Dash lights went out and windows stopped working (incident date is for dash lights). Clocks are often blank. Clearly there is an electrical/wiring issue. I have complained about it to the dealer at the 5k check, 10k check and the 15k check. At the 15k check they reset the radio! Also when turning right it feels like the front wheel is curling under the vehicle and makes a terrible sound (
... but not always). I made dealer aware of this at the 5k check, 10k check and 15k check. My warranty will be up soon so they just keep riding the clock out.Read more

My 2015 Supercharged Range Rover Sport 5.0L V8 has unexpected rhythmic body movements while stationary. One side goes up and down then the other side goes up and down. This repeats every few seconds the whole ride, obviously more noticeable when stopped. You don't know if the dynamic system is working or not. It can push your car further in to the turn when it does it on a turn. If you are used to
... the dynamic system you may not be prepared for this issue especially since you don't know it is not working properly. This problem is reproducible, it does it every time I start my vehicle. There were no warning signs or lights that alert you that there is even an issue. It scares people who are not expecting the jolt when riding inside. More seriously it is a huge lawsuit waiting to happen because it is a tripping hazard when getting into the vehicle or out of the vehicle. It has the chance to raise up or down the moment you go to get in or raise and lower when stepping out. This is dangerous for anyone. Especially the handicap or elderly, they can easily miscalculate the height and cause them to lose balance, considering the whole car becomes unstable at the same time. There was already a Land Rover Technical bulletin posted about this possible issue with 2014-15.My car exhibits this exact problem. My car isn't within that vin range. However, it's doing the same thing thats listed here, maybe there are more vehicles involved than they originally thought? I have a video to share, contact me for it since I cant share on here. This is what the land rover technical bulletin said: Situation: A potential issue has been identified with the Dynamic Response valve block on certain 2014-2015 Range Rover Sport (L494) and Range Rover (L405) vehicles (5.0L S/C V8 only) within the listed VIN ranges. Unexpected body movements when the vehicle is stationary may be experienced due to the system self-test pulse resulting in pressure in the actuators which is normally isolate from them.Read more

Do people have to die before Ford is held accountable? This is my work truck Mon-Fri and my family truck the rest of the time. I will get this repaired at my expense in order to keep my family safe. My truck developed a severe steering problem. It is called the “Death Wobble” and is a harmonic vibrating and shaking of the front end and steering wheel. While traveling down highway 93 near Kingman AZ we experienced the first episode. It starts when the truck crosses over an uneven joint in the pavement or something like that. It happens while going about 65 MPH and starts vibrating and gets
... continually worse and shakes. The only way to stop it is to slow down to 50 MPH. A couple hours later it did it again on Highway 10 just south of Phoenix. The car behind me almost rear ended me while I was braking hard to get rid of the Death Wobble. TOn the road to Corpus Christie, it did the Death Wobble three times. Two were relatively minor, but one was a hard shaking that really scared us. On the return trip we had an episode that made us both think we were going to die. We were going from Kerrville TX to Las Cruces NM. We were on Highway 10 near Sierra Blanca on a downhill going into a valley. The truck was in cruise control to keep the downhill speed constant. We hit three uneven pavement joints that were close together. The three jolts started violent shaking in the front end. It was hard to hold the steering wheel straight. Suddenly the cruise control went to wide open throttle. I was on the brakes already but now the truck was picking up speed. The brakes had little to no effect on slowing us down. Now at 75 MPH I am pressing the cruise control to turn it off but it does nothing. 80 MPH and I’m trying tow-haul, shut off cruise control, parking brake, but still gaining speed. Finally, I put the truck in neutral and we started to get under control and slow down. I gradually eased onto the shoulder of Highway 10 and rolled to a stop. The Engine is still running wide open at 3800 RPM. I shut off the engine and took a few deep breaths I have never been in such an out-of-control situation in my life. We were both scared to death. On the the trip we had nine more episodes.Read more

On 03/03/2022 I purchase a new 2door jeep wrangler s 2022 at the Victoria dealership in Texas. During the test drive, while driving on the highway at 70 mph, I expressed my concern about the steering wheel acting out and feeling loose. It was a very short drive. The dealership personnel reassured me that everything was fine with the car and I would be safe while driving it. I was ready to drive ba
... ck home to Corpus Christi. Unfortunately, the 140 mi ride turned into a nightmare. After speeding to 60 mph on the highway, the car started acting weird. The wheel felt loose, the steering not under control. The next curve on the road, and I completely lost control over the car; the car just went into the right lane, and I was lucky the truck behind managed to stop. And then it happened again when I was slowing down. I had to stop to calm down. I was shaking and was scared to keep driving home. It took me over 3 hours to get home—the most extended 3 hours ever. I kept the speed 50 mph and below the whole time, and my sister was driving behind me. On 03/05/2022 the vehicle was at the dealership in Corpus Christi to be checked and the problem fixed. They test drove it, find a wobble when hitting a bump, changed a part. The main problem of the loose steering wheel hasn't been fixed. At higher speeds the wheel goes left and right, and the car does not follow; I don't have control of the vehicle and it goes into the right lane on its own. Very unsafe!Read more

This vehicle had a wheel separation while traveling at low speed. The right rear wheel separated from the car. The cause is excessive rust to the trailing arm and specifically to the subframe to which the trailing arm is attached. The car is available for inspection. I also have photographs that show the problem. The safety issue is clear. After separation the car cannot be controlled if
... in motion. This particular vehicle has not been inspected. The wheel separation was reported by me to Honda in North America, to "Chris" in "client relations." A case number was issued for my complaint, #00499145. An insurance claim was made, but the insurer denied the claim. My research shows that this model CRV has been recalled in Canada for this precise problem. In Canada, Honda states that this model CRV has "excessive" rust, leading to failure. Further, that the problem is not readily apparent on inspection, and in fact this car is inspected annually as part of North Carolina licensure, and no inspection ever revealed the excessive rust threat. Here is the Honda press release: " January 23, 2019 Honda has voluntarily recalled approximately 83,953 2007-2011 CR-V vehicles in Canada to address potential excessive corrosion to the rear frame stiffener(s). On affected vehicles, one or both rear frame stiffener(s) may become excessively corroded over time. Such excessive corrosion may be more prevalent where a vehicle is regularly operated in regions where road de-icing salt is frequently used during the winter season. Although a certain amount of corrosion is expected to occur from everyday operation of the vehicle, excessive corrosion to the rear frame may result in frame stiffener perforation and, in extreme cases, cause the rear-trailing arm to separate from the vehicle’s frame structure. A separated rear-trailing arm may cause the vehicle to be difficult to control, increasing the risk of a crash."Read more

The following is an email that I had sent to CSX Risk Management describing what happened with my vehicle on Friday, 2.25.2022. I suspect that a defective leaf spring could have contributed to my accident. This is the passenger side leaf spring. I say this because I had to replace the same leaf spring on a 2011 Nissan Xterra PRO-4X before. I now have a 2015. -- I went over the CSX Railroad Tracks
... on Three Oaks Road (Northbound, just before Old M-11) in Sawyer last night -- approximately 9:13PM EST. Upon going over the bumpy tracks, it caused my passenger rear wheel to be pushed back into wheel well. The tire was rubbing on the wheel well and it smelled like burning rubber. I'd stopped right away and saw white smoke from the tires. It's looks like the bumpy tracks caused the leaf spring to be damaged or out of place. I can't tell if there are any other damages. My car had to be towed, as it was not drivable. Chikaming Township Police assisted. The police officer, Sargeant Brandon Jones, and tow truck driver said that the bumpy tracks have been in need of repairs for maybe seven years! Why has the tracks not been repaired in such a long time?!! I wasn't the first casualty, and won't be the last. A police report was made. I have an incident # that I have attached to this email. And, a few pictures. More photos of the track will be included in the police report, as Sargeant Brandon Jones went to look at the tracks to investigate. My car was towed to my home in Benton Harbor, Michigan -- as there are no shops to take it to oven the weekend. It will then be towed again to a shop next week.
