I was driving to the store around 1 month ago and I noticed the truck was trying to tail to the side as I was driving. I thought nothing of it until my Uncle Bobby noticed my rear shock was scraping the ground. We looked underneath to investigate and found both shock mounts completely rusted off and the frame in terrible shape. The truck itself barely has any rust other than the tailgate and bed f
... loor. Also thought I should include that the hose that connect the gas tank and where you pump the gas is rusted to where every time I pump gas, a little drips out onto the floor. I was trying to find videos on how to fix it but came across a page that says Rangers have been recalled from the years 1995 to 2000 because of Toyota starting to make frames for them. *EDIT* Also would like to mention that the frame where the bumper attaches to on the driver side has cracked and now the bumper is sagging down .Read more

The Air Suspension System on my 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 4 X4 has stalled or has currently frozen and this makes it extremely difficult to steer the vehicle. Even at low speeds 25-45 mph it leaves the pavement when crossing the slightest pavement imperfections. The Highways of Louisiana and Texas are filled with imperfections and it is a horrifying experience to drive this vehicle in this condition.
... I have taken it to several different respected mechanics, and many are the most recommended and it's always the same. "Dodge needs to have their butts kicked for putting this system in a small truck such as this." They warns me, 'it will only grow worse as the truck gets older.' When driving on the Interstate (I-20) in Louisiana and Texas the truck leaves the ground whenever I pass over a dip, bump or a bridge. This is scary when I am driving along beside an 18 Wheeler. Crossing Railroad Tracks is so distressing and uncomfortable needless to say, It feels like the truck is falling apart. I am afraid for my own safety, but I must drive the 35 miles one way to work five days a week. I have replaced the pump, but now the pump is pumping, but it appears to be something else. The local Dealerships have a reputation of ripping people off, and when I call to inquire or complain I only get a Salesmen who can help by assisting me to trade it in. At this point, with vehicle prices skyrocketing I just this dealership should sale vehicles worth the money they get. Dodge really needs to fix this problem. I have looked on YouTube and noticed this is a very common problem, and in every video the owners are stating how dangerous these vehicles are when the system goes out. It is life threatening to simple drive this vehicle to work in order to make a living to support my family.Read more

Since we purchased this jeep new it has been plagued with steering wandering and pulls to left or right without warning. It was dangerous to drive and unsafe for my family. After some researched I learned there was a technical service bulletin (8-003-21) for the 2018-2020 JL and supposedly the 2021 had the upgraded steering gear and updated software for the electric power steering. However this
... really didn't solved the problem and may owners have been complaining about the same unsafe wandering or pulling of the vehicle from left or right. I have take it to the dealer and also called Chrysler direct, so they can open case number (80562177). After 30 days at the dealer the outcome was to increase the tow to +.35 from Chrysler's recommended +.20. It is my understanding both +.35 and +.20 are within the manufacture's recommended specifications. Normally isn't the toe supposed to be near or at zero (0). It seems that setting the toe to +.35 is a band-aid. While the wandering and pulling has decreased I fear this is short term solution and it may cause unseen premature failure of other components.Read more

They performed work on the engine and deleted illegally all the emissions EGR pollutant controls. They installed faulty wiring for the electric trailer brake controls and the electronic speed controls. They tampered with the air conditioning system causing the compressor to blow out, send metal through the a/c lines, and the belt stopped turning causing the serpentine belt to break, tear the fan shroud apart and shred.
