Bolt connecting tension link to cradle snapped. We were on the highway at the time (approx 70 MPH) and vehicle became difficult to drive. These bolts are known to be susceptible to breaking and Jeep has reportedly upgraded these bolts on newer models.

I keep hearing a clunking noise in the rear of my car and it gets louder at low speeds and when I turn when stopped. I have been doing research to try to see what it could be and I am seeing that this is a common issue with this car and there's no recall. The parts alone are $200+ and then you have to pay for labor. This is ridiculous for a faulty assembly problem due to GM.

I was driving about 35-40mpg when the right rear toe link snapped due to inproper torquing. I believe the bolt had backed out then snapped. Accentuated body lean when taking a right hand turn. Same load over each wheel causes more compression on the left spring versus the right spring.
