We purchased the coach fall 2022. First major trip was in summer 2023. The main slide out failed (stopped working halfway out and would not extend or retract) the second night of camping. There was not a local repair facility available. A mobile repair person was able to get the slide out retracted. He informed us there was only one screw holding the main slide out frame in place. We wrapped a rat
... chet strap around the coach to hold the slide out in so we could at least continue our trip. A remote repairman at out next stop reported this is a common occurrence on this coach and it would need to be completely rebuilt. We noted that during transport there was sawdust on the cabinets and floors which we have been informed is evidence of excessive frame flexing. We took the coach back to the dealer from which we purchased the unit. The slide out had to be completely rebuilt (new rails, new slide blocks, new motors). We have little confidence that the slide out will not fail again. We noted that the rear tires were wearing at a rate of more than 4 times faster than the front tires. The excessive wear was accompanied with concern that we would blow a tire on the road and cause an accident and/or injury. A Lippert representative was consulted who advised that the front axle was defective and had to be replaced. Our extended warranty did not cover the cost of the axle. The next major trip was in summer 2024. The main slide out failed again. A repairman noted that the motors and rails needed to be replaced again and that the frame was at the limit of being within specs and may have contributed to the problem. During that repair the repairman noted cracking in the roof seams at the major junction at the front of the camper and around AC units and vents. Each of those areas had been resealed just 5 months earlier. We were informed that this was also evidence of excessive frame flexing. The repair facility diagnostician reported that the roof needed to be scraped and resealed.Read more

After seeing the rear subframe of a 2014 Audi Q5 nearly split in half due to rust, causing vehicle handling and steering issues, I inspected the rear subframe of my 2014 Audi SQ5 and found similar rust, though not quite as bad. The plastic gravel guards that use plastic rivets to attach to the rear subframe trap water, salt, and brine inside the hollow steel tubing of the subframe causing it to ru

Photos of the damage were sent to one local dealer who claimed not to seen this type of damage before and refused to cover repair under Audi's 12 year corrosion perforation warranty. This is a serious defect that appears to affect quite a few 2008-2017 Audi Q5 and SQ5 models.Read more

Hope to be able to get this solved. My 2008 Toyota Tacoma had a recall with the previous owner but they didn't take it in. Also there are a few spots on the

Within a year I'm gonna have to park it because it liable to possible break in half. Toyota should of let me known when they had it on the lift replacing the rear leaf springs. Upon completing a trip with the RV mentioned, an inspection was completed of the units suspension system where it was found to be compromised. Not knowing what compromised the suspension (leaf springs, shackles, hangars, etc), further investigation was done where the underbelly of the camper was removed. Upon gaining access to the actual RV frame, it was found to have at least two major cross me
... mbers completely broken off the I-beam that runs from the front to back of the camper. Not only were there two cross members where the welds had completely broken free, but there were other metal bracings between cross members and to the I-beams that have also completely broken off. With the welds completely broken, there is no support between the two I-beams on this camper leading to major safety concern not only to those towing the fifth wheel but other motorist around the unit while on the highway. No accident has occurred but instead the frame has completely failed, including multiple cross members, other structural steel bracing and even multiple outriggers compromised due to the movement of the main 12" I-beams. This is a MAJOR safety concern that Lippert (frame manufacturer) nor Jayco (RV brand) is taking any responsibility for but should be addressed as other units sitting on similar frames could be facing the same issues due to the low quality welds and bracing.Read more

I am experiencing significant and persistent vibrations at highway speeds (60–75 mph) in my 2024 Kia EV9. Despite multiple dealership visits and repair attempts, the issue remains unresolved. The vibrations cause noticeable discomfort and potential safety risks, especially on long drives. Timeline of Events & Repairs: 1.First Visit to Kia dealer (Dec 24): The dealership performed a tire balance
... and determined one tire was defective, replacing it. Vibrations persisted. 2.Second Visit (Jan 25) The dealership replaced the remaining 3 tires 3. ThirdVisit (Feb 25): The dealership identified three wheels with lateral runout and replaced them. They also performed road force balancing, reportedly bringing all values below 16. 4.Test Drive (Feb 25): After picking up my vehicle, I drove on the interstate and found the vibrations had worsened, now starting at 60 mph instead of 70 mph. •A third-party wheel shop inspected the wheels and found the fourth wheel (not replaced by Kia) was defective and out of round. 5.Dealership’s Response: Despite these findings, Kia dealer dismissed my concerns and referred me to another dealership for a second opinion. They also stated that third-party evaluations are not accepted, creating an endless loop where I cannot get the issue properly addressed. Safety Concerns: •Vibrations impact vehicle stability and driver comfort, especially on long trips. •Extended driving with excessive vibrations may lead to fatigue, reduced control, and premature mechanical wear. •The fact that multiple components (wheels, tires) have required replacement raises concerns about a potential manufacturing defect affecting Kia EV9 models. Request for Investigation: The dealership has failed to resolve this issue despite multiple repair attempts, and their refusal to acknowledge third-party findings leaves me with no clear resolution path. I request that NHTSA investigate potential defects in the wheels, tires, or drivetrain system of the Kia EV9.Read more

1) 2024 Honda Pilot is a 7 passenger vehicle w/2WD towing rating of 3500 pounds. With 4 people in the rows 1&2, and 4-20 lb. suitcases in the cargo area behind the 2nd row, the rear suspension has extreme negative camber on the suspension and it looks like it's weighted down with a ton of rocks in the back. This causes excessive tire wear on the inside of the rear tires.I brought this into the deal
... ership to address, and they said that it's normal. They declined to check the alignment specs, and said that they just put a couple guys in the 2nd row and all looked normal.Must be inaccurate specs, or it has inadequate rear suspension and/or rear shocks. Why would a vehicle with 60% of the passenger/weight capacity, and with not even set up with a towing hitch, have this kind of problem? This should be investigated as we've never had this problem with our previous Honda's, or any other vehicle. 2) Since new, we have problems with the acceleration of the vehicle, primarily from a standing start. When we try to gently press on the gas peddle it surges forward like a person in a sports car trying to spin the tires. This has nothing to do with the pavement as it's dry concrete, and it is very hard to get the vehicle to move forward without spinning the front tires.Dealership says that it's normal as it just has to do with the gearing of the new 10 speed transmission and it's sensitive (huge understatement). This rapid acceleration is dangerous and can cause you to loose control, and even worse if we're driving on wet roads.I've never experienced a gas peddle/acceleration problem like this on any vehicle I've owned in 40 years, even sports cars.Drive one of these Pilot's and you'll see yourself! 3) Honda's Vehicle Data Privacy Notice is extremely unethical and should be illegal.Honda is collecting and selling it's clients personal info to third parties. When you're at speeds greater than 15mph and hit a bump or encounter a surface irregularity (pothole, expansion joint, etc.), the Kia EV9 GT Line goes into a porpoising sway, causing the entire chassis to become unsettled. The swaying is much more pronounced when only one side of the encounters the irregularity, or if the car is not perfectly perpendicular to the irregularity and the left and righ
... t wheels pass over the irregularity at different times. The effect is especially noticeable in the rear. This unsettling 'swaying' increases with speed and happens both while driving straight and through corners. The rear end feels as though it's hopping or skipping from side to side. Out of all the vehicles I’ve driven—and I’ve driven quite a few—I’ve never experienced anything like this. During wet and slippery conditions, driving over small bumps or manhole covers has even caused the vehicle to lose traction and begin spinning - even while traveling at 25mph in a straight line. I purchased the EV9 in early 2024 and it has had the issue since delivery. I have heard many other EV9 GT Line owners complain of similar suspension issues and I am frankly surprised that there has not been a string of crashes and fatalities linked to the issue. I have spoken to the Kia dealership several times but because the vehicle is new they claim that they have not heard any other reports and they do not have the experience to diagnose or fix the issue.Read more

I purchased my vehicle used in 2019 and immediately noticed a loud creaking noise from the front passenger area, especially in colder weather when driving over bumps at low speeds. By 2024, the noise became louder, more frequent, and occurred in all temperatures. In October 2024, I lost control of my vehicle and nearly flipped. Warning lights briefly appeared, indicating possible suspension issue
... s, but they disappeared before I could diagnose the problem. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to continue driving despite the safety risk. In February 2025, I had a flat tire on the front passenger side and discovered it was nearly bald—far more worn than the other tires of the same age. Upon removal, it became clear that the front lower control arm was in a dangerously unnatural state and needed replacement. I recalled seeing a 2012 recall for this exact part in my Honda account, but when I entered my VIN, it stated the recall didn’t apply—likely due to age rather than the actual defect. This is a life-or-death issue that could easily lead to a fatal crash. Honda must address this immediately.Read more
