Refer to Safety Recall 25V747 and see the attachment which outlines our complaint. RV does not comply with requirements of FMVSS 110 and 49 CFR Part 567. We were the reporting party to the manufacturer and according to NHTSA database, our VIN is not present for the required recall service/extended fuel tank replacement. The RV manufacturer and dealer are not presently responding to requests fro
... m us to have the recall service completed. We believe they have not correctly reported additional safety concerns as are described in the attachment. The manufacturer has communicated that since producing RV's in 2021, they have improperly weighed RVs which has resulted in inaccurate OCCC labeling and we believe owners unknowingly operated RV's over GVWR. Our RV's OCCC is 333 lbs. A 174 lb weight savings per Safety Recall 25V747 will not bring our RV into compliance as we have a certified curb weight of 8700 lbs. and believe other same year/models have the same curb weight. Additionally, we are inquiring if Remote Vans is required to provide a cargo carrying allowance in addition to the occupant weight i.e. 600 lbs. for four seat belted passengers per FMVSS 110. We have also filed a complaint/attachment with Oregon Department of Justice Consumer Protection on 11/28/25.Read more

Hi there, I purchased this car used with approximately 78,000 miles on it and this incident occurred at 94,000 miles. The car is equipped with a system call ACE (Active Cornering Enhancement) system. The system sends hydraulic fluids to each cornering of the car to help stabilize it around corners. Land Rover installed steel hard lines to deliver the fluids to each corner. They also tucked the
... lines to the side of the car and added a cover to protect the lines. However, that only caused these lines to fail, because moisture containing salt in the winters can travel to these lines and causes them to rust and no matter how much under carriage wash is performed, no clean water can get to them to wash away the salt. My lines failed on me and that cost me $4,400 in repairs at Lake Bluff Land Rover in the state of Illinois. They informed me there's more lines that need to be replaced which will cost an additional $5,500 in repair. When I complained to Land Rover that they should have installed stainless steel lines instead of steel to prevent this from happening, they assured me if this will become a common issue, they would perform a recall and issue a refund. When I spoke to the technicians at the Land Rover dealership, they told me they are getting a lot of cars with the same issue. I do not have the resources to investigate this issue nor the authority, but NHTSA does. Would you please look into this matter? It's a big safety concern and it's a huge mistake on Land Rover which they are avoiding to taking responsibility for. Thank you. I am reporting a potential safety-related defect involving premature axle failure on Mazda CX-50 vehicles. There are multiple reports from other Mazda CX-50 owners describing similar axle or CV axle failures, including clicking noises, vibration, loss of power to the wheels, and com
... plete axle failure. These reports are publicly documented on online owner forums and Reddit, suggesting a pattern rather than isolated incidents. Axle failure can result in sudden loss of propulsion and may increase the risk of a crash, especially at highway speeds or during turns. I am concerned this defect affects multiple vehicles and warrants investigation and a potential recall before more failures occur.Read more

Steering rack is starting to creak non stop, it began around 4k miles, the car currently has 5,350 miles. Brought car to Lia Honda, Northampton, Ma. A structural chassis component (V-brace) was permanently removed from my vehicle by Tesla Service during a service visit. The removal was performed under a Tesla-described engineering retrofit (Tesla Service Article 9188600). The component was not reinstalled or replaced, and Tesla stated that once removed it cannot be reinstalled. The service visit was originally initiated due to a persistent rat
... tle/noise from the vehicle The safety concern arises from: •A permanent modification to a structural chassis component, performed without my authorization. •Removal of a component originally installed for structural reinforcement and stability, creating uncertainty regarding vehicle rigidity, crash behavior, and handling. •The continued presence of an unresolved structural noise/rattle, which can be distracting to the driver and may indicate an underlying structural or mechanical issue. The vehicle was sold and delivered with this component installed, and its removal was not disclosed or approved prior to service. The noise/rattle was present prior to the service visit and prompted the service appointment. The structural component removal occurred during the service visit. The problem was reproduced and confirmed by Tesla Service and they: •Acknowledged the noise/rattle concern. •Performed a structural retrofit involving removal of the V-brace. •Marked the concern as “resolved”, despite the noise still being present. •Later stated the noise is considered “normal”, even though it is not present in all Model Y vehicles, including the Juniper variant. No warning lights or system messages appeared. The only symptom was a persistent rattle/noise originating from the vehicle chassis The vehicle was inspected and modified by Tesla Service, acting on behalf of the manufacturer. The modification was performed under a Tesla engineering directive. No independent service center, insurance representative, or law enforcement agency has inspected the vehicle.Read more

I am reporting a safety issue involving my Mercedes-Benz GLK 350 following repairs performed by an authorized dealership, Critz Mercedes-Benz in Savannah, Georgia. I asked the dealership to fully investigate the cause of the issue and not limit the diagnosis or repair to any single system, as I am n

During the process, a service advisor contacted me regarding an additional charge of approximately $800, which I approved to ensure the vehicle was repaired correctly and to avoid any claim that I declined recommended work. After the first repair, the noise was still present. I contacted the service advisor and returned the vehicle. After the vehicle had already been released to me, the dealership’s own technician recorded a diagnostic video stating that a suspension arm was “about to break.” I have the video and the email containing the link. This confirms the vehicle was returned to me with a serious unresolved safety defect, and I returned it after learning of this issue. The dealership performed additional work and released the vehicle again, but the noise remained. I asked the service advisor to hear the noise in person, after which he verbally stated that “all GLK 350s do that.” I later sent a text expressing my concern, and he replied in writing stating the same. I also have a saved and transcribed voicemail repeating this statement. Since the repair, the condition has worsened. Steering noise continues and braking effectiveness has degraded, requiring longer stopping distance. Because steering and suspension directly affect braking and vehicle control, this presents a safety risk. Due to the expense of the failed repair, I have no immediate alternative transportation and have been forced to continue driving the vehicle. The vehicle is available for inspection.Read more

My wife and I purchased a new 2025 Honda Odyssey Van as it currently has about 11,000 miles and we both have noticed a front end vibration/rattle/noise that can be heard and felt in the steering wheel at varying speeds in the front suspension which leads me to believe as an engineer there are issues with sway bar end links, bad strut mounts, or loose control arm bushings that are especially notice

This issue could pose a serious safety issues in dealing with failed suspension or steering that could cause a potential wreck or loss of control of a vehicle and result in a product liability suit for all parties involved especially given suspension and steering are considered critical auto parts in nature. The problem has been reproduced with my making an appointment at Watermark Honda located at 3201 Park Ave, Paducah, KY 42001 on November 19th, 2025 with the Master Service Tech Caleb Buchanan and Service Advisor Harley Littrell both driving the vehicle and acknowledging the noise and vibration. The heating system in my 2024 Tesla Model Y failed after only one winter season. Under normal HVAC operation, the vehicle blows cold air and does not provide cabin heat. A loss of heating presents a safet

FORMAL COMPLAINT: CONSUMER FRAUD & SAFETY VIOLATION Dealership: Germain Toyota West (Columbus, OH) Case Reference: #[XXX] To the Consumer Protection Division: I am filing a formal complaint regarding Theft by Deception, Gross Negligence, and Reckless Endangerment by this dealership. 1. A sudden control arm fracture presents a serious steering and safety hazard and should not occur under normal operation The dealership indicated that they had a written explanation attributing the failure to ‘external forces,’ but when I requested supporting details, photographs, or physical evidence of impact, none were provided at the time.
