All four tires are wearing unevenly. The outside of the tires are worn down much more than the middle and inside edge of tires. I noticed this six months ago, have called Toyota and brought the truck to the dealership and they stated there is no issue. I had the exact same Make/Model/Trim (3rd Generation Tundra TRD Pro) from 2022, and the tires wore out in the exact same manner. A safety rec
... all was issued for this and all four tires were replaced and the alignment was adjusted to a "new standard" because it was determined that on this trim level, the original factory alignment was incorrect. This issue still hasn't been resolved as it is happening the exact same on the 2025 as it did on previous model years of the same trim. Toyota and dealership both refuse to even consider that this may be the same issue requiring a recall and replacement of tires and proper alignment. An internet search and an NHTSA search on this issue shows multiple instances of this complaint and nothing has been done to rectify.Read more

Vehicle experienced front suspension lateral link failure. The links separated from the sub-frame due to improperly secured fasteners. This is the exact defect described in existing recall SB-21-31-003 / NHTSA Campaign 21V835000. The existing recall states 'front suspension lateral link fasteners may loosen, allowing the lateral link to separate from the sub-frame.' This vehicle has this identica
... l manufacturing defect but was not included in the recall database. Tesla Service confirmed the links 'fell out' and separated from the sub-frame at approximately 65,000 miles. Technician notes indicate a 'speed mismatch between wheel and motor' caused by the link separation - this is the symptom of the underlying fastener defect. The failure resulted in loss of steering control and made the vehicle undriveable (VOR - Vehicle Off Road). This is a safety-critical manufacturing defect affecting front suspension, creating crash risk due to sudden loss of vehicle stability and control. Owner is being charged for repair of a known manufacturing defect that should have been covered under the existing recall. This suggests the recall scope was too narrow and did not capture all affected vehicles with this defect. Request investigation into whether recall should be expanded to include additional affected vehicles.Read more

A bolt securing the rear subframe assembly is loose and missing its nut. This condition has caused damage to the rear subframe assembly, which now requires replacement. The vehicle was inspected by a licensed dealer who confirmed on video that no impact damage, scraping, bending, or collision damage is present on any surrounding components. The only affected area is the bolt and nut connection poi
... nt. The dealer's professional assessment is that this is consistent with a factory assembly defect — either the nut was never installed or was not properly torqued during manufacturing. No routine service or alignment would require access to this fastener. Tesla's service records for this VIN should confirm no prior work has been performed in this area, meaning the fastener has not been touched since the vehicle left the factory. Factory-installed suspension bolts of this type are typically secured with a locking mechanism or thread locker; a properly installed nut does not detach through normal vehicle operation. This constitutes a safety defect. A rear subframe fastener that was not properly secured at the factory could lead to suspension component failure, loss of vehicle control, and a serious accident. Tesla's service center has denied warranty coverage for this repair despite the vehicle being within its warranty period, citing that "a manufacturing defect would have presented itself earlier" and that because I am not the original owner, they "don't know what might have happened." Tesla quoted $2,812.49 to replace the damaged rear subframe assembly.Read more

Safety Concern – Steering Instability / Death Wobble – 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara To Whom It May Concern, I own a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with approximately 30,000 miles. I am writing to formally document and request a resolution for a recurring and severe steering instability commonly referred to as “death wobble.” The vehicle experiences violent front-end oscillation after encounterin
... g normal road conditions (e.g., highway speeds and minor road irregularities). This condition poses a significant safety risk to me, passengers, and other drivers. This issue has been widely documented in Jeep Wrangler models and addressed in various Technical Service Bulletins concerning steering dampers, ball joints, track bars, and front suspension components. Given the known history of this condition in Jeep vehicles, I am requesting: A full diagnostic inspection of all steering and suspension components. Confirmation of any applicable Technical Service Bulletins. Repair or replacement of defective components at no cost. Written documentation of findings and repairs. This vehicle has been properly maintained and has low mileage for its model year. A violent steering oscillation at highway speed is not normal wear and tear — it is a safety defect. If this issue cannot be resolved under warranty or goodwill assistance, I will pursue escalation through Stellantis Customer Care, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and applicable consumer protection or lemon law provisions. I am requesting written confirmation of how this matter will be addressed. Sincerely, Cindy Rossbach 29872 Milby Drive Easton, MD 21601 410-829-2098 [email protected] VIN: 1C4HJXENOMW771106Read more

On February/12/2026 I was slowing down normally in a 25mph zone to stop at a red light and just before the moment that my vehicle actually came to a stop I heard a loud breaking sound coming from the front and I felt my vehicle's nose dip down on the passenger side. It was obvious that something major broke so I did not proceed or attempt to drive from that point. I turned on my 4 way flashers and
... a few angry drivers at the same light expressed their displeasure with me for not proceeding when the light turned green by using finger signals as they drove around me. One passerby in the lane to my right told me that my wheel had come off! The police showed up a few minutes later and they called for a recovery truck. While waiting for the tow truck my husband arrived and he looked at the damage. The damage was an obvious failure of a major suspension / steering component as you could see that the top part of the steering knuckle had broken away from the suspension and the tire was laying out at a 45+ degree angle. Also while waiting for the tow truck I looked up to see if there are any recalls on my vehicle was horrified to learn that there is a major recall for the steering knuckle on my car. I have not received a recall letter or a notification about this serious safety issue which is almost as scary as the thought of this failure happening at highway speeds! After dragging my vehicle on to the flatbed I had the driver tow my vehicle directly to the dealership where I purchased my vehicle when new. >Front passenger steering knuckle break away failure. My vehicle is not repaired at this time so it is available for inspection at the dealership of origin. >Everyone on the road including myself was at risk if this failure happened at normal highway speed because my car would have been uncontrollable! >Has not been inspected at this time as this just happened. >There were no symptoms, drive-ability issues, or warning lights or any indication until the moment of failure!Read more

I am submitting this complaint regarding a recurring safety defect in my 2024 Honda Prologue (VIN: [XXX] ), serviced at AutoNation Honda Chandler in Chandler, Arizona. Most recent service reference: Invoice #XXX. The vehicle has experienced a repeated knocking noise coming from the right front wheel area, particularly when turning right or left at low speeds with the steering wheel fully turned.
... The dealership diagnosed the issue as a failure of the front wheel drive half shaft (outboard passenger axle) and replaced the component. This same part has now failed three times. Despite multiple repairs and part replacements, the problem continues to return. The front axle/half shaft is a critical drivetrain component, and failure of this part can affect steering control and vehicle stability, especially during turning. Between all service visits, my vehicle has been at the dealership for nearly one month in total. Most recently, my third appointment was canceled, and I was informed that there is currently no solution available for this issue. I am extremely concerned about the safety of operating this vehicle due to the repeated failure of the same drivetrain component and the lack of a permanent repair. This ongoing situation has caused significant stress and raises serious safety concerns. Safety Complaint: Suspension Failure Following Major Axle Rebuild In June 2025, my Jeep Gladiator underwent an invasive rear differential rebuild under TSB 03-002-24 at AutoNation. On February 5, 2026, a Shop Foreman at Gillman Jeep identified a catastrophic failure of the rear stabi

These safety-critical components went from "Certified Safe" to "Failed" in only 6 months/12,000 miles following the axle rebuild. The Safety Risk: The failed stabilizer links and shocks have compromised the vehicle's stability and handling. This is a documented Workmanship Failure (likely due to improper torque at ride height/bushing bind during the June TSB repair). The Manufacturer Response: Jeep Corporate Case Management (Case #95545827) is currently refusing to authorize safety repairs under the 24-Month Mopar National Warranty, citing internal dealership billing issues. Front suspension ball joint failure occurred while driving approximately 70 mph on an interstate highway, resulting in sudden loss of vehicle control and requiring immediate emergency response. The vehicle is a 2023 Audi e-tron A5. Two weeks prior to the sudden failure, an Audi dealership inspected the same front corner of the vehicle following earlier damage and stated that the front suspension
... and wheel components were safe and the vehicle was fit to drive, replaced the rear right tire and recommended replacing the rear wheel housing after not being able to get the full car alignment to spec. I told them I wanted to defer that service until later in February unless it was catastrophic when we discussed the findings. They told me that the car was safe to drive and proceeded with the wheel alignment and replacement on the rear. The ball joint failure was catastrophic and presents a serious safety concern, particularly given the recent dealer inspection and the short time between inspection and failure. Warranty coverage was later denied by the dealership, despite having just inspected the car for damage and claimed that the failure of the front ball joint was caused by deferring the rear wheel housing service. I am submitting this complaint due to the safety implications of a suspension component failure at highway speed and concern that the defect may have existed and should have been detected during the prior inspection.Read more
