NHTSA I own a 2021 Nissan Titan. I am deeply concerned that I have defective Air Bags. I have had 2 collisions in my vehicle at high rates of speed and none deployed either time. I now fear that this vehicle will not protect me in the unfortunate case of another collision. I do understand they will not deploy under every condition, but I do expect additional protection outside of a seatbelt i
... n a collision at a high rate of speed. In the first Collision, I was going 45 MPH. I had injuries to my neck and back. I had extensive work done to the suspension, drivers door, headlight, fender, bumper, grill, and the hood. In my second collision, a deer ran into my truck while I was traveling at 70 MPH. The head of the deer damaged the headlight and wiring harness, the bumper, grill, and hood and its body heavily damaged my passenger front door and fender. My passenger rear door also had some damage. No injuries occurred but the impacts should have caused a deployment. I am aware that there was a Recall on 2021 & 2024 Titans about the air bags having a delayed or failed deployment however I received no letter from this, neither is this in any of my printed service records. I would like Nissan to inspect my air bag system to see if there’s a defect that is causing them not to deploy or to make sure that my Titan was not missed in the group of trucks that had this defect, that way the recall can be extended to more 2021 Titans. I am in fear to drive this truck due to the fact that it may not protect me in the case of another accident. I am ready to purchase another Titan and have been loyal to the Nissan brand after owning 4 Altimas, 1 Armada, and soon to be 2 Titans.Read more

Vehicle experiences steering vibration when at highway speeds (above 65mph). I have brought the vehicle in for service four times and the issue still returned after multiple alignments, rotations, and road force balances. The local service techs are working with Kia, but it has currently been in the shop for 24 days with no resolution. According to the service advisor, tires have been inspected an
... d even swapped with new ones but the problem is still present. I am concerned with the safety of the vehicle because it creates issues with control at high speeds which could result in an accident. Even at low speeds, the rear end fishtails over small bumps creating a temporary loss of control. I am unsure if the two are related. I can provide Kia service order numbers and Kia customer care case number upon request. Multiple other owners have experienced the same concerns and have posted a growing number of instances where the vehicle was purchased back by Kia as a result.Read more

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a prolonged and troubling service experience at Jaguar Land Rover Buckhead, related to my 2018 Range Rover Sport (approximately 49,000 miles), and to express dissatisfaction with the handling of a prior related incident. ... ildren to school. For past context, In 2023, I experienced a faulty ground stud issue that left me stranded on the highway during my morning commute. I later learned this exact issue had been subject to a recall on the Discovery model — but not on mine — despite identical symptoms. As a result, I was issued a $675 Owner Loyalty Certificate (OLC) by Molly B. of Land Rover USA, which I appreciated, but which I believe did not fully compensate for the risk and inconvenience caused. Recently, I returned to the another dealer, Jaguar Land Rover Buckhead, in May 2025 for a new issue. I was told there was a broken exhaust bolt that delayed repairs. I specifically asked the service advisor if I was responsible for the bolt breaking during service and was told I was not, though it was framed as a “common issue” across many vehicles. I respectfully disagreed, noting I’ve owned multiple vehicles with higher mileage and never encountered such a failure. I also suggested that if this is so common, it may reflect a design flaw that Land Rover should address. Additionally, I was misled by the service advisor, Cole Eidson, who sent me a message on Tuesday, May 28th, stating the bolt was already removed and the exhaust installation was underway. I later discovered this was not true, and that the bolt had not yet been extracted at the time of that message. This misrepresentation caused unnecessary confusion, delay, and loss of trust. This pattern — first with the unresolved ground stud failure, then with misinformation about repairs and unexplained delays — leaves me deeply disappointed withRead more

Case 11655023 Hello, I need your help. I spoke with Honda and was told they would buy back my truck and someone would contact me. Mrs. Briana called and said I had to keep taking the truck to the mechanic as many times as needed. I asked about the brakes, which were making noise, and was told it was “normal.” I insisted on getting them fixed, but they said if parts weren’t broken, Honda wouldn’t replace them. I spoke to the manager, who drove the truck with me and said they would adjust the brakes and fix the faulty fuel sensor. I brought it back on Wednesday, received a service receipt, but when I tried to leave, the truck wouldn’t start. I showed the manager a video of the issue, and he said they would fix it. I returned on Wednesday, left the truck again, and on Thursday a worker called saying the truck had no issues. I reminded them the manager had promised repairs, and they said he would call me. On Friday, I was told the truck had “bad luck,” nothing was wrong, and I should pick it up — or go to another Honda if I wasn’t satisfied.Read more

We purchased our 2021 Grand Design 395M Momentum new in early 2021. Over the past year we noticed cabinets on the passenger side bedroom separating from there wood frames. We initially repaired the cabinets ourselves thinking it was just poor workmanship. This last trip from Houston to Myrtle Beach the cabinets again separated. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the bottom of the cap had separated approximately 1" and when you lower the unit onto the 5th wheel hitch the pin box sinks an additional 1.5". It appeared sever enough that we were uncomfortable towing the unit back to Houston. We secured an enclosed trailer (at our expense) for our items and left the unit in storage (at our expense) until we could contact Grand Design. We contacted Grand Design and are scheduling our unit to be towed to a local Myrtle Beach dealer for repair. In my opinion if we would have attempted to tow the trailer it could have broken loose and collapsed on to our truck or broke free entirely. At a minimum I do believe a letter notifying owners of the issues is warranted and what repairs/changes are being made. It is only a matter of time before there is a catastrophic event with sever injury or death.Read more

From the initial test drive, I have felt an unusual vibration felt in both the steering wheel and seat while driving the vehicle. Dealership tells me that Lincoln engineers are aware of this situation, and that other owners of the 2024 Lincoln Navigators and 2024 Ford Expeditions have complained about this same concerns. Besides the vibration, the ride quality of the vehicle is terrible, and appears to me that the adaptive suspension is not performing as expected. I had a 2022 Lincoln Navigator which did not have any of these issues, and I know how this vehicle should ride and feel, and I know that this particular vehicle is not handling and riding as designed. Rear-subframe corrosion at the lower-control-arm mounts has progressed to the point where both arms have play and produce loud metallic bangs while braking or turning at low speed. Two independent shops lifted the car, documented flaking rust around the bushing sleeves, and advised the subframe is structurally compromised and could let a control arm detach under load. The corroded subframe remains

The vehicle already pulls right under braking, and feels very unstable in curves Problem has been reproduced and photographed by two independent repair facilities. No manufacturer representative has inspected the vehicle so far. Additional component failures possibly linked to the same progressive chassis stress: premature wear of both front CV axles; timing-chain stretch with worn guides; slack oil-pump chain; upper & lower oil-pan gasket leaks; water-pump seepage; right engine-mount collapse; persistent misfire traced to a loose intake-hose clamp; transmission-cooler hose clip released under pressure, dumping all ATF and destroying the automatic transmission; excessive play in all four lower control-arm bushings. The transmission and the other components were replaced 1-2 months before the subframe bro History: A faint clank from the rear suspension first appeared roughly three years into ownership. Dealer service dismissed it as “normal noise,” and warranty would not cover “loud clanks,” so the issue went unaddressed. The noise has grown steadily into the current condition, suggesting long-term subframe corrosion that was never inspected or remediated. No collision, flood, or off-road use; the car has typical Northeast winter-salt exposure. The failure pattern matches subframe-corrosion cases already acknowledged by the manufacturer on this model, although this serial number is not yet included in the official campaign.Read more

ENTIRE body frame has excessive rust, holes, and cracks. It is available for inspection. Toyota dealership says it is safe to drive for now but it is failing. I feel any cracks, rust, holes, separation of frame components places all occupants and anyone near the vehicle at risk for when anything fails - this could be when the vehicle is on the expressway in motion (such as when the GM ignition swi
... tch failures happened), causing catastrophic loss of life, injuries, and damage to all. It's not a matter of "if" it happens, it's "when" it will happen. There are no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem. The exterior, interior, braking, engine of the vehicle are in remarkable shape so it's very misleading. There are also 4runners on dealership lots that have significant rust, holes, and cracks in the frames that the dealership does not warn about, rather, they still have high for-sale values because the vehicle looks good otherwise.Read more

clunking/thumping noise coming from front end over speed bumps like something is loose or going to fall apart. have taken car into service few times and was told its normal, its getting worse. Online forum threads have mentioned same issue , I am afraid one of these days something going to snap and cause a breakdown or even worse terrible accident.

Left rear trailing arm rusted right out of the mount while driving. I was driving about 10 mph off of a two-way stop, crossing the intersection of [XXX] (straight, no turn) As I got through the intersection the back left end dropped, something metal scraped and halted my vehicle. I did not run over any bumps or potholes. It just happened with no external cause. It was my rear tailing arm draggi
... ng on the road (see pictures). Which had detached from the arm mount above. Luckily, I was no longer on the highway when it happened. Had I been driving at 55 or 60mph it would have caused a serious accident, which is very scary. The vehicle is in great condition otherwise. It recently had new tires put on and an oil change, so I know folks were under there less than 3 months prior. After research, I now know that this issue is a regular complaint of those who own Honda Elements in northern climates, so much so that in Canada there was a recall on the models 2003-2010. I don't know why there hasn't been a recall or lawsuit in the United States, as this was a very rapid, dangerous on-the-road failure. There were no visible warning signs or statements issued by Honda to be on the lookout for this, and the most troubling aspect is that it was likely rusting from the top of the mount down, which is why it doesn't spark alarm by repair shops and tire changes. I am calling my insurance today to talk it over. I'm grateful for my safety and others in this situation, but fear that it has not worked out that way for someone else. First time I had problems with my 2021 Terrain I took it to victory GMC on 9/20/24. At the it had 45,000 miles. Every time I would drive and accelerate it would shake extremely bad in the floorboard. There was also transmission fluid leaking. I picked the car up on 9/27/2024 and was advised that both front axles were replaced, which corrected the shaking and the driver side axle seal was replaced,
... which was where the leak was coming from. this was covered under warranty but at 45,000 miles I should not have been already having axle problems or any type of leak. I dropped my car off again on May 5, 2025. When I called them the day I made the appointment I let them know I had a service transmission message show up and then go away, I told them it’s taking longer to kick into gear when I’m on the highway, I told them it revs up past 4 1/2 RPMS at times when it had not previously done this and it just sounded like the engine is working harder. I also told them I had a check engine line come on and go off and it was code P2271 which was an oxygen sensor code. I also told them when I had the oil changed. They told me there was a slight oil cooler leak starting. All this was supposedly addressed when I dropped it off to be serviced on 5/5/25. I was called on five 625 to pick up my vehicle notifying me that they found no issues. They were unable to verify concern concerning my check engine light. They said there was no oil cooler leaking, it was just slightly seeping, so not considered a leak. And they said no transmission concern operated as designed. Fast forward to May 9, 2025… I got in my car in the morning and once again the check engine light was on. I drove it straight to GMC and had them put the reader on it. The oxygen sensor code came on. The same code I told them about on the 5th that they said was fine on the 6th. I made an appointment once again to get this check engine light looked at although the check engine light is not on at the moment again.Read more
