Twice my truck has shook violently when I hit a Pot hole or bump traveling above 50MPH. The shaking is so bad, your scared, needing to slow down quickly or even stop to get it to stop. It's a danger to the occupants and the surrounding vehicles when this occurs.

The Truck Violently shook when I hit a bump on the highway. I've never felt anything like that before. My wife and I we're shocked as what the truck was doing. I slowed down immediately and pulled over on the shoulder of the highway and walked around the truck to see what happened. Didn't see anything wrong, so I got in the truck and drove to the house.

Driving on highway 287 in NJ and hit slight bump in road causing severe uncontrollable shaking of truck. Finally got truck to pull over and stop. Kept pressure on brakes to stop shaking. Then continued. The next day, on another highway, rt 80 in NJ, I again hit another bump on road going 60, and it happened again.

I have had 3 upper rear lateral links snap off. 2 on the rear driver side and 1 on the rear passenger side. I am researching recalls. And there is a recall on some explorer models for the rear toe links. Sounds like the same thing that keeps happening to my vehicle. I am scared to drive it now. Rear K Frame front part has completely rusted out. Mount ripped trail arm. Both rear tires were ready to shoot off. This was confirmed by a mechanic when the car was being serviced after the check engine light came on one day before taking it to be serviced. The car is not drivable. It only has 60,000 miles on it. It was always serviced at the Mercedes dealers. It appears as a defective part.

Violent shaking of the steering wheel and front end of the truck at 65 MPH while on the highway. The shaking initiated in a right hand curve in the highway. Would not stop shaking until I reduced speed to around 40 MPH and pulled to the shoulder. I had difficulty controlling the truck in traffic until I slowed way below traffic speed. This was a frightening experience to say the least.
