My 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV went into the dealership for routine maintenance and several software updates were applied to vehicle along with an oil and filter change on 17 February. The software took multiple times to load and I took the vehicle home on 20 February. Later that day after picking up my children from school an error popped up on the dash that stated Service Leveling System and Ve
... hicle Too Low Drive with Caution. Shortly after on the way home the ride height system made a crunching noise after I parked and got out of the vehicle to get gas. It felt like something mechanical wasn't working in the suspension. I dropped it back off at the dealership Monday 23 February. I picked up the vehicle later that day and the same error popped up again. We then gave it back to the dealership on the 24th of February to resolve and they kept if for over a week and were unable to determine root cause of the issue as of 2 March. The error code was reset by the dealership and was told to notify them again if it happens a third time. I believe there is a software issue that is causing problems with the adaptive air ride suspension.Read more

Two months and 3k miles into lease ownership of my 2025 Honda Prologue, the front suspension began making a loud creaking noise. The noise is most pronounced under acceleration and while turning, but also occurs over bumps and uneven road surfaces. It has progressively worsened over time. I brought the vehicle to my Honda dealership for diagnosis. The service department acknowledged the noise bu
... t returned the vehicle unfixed, stating Honda is "aware of the issue" and that it is "under investigation." They also stated it is "not safety related." No repair was performed. This appears to be a widespread defect affecting the 2024 Honda Prologue. Online forums, owner groups, and existing NHTSA complaints describe the same symptoms — creaking and clicking from the front suspension and CV axles, often appearing within the first few hundred to few thousand miles. Multiple owners report that even after axle replacements, the noise returns or is not resolved. Replacement parts have also been reported as backordered for extended periods. I am concerned this is a safety issue. A failing CV axle or compromised front suspension component could result in loss of vehicle control, particularly at highway speeds. The manufacturer's position that this is not safety related is inconsistent with the nature of the components involved. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this defect and that Honda issue a formal recall or technical service bulletin with an effective, permanent repair.Read more

The vibration occurs consistently above approximately 40 mph and becomes more pronounced at highway speeds. It is felt in: • Gas pedal • Underbody near shifter • Steering wheel • Seat Despite numerous repair attempts and replacement of major drivetrain components, the vibration has not been permanently resolved. Truck keeps throwing road force on brand new tires as well. Repairs a
... nd attempts have included: • Tire pressure corrections • Multiple tire balances and road force balancing • Replacement of all four tires • Subsequent rebalancing of the replacement tires after road force values continued to fluctuate • Additional tire replacement when road force variation repeatedly returned despite proper balancing • Replacement of both front hubs • Replacement of both front axles • Replacement of front steering knuckles • Replacement of front differential ring and pinion bearing kit • Replacement of right front axle • Replacement of transfer case • Replacement of front driveshaft • Diagnostic tire swapping from another vehicle for comparison At one point, test tires from another truck were installed to isolate the concern, which resulted in the vibration spreading further into the steering wheel and seat. The issue affects drivability and confidence in the vehicle at highway speeds. Current visit beginning January 7, 2026: Vehicle has remained at the dealership continuously with no return to me and no confirmed repair completion (now exceeding 40 consecutive days). The cumulative days out of service significantly exceed 30 days. Despite substantial drivetrain component replacement, the vibration concern persists. The persistent vibration affects normal use, drivability, and confidence in the vehicle at highway speeds. Persistent drivetrain vibration at highway speeds raises safety concerns. Repeated axle, differential, transfer case, and driveshaft replacements indicate unresolved mechanical instability.Read more

Wednesday (02/18/2026), while driving to work, the vehicle stalled in the middle of the road at a red light. It would not move at all. I had to call roadside assistance, and the vehicle was ultimately towed. Being stranded in the middle of an intersection with traffic approaching at speed was not only humiliating — it was life-threatening. Vehicles were coming from behind, and I narrowly avoided
... what could have been a serious accident. Suddenly, my dashboard started showing all sorts or error and warning message. It showed ESC (Electronic Stability Control) error, Hill start assist error, Maneuver braking function currently not available, error start/stop, Rear traffic alert is currently not available, Transmission error etc. To make matters worse, the tow truck took approximately 1.5 hours to arrive, leaving me exposed at a busy junction the entire time. This incident caused significant mental distress and professional consequences, as I was unable to reach my office and had to formally explain my absence with supporting documentation. This level of unreliability from a new vehicle is simply unacceptable. It has not even been a year since I purchased this vehicle, and I have experienced repeated issues from the very beginning. This situation is extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable for a brand-new vehicle. Beyond these serious safety incidents, I have faced ongoing issues with the infotainment system since purchase. I was repeatedly told it was a software issue and that it had been fixed, yet the problem continues to persist.Read more

One only needs to google or ask an AI about "Tesla Model Y Juniper" front end suspension noises and you will find links to hundreds of complaints and at least two YouTube videos now. Based on reports from recent 2026 Tesla Model Y owners, particularly those with the Juniper refresh, the front-end noises over rough or bumpy roads at very slow speeds sound like a widespread suspension-related issue
... . It's often characterized as a clunk, rattle, or knocking from the front suspension, especially when the suspension compresses and unloads over uneven surfaces like driveways, speed bumps, or minor road imperfections. Youtube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECerCsSdEeI&list=WL&index=3 For the rubbing-type noises when turning the wheels all the way left/right (full lock), this is another frequently reported quirk in Model Ys, though less tied specifically to 2026 builds. It often presents as a grinding, scraping, or creaking sound. I had scheduled an appointment with Tesla Service, however, there are a lot of cases where the Service Center provides a repair or is supposedly removing the Pencil Braces. Based on all the repairs I've read, 1. The issues still remain. 2. Service Center's don't really seem to know how to provide repairs to fix the issues, and it seems different Service Centers are providing different repairs (they don't really have a fix). 3. There are many cases where supposedly, Tesla Service Technician's are informing customers that Tesla is aware of this widespread issue and their engineers are supposedly working on a permanent solution. I currently don't see any reason to have a Tesla Service Center tear apart my brand-new Tesla, simply to provide a temporary solution. And, if Tesla engineers are indeed working on these issues, I would rather wait. Finally, I am filling this complaint to 1. Notify NHTSA if they're currently unaware of this issue and 2. To have a record of my complaint, if it turns out I need to utilize the Lemon Law or a buy back.Read more

... Honda has issued a "Tech Line Summary Article" on December 19, 2025, for the problem. Here are the details: The problem affects all trims of the 2024 - 2026 Honda Prologue. SYMPTOM: Customers may complain of a clicking or ratcheting type noise when turning. DIAGNOSIS: If you verify the noise and isolate it to the drive axles, inspect for any damage and repair as necessary. If you do not find any damage, do not attempt any repairs. TEMPORARY SOLUTION: Advise the customer that the clicking noise will not impact normal driving and the symptom is currently being investigated.Read more

The plastic covers such as the wheel wells, inner fender linings, under body shield, are very prone to coming off by either minor objects intruding them or hitting them such as branches, rocks, or even water and sand. While driving on a highway at the Upper Peninsula in Michigan on October, a large branch on the road got inside the front wheel well and it took it away. It flew into the highway as
... debris and cars began evading them. I had to replace it at my expense and it come off again while driving on sand on a beach in St. Augustine Florida on December (the car is 4x4 off-road capable and sold as such). The underbody shield began coming off in a highway in near Austin Texas around a construction zone where loose gravel was present. Almost all plastic clips were missing after I was informed by a driver that plastic parts were coming off my car striking his vehicle. The wheel well of the driver side also began to come off. I had to zip-tie it; no holes were damaged but it was fully scratch and cracked in multiple locations from touching the pavement. I was hit on the side of the rear of the passenger side door and the plastic cover came off. I replaced it but it seems those plastic parts are superimposed and not well secured into the body of the car and can come off fairly easily during driving becoming road hazards that can result in a crash to vehicles driving from behind or even people or animals. I had a Sonata and the same under shield came off while driving to Miami on December 2024, their service department only had it cut leaving the underbody exposed.Read more

The front lower lateral link (rearward lower control arm) fastener/bolt completely backed out and fell off the vehicle while in motion, causing the lateral link to separate entirely from the subframe. This is the exact mechanical failure described in Tesla Recall Campaign 23V-235 (Service Bulletin SB-23-31-001), however, my specific VIN was not included in that recall. The vehicle and components a
... re currently at an independent EV repair facility and are available for inspection upon request. Photographic evidence of the missing bolt and separated control arm has been retained. The separation of the lower lateral link caused an immediate and violent collapse of the front passenger-side suspension geometry. The affected wheel was no longer anchored to the vehicle frame, causing it to fold backward and grind heavily against the wheel well. To keep the vehicle moving straight, the steering wheel had to be turned to an extreme 45-degree angle. This resulted in a near-total loss of steering control. Had this fastener failed while traveling at highway speeds instead of low speeds, it would have resulted in an uncontrollable, catastrophic collision. Yes. The problem was physically confirmed and documented by an independent, EV-certified repair facility (EVFixMe/Shocker Motors in Costa Mesa, CA) once the vehicle was placed on a lift. The vehicle was physically inspected by an independent service center. The manufacturer (Tesla) was contacted via the Tesla App; however, they refused to perform a physical diagnosis without pre-authorization of a $2,600+ comprehensive suspension replacement estimate and stated the vehicle was out of warranty with no open recalls. There were no dashboard warning lamps, digital alerts, or error messages from the vehicle's computer system prior to the failure. The ride height sensor on the right front suspension is mounted to the upper control arm via a plastic bolt and bracket. This plastic mounting component failed under normal driving conditions. The failure caused the ride height sensor to malfunction, which directly affects the vehicle's air suspension system and its ability to maintain proper ride height and handling characteristics. When driving,
... I received multiple chassis height warning messages stating that the chassis was too high or too low or malfunctioning. The ride height sensor is a critical component of the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system. Its failure can result in: - Incorrect suspension height, affecting vehicle stability and handling - Suspension system faults that may trigger unexpected warning conditions while driving - Potential loss of driver control in the event of sudden sensor failure at highway speeds This failure is not isolated to my vehicle. A review of Porsche owner forums including Rennlist and 6SpeedOnline reveals similar plastic mount failures on the ride height sensor across multiple Porsche platforms, including the Cayenne, Macan, and Panamera. The fact that Porsche has since revised the replacement hardware from plastic to metal strongly implies the manufacturer is aware the original design was inadequate. However, no recall or Technical Service Bulletin has been issued to proactively notify owners or provide a remedy at no cost. When the plastic bolt and bracket failed on my vehicle, my dealership replaced it with the current Porsche-supplied metal replacement hardware because the plastic parts have been discontinued. However, the updated metal bolt and bracket are physically incompatible with the existing control arm, requiring the control arm to also be replaced. Owners who are unaware of this incompatibility may drive vehicles with an improperly secured or non-functional ride height sensor, increasing safety risk.Read more

Component/System: Braking System (Caliper Bolt) and Suspension (Control Arm/Linkage Bolt). Description of Incident: While traveling on a tollway at 70 mph, I heard a faint noise followed by a severe metallic scratching sound coming from the front driver-side wheel. Upon inspection at a tire service center, it was discovered that a brake caliper bolt had fallen out, causing the caliper to displace
... and score the inner rim of the wheel. The vehicle was towed to a Tesla Service Center, where the caliper and wheel were replaced under warranty. Tesla could not identify a root cause but stated they performed a quality check on all remaining wheels. Subsequently, a second failure occurred on the front passenger-side wheel. A different bolt—this time related to the suspension—loosened or fell out. The vehicle produced a severe grinding noise and felt unstable, as if the wheel was about to dislodge. Safety Risk: Both incidents posed an immediate risk of catastrophic mechanical failure at high speeds. A detached brake caliper can lead to total loss of braking or wheel lock-up, while a suspension bolt failure can cause a complete loss of steering control. Either scenario could have resulted in a high-speed collision, endangering my life and the lives of my two children. Confirmation/Inspection: • Confirmed by Dealer: Yes, Tesla Service Center performed repairs on both occasions. • Available for Inspection: The vehicle has been repaired, but service records and photos of the damage/missing bolts are available. • Other Inspections: Initial driver-side failure was visually confirmed by Discount Tire. Warning Signs: There were no dashboard warning lamps or messages. The only symptoms were a brief "pop" or "click" followed immediately by loud metal-on-metal grinding and vibration.Read more

I am filing this complaint regarding repeated premature strut failure on my 2022 Subaru Forester. The original set of struts failed at approximately 36,000 miles. The issue was not covered under warranty and required replacement. At approximately 60,000 miles, the replacement struts are again failing. This means two full sets of struts have failed before 100,000 miles, which is highly abnormal fo
... r a vehicle of this age and mileage. Premature strut failure affects vehicle stability, ride control, and braking performance. This raises safety concerns, particularly at highway speeds and during emergency maneuvers. Suspension components such as struts should not require replacement this frequently under normal driving conditions. Given the repeated nature of this issue, I believe this may represent a broader defect rather than normal wear and tear. I have seen many other 2022 Subaru Foresters have this same issue but have not heard of a recall to date. I am requesting that this matter be investigated for potential recall or technical service action.Read more

He told me it is a known issue on Tesla model 3 and model Y. I have set up a service appt to address the issue again. Of note, Tesla service centers refer to control arms as "links" which is very

The factory weld on the front end driver's side stabilizer was bad and it came apart on the highway while driving , from the severe shaking it caused, and it could've killed us. The weld was not hot enough to penetrate the steel. I am a mechanic so I can attest , and be a witness , to claim it was a certifiably bad weld in the factory, and this should warrant a recall.
