I am filing a complaint regarding an unresolved safety recall on my Land Rover vehicle that has remained unrepaired for over seven (7) months. The recall was issued in or around August 2025. Since that time, I have repeatedly attempted to have the recall repair completed through an authorized dealership, Jaguar Land Rover Buffalo. On March 6, 2026, at approximately 1:25 PM, I contacted the deale
... rship at (716) 831-3100 and spoke with a service representative. I was informed they are still “waiting on instructions from Land Rover” and are unable to perform the recall repair. As of today, more than seven months have passed since the recall notice, and no repair, interim remedy, or timeline has been provided. The dealership has not offered: •A temporary repair or mitigation •A loaner or alternative transportation •Any estimated timeframe for resolution This delay appears unreasonable under federal safety recall requirements and leaves a known safety defect uncorrected.afety Risk: The vehicle continues to be operated with an unresolved safety defect, increasing the risk of malfunction, accident, or injury.Read more

Vehicle “wobble” under moderate acceleration and in corners, can be felt in the seats and steering wheel.
Incident date: Mar 13, 2026
At ~20,300 miles, severe chassis and steering wheel vibration occurred during high-speed highway descents while braking. Safety risk: reduced steering control at highway speed. The vehicle was inspected by a franchised Chevrolet dealer in Lakewood, CO. The technician's written service notes document rear rotor Lateral Runout (LRO) of 0.006 inches against GM's maximum allowable specification of 0.
... 002 inches per GM Service Bulletin 00-05-22-002 — 3x the engineering limit. The defect was confirmed in dealer documentation and is available for inspection. After I identified this discrepancy, the Service Manager claimed the technician meant 0.006 mm (metric). Photographic evidence from the dealer's own diagnostic video shows a dial indicator clearly labeled in 0.001-inch increments with the needle resting on the 6th tick mark. A metric reading of 0.0002 inches is physically impossible to display as 6 full divisions on this tool. GM Customer Assistance denied the warranty claim, classifying it as maintenance. Lateral Runout is a geometric specification, not a wear measurement. A rotor 3x out of tolerance at 20,300 miles is a material or assembly defect. No warning lamps appeared. The safety concern remains unresolved.Read more

I am filing a complaint regarding a suspension defect on my new Tesla Model Y Juniper. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, I began hearing a distinct knocking / clunking noise coming from the suspension when driving over small road imperfections and at low speeds. The noise is clearly abnormal for a new vehicle and sounds like loose or defective suspension components. I brought the vehicle to
... a Tesla service center, but the issue has not been resolved. Despite inspection and attempted repairs, the knocking noise continues to occur. This raises serious concerns about the quality and safety of the suspension system. Based on information from other Tesla owners, this appears to be a recurring issue affecting multiple Model Y Juniper vehicles. A persistent suspension defect on a new vehicle may pose a safety risk and should be investigated. I request that NHTSA review this issue and investigate whether there is a manufacturing or design defect affecting the suspension system of the Tesla Model Y Juniper. Vehicle Information: Model: Tesla Model Y (Juniper refresh) 7SAYGDEE9TF559226 Issue: Knocking / clunking noise from suspension Condition: Occurs at low speed and over small road bumps Status: Tesla service attempted repair but the problem persists (left and right front upper control arm replaced) This problem should not exist on a brand-new vehicle and requires proper investigation.Read more

Vehicle: 2021 Range Rover Sport Component: Suspension – Dynamic Response / Active Roll Control System The vehicle experienced a failure of the Dynamic Response / Active Roll Control system, which is a hydraulic suspension stabilization system designed to reduce body roll and maintain vehicle stability during cornering and evasive maneuvers. Inspection by an authorized Land Rover service center
... confirmed that the failure was caused by severe corrosion and deterioration of the hydraulic lines supplying the Dynamic Response system. The corrosion caused hydraulic fluid leakage and a complete loss of hydraulic pressure, disabling the system. This failure occurred on a 2021 vehicle, and the amount of corrosion present on these hydraulic lines appears premature for a vehicle of this age. These lines are critical components of the vehicle’s stability system and would normally be expected to last significantly longer. When the Dynamic Response system loses hydraulic pressure, the vehicle loses an important stabilization function that helps control body roll and maintain handling stability. With the system disabled, the vehicle may experience increased body roll and reduced stability during higher-speed cornering or emergency maneuvers, which raises safety concerns. The issue was confirmed by the servicing Land Rover dealer. The dealer diagnosed hydraulic line corrosion and failure resulting in loss of system pressure. The repair is replacement of the front and rear hydraulic lines, refill and bleeding of the hydraulic system, and recalibration of the Dynamic Response system. The estimated repair cost is approximately $10,000. The vehicle is operated in New York State where winter road salt exposure is common. Hydraulic lines associated with a vehicle stability system should reasonably be expected to withstand normal environmental exposure, including road salt, for a longer period of time. Photographs, dealer report, repair estimate are available.Read more

On December 6, 2025 I purchased a used 2013 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG from Jaguar Land Rover Willow Grove (Piazza Auto Group) in Pennsylvania. The delivery documentation for the vehicle included a written service commitment stating: “Replace air compressor for suspension system.” On January 23, 2026 at approximately 6:30 PM, while operating the vehicle at highway speed on the [XXX] in [XXX] ,
... the vehicle experienced a sudden cooling system malfunction. An “Engine Overheat – Shut Off Engine” warning appeared on the instrument cluster and steam began emitting from the engine compartment. Because the failure occurred while traveling at highway speed, the driver was forced to execute an emergency maneuver across traffic lanes in order to reach the shoulder safely. The vehicle became disabled and required towing. The vehicle was transported to a Mercedes-Benz dealership for inspection. Initial repairs involved replacement of the coolant reservoir and hose assembly. Within several days the vehicle again displayed a low coolant warning and was returned for further inspection. At that time the radiator was found to contain a prior non-OEM epoxy repair and the radiator required replacement due to leakage. During a separate independent inspection, the air suspension compressor was observed to be mounted using plastic zip-tie fasteners rather than mechanical mounting hardware. The compressor is part of the vehicle’s AIRMATIC suspension system and is subject to vibration, pressure cycling, and heat during normal operation. Improper mounting of this component could allow the compressor assembly to move or detach during operation and may damage associated air lines or electrical connections. Because the air suspension system affects ride height and vehicle stability, this condition may present a safety risk during vehicle operation. Photographs and video documentation of the compressor mounting condition are available for inspection upon request. Vehicle: Lincoln MKZ 2013 Dealer: Auto Quest Inc. Description of the Safety Issue: I am submitting this report regarding a vehicle safety concern involving a 2013 Lincoln MKZ that I purchased from Auto Quest Inc. in Renton, Washington. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, within the first few days of ownership, the vehicle began experiencing significant mechanical problems including transmissi
... on issues and persistent brake noise that required multiple repair attempts. These problems appeared almost immediately after the purchase, which raises concerns that the vehicle may have had pre-existing mechanical or safety-related defects that were not disclosed at the time of sale. Since purchasing the vehicle I have had to spend thousands of dollars on repairs in order to keep the vehicle operational. Despite these repairs, the brake system has continued to produce abnormal noise and the vehicle has experienced ongoing mechanical issues. These types of issues may represent potential safety risks to drivers and passengers if the braking system or transmission were to fail while the vehicle is in operation. I am reporting this issue so that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration can evaluate whether this may represent a broader safety defect affecting this vehicle model or vehicles sold under similar circumstances.Read more

I own a 2022 Grand Design Solitude 346FLS fifth wheel trailer. The trailer has been at the dealership for over nine months after structural frame cracks and weld separations were discovered during inspection. The cracks appear in structural frame components and welded areas supporting the chassis. This raises concerns about the integrity of the trailer frame during towing and braking. In addition
... to the frame defects, all four leaf springs in the suspension system have failed or lost structural integrity. This suspension failure presents a safety risk because it affects axle alignment, load support, and trailer stability while towing. The trailer manufacturer (Grand Design) and dealer have been notified, but the unit has remained out of service for an extended period while the manufacturer decides how to address the problem. Structural frame cracking combined with suspension failure represents a serious safety concern for a towable RV traveling at highway speeds. I am submitting this complaint so the issue can be investigated for potential defects affecting other trailers of this model or similar models.Read more

I am filing a complaint regarding an unresolved safety recall affecting my 2016 Range Rover Sport TDV6, VIN: [XXX] . This vehicle is subject to Recall D019 (NHTSA Recall 25V-514). Despite the recall being issued, I have contacted the dealership multiple times and have repeatedly been told that the remedy or required parts are not yet available. There has been no clear timeline provided for when th
... e repair will be available. Both the front and rear components associated with this recall on my vehicle appear visibly defective and concerning. This creates a significant safety concern for me as the operator of the vehicle. I rely on this vehicle daily and should not be forced to continue driving a vehicle with known defective safety-related components while waiting indefinitely for the manufacturer to supply parts. A safety recall should include a prompt and effective remedy. The ongoing delay in making repair parts available places vehicle owners and the public at risk and undermines the purpose of issuing a safety recall. I respectfully request that this matter be investigated and that the manufacturer be required to provide a timely repair remedy. Owners should not be left operating vehicles with known safety defects due to delays in recall implementation.
