cost 283.00 from Les Schwab with the same disposition as caused by alignment. I took the car in the next morning and had the remaining two tires changed as it was no longer safe to drive 766.00 cost, and alignment was to blame mileage was documented by Les Schwab at 18792. When I went for the service at Tesla, I was told they do not warranty tire or alignment and when I told them that I would let small claims decide if that the tire wear was excessive and caused by improper alignment, they threw me out of the dealership and have refused to work on my car. The main reason for filing the complaint is none of this was disclosed when I purchased the car, every car I have ever bought has come with a spare tire, jack, and tools needed to change it. There are no other tire repair shops that can do Tesla alignments, Tesla offers no warranty on their tires and Les Schwab stated even their lowest cost tires come with a 20k mile warranty. Tesla is price gouging for tires 540.00 each and alignment 275.00. Any of the Tesla forums state that this is happening thru all models and tire sizes to most owners. Our 2021 Grand Design 395ms has FRAME FAILURE. The upper body of the frame has multiple broken welds and has separated during road use. This issue was iniitally repaired in thermopolis by a mobile welder. This initial repair failed
... and we had to contact the manufacturer. They initially told us it would be a couple months before their SRT team could repair. After multiple days we were connected with another mobile repair man from Montana Mobile Repair (Shawn) who stated "This is the worst frame repair he has had to make". After many hours he added extra bracing and support. Grand Design stated we needed to get it home. Approx. 1700 miles back to Michigan and we would need to setup an appointment for service repair. We are concerned with the fact that they are requiring owners to drive such defective units so far and putting the owners and others in harms way. We had no choice but to make the drive. We were denied any other forms of help such as flying the family home or paying for the extended stay until SRT arrived on site for the repair. Our final communication says once we arrive in Michigan to contact Grand Design and they will send someone to pick up our rig and transport it Grand Design.Read more

There is an ongoing problem with the NIVOMAT self-leveling shocks on every model year of this vehicle. The problem occurs at nearly every speed but is more noticeable at lower speeds (35mph or less) while going over uneven terrain or hitting small bumps. The vehicle produces a clunking noise from the rear of the vehicle and there is no cushioning or rebounding from going over the bump or uneven te
... rrain. Instead, there is more of a jolting knock when hitting small bumps and a constant bouncing around/floating feeling while driving over uneven terrain. This is dangerous because passengers and cargo in the vehicle gets bounced around and the vehicle gets harder to control especially at higher speeds. Many of these shocks are failing early in the life of the vehicle. Mine is at 27K miles, however I believe the problem started before and probably closer to 18-20K miles. Kia knows about this issue but has failed to come up with a reliable solution. This is four model years now with the same issue. Kia has released TSB after TSB on this, only replacing certain parts of the shock (isolators, etc.). However, there are still reports of replacement parts and even new full shock assemblies failing around the same amount of milage. It would be great if a wider recall can be issued to address this ongoing problem that seems to affect every model year so hopefully Kia can find a more reliable, quality part to replace the consistently failing part.Read more

A warning message appeared the following day after purchasing the car. The car stopped functioning while driving on the highway 70+ mph. The car started to shake violently and a-lot of alarms went off. I barely managed to pull over on the side of the interstate. I waited for 10 minutes before I could get the car to start again. I only had the car for 3 days. This problem persisted so I exchan

This message popped up multiple times before the car stopped functioning properly. “You can continue driving. Chasis function restricted. If the problem recurs, have it checked by your service center”. I did not feel safe in the vehicle especially with children in the car. I informed the dealership and sent them a picture of this warning and was told no one had heard of this warning. I was not able to take more pictures since I was on the interstate with heavy traffic. To avoid causing an accident, I was able to pull over safely by using my hazard ⚠️ light signal. Again, this car is NOT safe and now my kids and I have PTSD whenever we hear a warning signal on any car. I feel my safety and that of my children were put at risk by the manufacturer and dealer because they sold me the car even though there was a recall and no X7 were being sold due to this.
