FRAME IS ROTTING FROM INSIDE OUT, EXCESSIVE CORROSION. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE THAT WAS COMMON TO THE EARLY/MID 2000'S TOYOTA TUNDRA, TACOMA, AND 4RUNNER, THE LATTER OF WHICH SHARES FRAME COMPONENTS. TOYOTA, FOR WHATEVER REASON, COVERED THE TUNDRA AND TACOMA THROUGH RECALLS, BUT SO FAR HAS NOT DONE A RECALL ON THE 4RUNNER OR GX470.

Crossover member is severely deteriorated and sway bar has broken out of the rear crossover member on both sides. Car only has 92,000 miles on it. Lower control arm can come lose and causing the wheel to detach from car. Sway bar was dragging the ground and upon inspection, noticed the deteriorated rear crossover.

The truck at highway speed started to shake violently to the point that I could not steer it. I had to slow down in traffic to a point where the shaking subsided. Very frightening experience. We were not sure if we were going to crash in heavy traffic.

Brakes are delayed and have a slipping feeling at times. Lights flash and wheel locks up, unknown problem, when vehicle is shut down and restarted problem resolves. Vehicle will not start due to electrical problem. researched and found safety recalls precisely for the problems I am having on other models, my truck needs to be included in those recalls.

Was driving on freeway at approx. 55 mph. Had to brake rapidly (but not emergency type braking) for accident ahead. Passenger side front wheel locked up and could only drive vehicle to exit freeway. A piece of metal from the suspension had broken and was caught between wheel and brake. Car was towed to Tesla where they indicated the front lower fore link had failed.

this vehicle it's located at the New England area where winter eats metal. the links and axis axle are exposed to salt on winter months. see images attached. the whole underline vehicle should have a decent anti rust protective coat. the rear transmission cap should be replaced as well.

The rear trailing arm of the car came off while driving. The part of the frame where the suspension connects rusted through. I looked up related cases and it seams that there is a recall only in Canada and not in the US. This is dangerous and almost sent me off the road with no warning. Broken rear axle on the van. The axle has broken where the reinforcements were welded in from the recall in 2010. NHTSA action number is PE10016. So, the corrective action did not work and now I have broken axle as a result. The axle broke while driving the van and we were very fortunate to be driving at a slow rate of speed.

We have not had any problems with this in the past, but it is a brand new trailer and we are learning it has happened to a few others all Grand Design XLS series. Rapid oscillation of the steering wheel ( death wobble ). The steering damper was replaced at 18,744 miles. This helped for a little while. When you hit a slight bump in the road, often times the seam where a bridge meets the pavement the rapid oscillation will begin. Beginning at 18,000 miles on the truck, the front end would begin to bounce and vibrate at speeds over 55 mph is I hit even minor bumps in the road. The vibrations would seem to build on themselves until the truck was violently shaking and the steering wheel was uncontrollable. By 20,000 miles this was occurring at lower speeds as well.
