Common problem amongst Can Am Ryker riders. When making a sweeping left turn between 20-40 mph, the right front wheel will brake/accelerate on it's own and the bike will jerk. It also causes the right wheel to wobble forcing me to accelerate or decelerate to retain control of the bike. I quick google search produced hundreds of other riders experiencing the same issue and that BRP/Can Am does not

The dealership had the vehicle for 3 weeks, had difficulty assessing the situation and changed the front left air suspension arm. They told us it was fixed. We picked it up and as we were driving it home the service leveling system indicator came on, we brought it right back. They had the vehicle another 2 weeks and changed the solonoids, reset and recalibrated and had us pick it up. Within a few weeks the same thing happened, but worse. As I was driving it, an explosion sounded from the vehicle and the whole entire front of the vehicle lowered to the crash shield, making it extremely unsafe to drive. I have asked for the dealership to get a certified mechanic from GM to come and look at the vehicle and to start the repurchase process, no one is getting back to us and the vehicle is unsafe to drive.Read more

On [XXX], I purchased a 2019 Honda Civic Si (VIN: [XXX] ) from Zeigler Toyota of Racine (WI). At the time of sale, the dealership concealed critical safety-related information, including three major prior damage events (roof, front, rear), multiple Illinois auction sales, and pre-installed aftermarket suspension modifications that prevented proper rear alignment. No disclosures were made. After p
... urchase, I was referred to Zeigler Honda of Racine, where a certified Honda technician confirmed the vehicle could not be aligned due to these undisclosed modifications, and would soon become unsafe to drive. Improper rear alignment creates risks of unpredictable handling, tire failure, and catastrophic loss of control. Zeigler Honda attempted to discreetly order parts without warranty company knowledge and failed to document inspection results or service records, indicating concealment efforts. Zeigler Auto Group operates 84 franchises across 41 locations in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan, and reports annual sales exceeding $2.2 billion. Given their size and multi-state operations, systemic concealment of structural and mechanical safety defects by affiliated dealerships poses a significant public safety threat across state lines. I have submitted complaints to the Wisconsin Department of Justice, DATCP, WisDOT, FTC, BBB, Honda Corporate, and the Illinois Attorney General. Given the severity of the defects, concealment, and Zeigler’s multi-state reach, I respectfully request NHTSA investigate Zeigler Auto Group for patterns of selling unsafe vehicles without proper disclosure. Traveling home from Arkansas towing our RV. No difficulties noted pulled RV.Traveled only DOT roads never boondocking in which case not been taken off road. When pulling out of a Bucees in Pigeon Forge our rear driver side wheels went over a scooped curb. Did not feel it but my husband the driver saw it in the rear view mirror. Lift up door and it closed. Again not found to be urgent, plan to have realigned upon arrival home. Upon arrival home we parked the RV in the driveway and noticed that the axels had shifted toward the driver side. We looked up inside and saw the leaf springs shifted. We contacted Lippert who is the manufacturer of the frame. They sent one of their inspectors to our location to inspect the RV. In preparation for the inspected we were responsible for removing the underpinning and under insulation. The inspector came. From the driveway he was able to see the shifted axels. On the way into our. home we said I can guaranteed this is a Lippert Issue. We were all underneath the RV as the inspector pointed out numerous "incomplete welds", the two crossmembers broken away. There were numerous breaks "I" beam breaks ranging from 4" to 6" in length. frame twisting. This is to mention only a few of the findings. Extensive communication with Lippert ensued. Their final declaration is "It appears that some outside force has caused the extensive damages we see on your frame and suspension. This type of damage is not consistent with normal use and wear and tear. This is not any type of warranty failure and for these reasons will not be considered for warranty coverage at this time. Dangerous hop that I was experiencing and would happen on a straight away going down the interstate. I did not have to be hitting a corner for the back end to hop sideways on me. Complete loss of the vehicle going around of the vehicle, which feels as its fishtailing or hitting black ice. Urgent safety complaint for my 2025 Toyota Camry SE. I feel unsafe driving this car, especially with my child, due to extremely premature and unsafe tire wear found at only 17,309 miles. Key Facts: Mileage: 17,309. Problem: Needed immediate replacement of 4 tires due to severe premature wear. Two tires worn to steel belts, risking tire failure. Faulty wheel bearing also diagnosed. Safety: High
... risk of tire failure. Unsafe feeling driving car, particularly with child. Maintenance: Regular tire rotations performed. Alignment done at ~9,000 miles. This severe wear is unacceptable and unsafe. My 2 prior new Camrys had tires last 45k-60k miles. Expected these tires to last at least another 25,000 miles / 1 year. Finding steel belts at <18k miles was shocking/unexpected. Despite the danger & maintenance history, Toyota dismissed concerns, blaming only the tire maker (Bridgestone). Toyota refuses to investigate potential vehicle causes (suspension, alignment specs, wheel bearing link) for this rapid, unsafe wear. Online research shows a pattern: other newer Camry owners report similar premature tire wear, possibly linked to larger factory rims. Extreme low-mileage failure suggests a vehicle safety defect. Urge NHTSA to investigate promptly to determine if a vehicle issue is causing this unsafe tire wear on these models, putting families at risk.Read more

Suspension system potentially life threatening. On [XXX] I purchased a 2005 Chevy Silverado truck from used car dealer in Tallassee, AL/$6000. Several days after driving home at Interstate speeds, I discovered extreme rust on the underside of the truck. The spare tire rim was unusable from rust and the tire hoist was rusted beyond use--I had to cut the tire hoist cable tip with a grinder and l
... et the tire fall to the driveway. At that point, I found an extremely unsafe and dangerous defect to the truck. The top of the right rear shock absorber was not attached to the truck frame. The connector bracket had rusted completely away from the truck frame. I texted pictures and called the dealer and was told the sale was “as is”--not his problem. I asked if he inspected, or even looked at the bottom of the truck—his text reply was “I personally did not do anything other than a walk around and test drive” He later said by text he had been a used car dealer for 32 years and had an excellent reputation. Subsequent research found NHTSA-DOT’s 49 CFR Section 570.8 -Suspension Systems-- where it states “Shock absorber mountings, shackles, and U-bolts shall be securely attached.” I believe the licensed used car dealer failed to properly inspect the used truck and clearly did not identify and report to me, the buyer, hidden potential life threatening deficiencies of the suspension system and other defects that would dramatically reduce the value of the vehicle. At that point the dealer refused to answer his phone or texts. I am the owner of a 2017 Land Rover Range Rover (VIN: [XXX] ). I recently discovered a crack in the front steering knuckle of my vehicle, which I believe poses a significant safety risk.
