My vehicle began to lose acceleration while driving on a busy highway in NJ. I was able to get off the road and proceeded to drive on side streets. I was temporarily unable to move after stopping at stop sign. Eventually I was able to get the vehicle home. I brought my car to my mechanic. It was established that is was the transmission (CVT). It needed to be replaced.

I was driving down the interstate when the top trim panel of my grille flew off my truck. The piece flew into the traffic behind me, and fortunately, no one was injured. If there was a motorcycle behind me, the rider could have been severely injured or killed. The piece that flew off is located just above the grille and below the front edge of the hood. We purchased a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner from a used car lot in Omaha NE. We have had it for 3 months and recently had a mechanic look over the vehicle for repairs. The mechanic indicated the frame is rusted through and the truck is unsafe to drive. The mechanic indicated that there was a recall on the frames possibly, so we followed up with Toyota. Toyota told me that there is no frame recall,
... but instead they did a "Customer Support Program" in relation to the frame, but it had expired. Toyota told us there is nothing they can do for us. My concern is that Toyota has a known issue, a safety issue, concerning their vehicles but will not rectify it. I would like Toyota to be held liable for their substandard product, no matter how long it has been. A quick Google search about Toyota and recalls is that they are not good at reporting them to you, or their service centers are not good at making sure all recalls are taken care of, and I feel that this is something that needs to be investigated - and in my case, rectified.Read more

On October 31, 2020, I pulled up to the grocery store and my sunroof opened by itself. I realize it was not closing so too fast forward I found out that leaks from my sunroof had messed up my electrical wiring in my roof or filling on my car so it causes the sunroof electrical parts to stop working. Every time it rain, heavy or consistently I had a puddle of water in my front passenger seat. I’v
... e been able to get my sunroof closed and that hasn’t been an issue opening back up, but it does not work at this time after getting it fixed, but also I was nervous about opening it up in case it would not close because it wasn’t cheap to repair it. Now that I am living somewhere that it rains more often I am continuously getting leaks in my door frame, and it comes through my seatbelt or in my trunk. It leaks through the seatbelt or the ceiling of the back trunk. When I first had this problem, I googled it and I realize other people were having issues with the 2011 or 20 1244 and at this point I feel like it is poor construction when it comes to Feeling of the vehicle. I’m not sure how many people have reached out to discuss this but at this point is more of an issue because I am somewhere that rains a lot and I do not have anything to cover my car. If anything I wanted to still reach out to get the information out there Because I know a lot of them do have Ford Explorer. If is this something that is an issue for other people I wanted to at least be someone else to report this issue. None of these issues were due to me buying a car and this is something that was not provided when I bought the car. I am pretty sure every time it rain when I lived in IN, they had to clean out the puddle of water in passenger front floor. Although I know this is also error on dealership and I can take accountability that I was naive with buying car process I still feel like it’s something that needs to be fixed manufacturer problem as many people have had this issue.Read more

Paint started peeling on the side mirrors, door handles within the last year and seems to have progressed really quickly. The way I can best describe it is my vehicle falling apart, either due to cheap parts. Or poorly being put together. I was driving down the highway at about 65 miles an hour, when suddenly I hear something smack what seemed to be my headlight, then again snack into my drivers side mirror. I had not seen anything on the road previous to this or anything in the air so it seemed strange to have “h

I then discovered I hadn’t hit anything, a piece of the fascia of my truck had blown off in the wind, which was the first sound I heard, then proceeded to impact my drivers side mirror. I purchased a 2022 Keystone Alpine 3720MD fifth wheel RV from Bish's RV in Anderson, Indiana (Modern Trailer Sales at the time) in February of 2023. Over the past 7 months, that crack has con

I am very concerned about the structural integrity of the underlying frame of the RV as I have read about many other owners of Keystone Alpines experiencing "frame flex" problems with their 2022 RV's. I have submitted pictures of the problem to Bish's RV and took it to them for an inspection on [XXX]. After the inspection, they acknowledged it was a frame flex issue and said they would be submitting it to Keystone for warranty coverage. However, I have not been able to speak with Bish's RV since then, even though I have called repeatedly. They do not answer their phones in the service department and do not return messages. A large part of the grill on the front of my truck but broke off on it's own while I was driving. The part is called the Upper Grill Molding Part number 20863. I had several safety concerns regarding the 2024 Jeep Wrangler that I purchased and subsequently traded in after only 31 days due to multiple issues that I believe may compromise vehicle safety. Upon purchasing the vehicle, I noticed that the front inner splash guards were loose. After the dealership, Tyson’s Motors in Shorewood, IL, replaced both splash guards, I discovered that the front left
... splash guard had plugs that fell out, exposing critical hoses underneath. This issue raised immediate concerns about the potential for damage to these hoses and the vehicle's overall safety. In addition to the splash guard issue, I experienced further safety concerns, including screws from the inside speakers located between the front and rear seats falling off while driving, as well as a loose headlight pin. These problems not only posed a risk to my safety but also created an environment of uncertainty regarding the overall reliability of the vehicle. Due to these ongoing issues, I felt it necessary to trade in the Wrangler for an identical model, as I believed the original vehicle was possibly faulty. Unfortunately, the replacement vehicle caused me injury just two days later, which I have also reported to the NHTSA, dealership and Jeep. I believe these issues warrant serious attention and investigation to prevent potential safety hazards for other drivers, passengers, and those driving on the road.Read more

1)BODY- The body of the vehicle (paint) seems to be chipping and/or rusting at an increasingly rapid rate with no known causes. This rusting is causing the value of the car to plummet as I am trying to sell the vehicle. It first appeared in about 2019 and has been getting steadily worse without any way to stop it. 2) SUSPENSION- On every single Toyota I’ve owned (4) the struts wore very quickl

If a strut goes while driving it can cause major safety issues for the driver. 3)WHEELS- The hubcaps more specifically speaking, on every Toyota I’ve owned, have also had an issue maintaining its hubcaps. One rolled off on the highway and nearly caused me to crash as it hit the side of my car and slid under the rear tires and made me slide all over the snowy highway. Luckily there weren’t many vehicles on the road or it could’ve been catastrophic. I also notice that the light for the tire pressure never turns off either. I was approaching my car and used my keyfob to open the trunk. As it was opening, I was thankfully facing away from the trunk when the rod from the right tailgate lift support flew off, hitting me in my shoulder blade. It sounded like a gunshot. While there was no puncture, due to my thick t shirt and the rod hitting the bone of my right shoulder blade, the pain was severe. Before I realized it wa

Had it hit my eye, I indubitably would have lost that eye or my eyesight. There was no warning. I have never experienced anything out of the ordinary with my trunk door or the mechanisms to lift it. This easily could've severely injured me or someone else, or damaged property significantly. Upon inspection visually, the non-threaded end of the rod appears to have snapped off. I am contacting you on behalf of my uncle in regards to this. He noticed that my cab and truck bed was separating, so they made an appointment for the dealership that he purchased it from. It was then brought to their collision shop and after further inspection, he was told that it was in fact a manufacturer’s defect and they could not help him. He was told to take it home and just weld it himse
... lf. He did purchase a warranty and apparently it expired I believe this past December. Chrysler Cares and Ram Cares were both called and both have said they could not help. Given the year of the vehicle and the issue we are rather confused on how this happened and how/why this is not a covered repair. Clearly this is a manufacturer defect. Furthermore, how is this safe to drive? Clearly both can detach while driving and cause a catastrophic accident resulting in fatalities. Who is then responsible? The dealership for turning away a blind eye, Ram, Stellantis, Chrysler Cares because they were made away and chose to not help and the same with Ram Cares? All of this could result in lawsuits. He feels unsafe driving this now, sadly he is now stuck with this vehicle as he is still paying this vehicle off. This is an issue that needs to be resolved immediately as the safety risks it brings. That’s all he wants is for it to be fixed PROPERLY and not out of his pocket or for it to done as Goodwill. It should not be a Goodwill program as Ram Cares suggested. This is a manufacturing defect and proper ownership and repairs need to happen. The vehicle is still at Rouen in Woodville, Ohio and at this moment it has 32,663 miles. So there’s not a lot of miles on this vehicle for this to have happened. I used my best judgement on miles when brought in and I’m not sure when the issue was first noticed.
