The entire bumper assembly fell off my Tesla Model 3 during the heavy rains on December 24. I didn't see it happen. It was just missing. But it may have happened on the freeway, when we drive through a flooded area. There is a history of this happening with this model when there is a lot of rain or you drive through a puddle. My 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LT (new vehicle, low mileage) has a persistent water intrusion/leak into the cab interior. Water appears at the top of the headliner/ceiling, specifically around the overhead console where the HomeLink garage door opener buttons and map lights are located. This occurs after rain events, heavy precipitation, and results in visible wetness, dripping, and staining o
... n the headliner fabric in the front overhead area. The leak is repeatable under wet conditions. It strongly suggests entry through the roof-mounted shark fin antenna (OnStar/XM/GPS antenna) seal or possibly the windshield-to-roof junction, as water migrates forward along the headliner to the overhead console area. This is a known issue pattern in prior GM trucks (e.g., 2014–2019 models with TSBs for shark fin antenna leaks causing headliner/overhead console drips), though not yet documented as widespread on the 2025 HD models. I took the vehicle to an authorized Chevrolet dealer for diagnosis and repair under warranty. The dealer performed an inspection but stated they could not replicate the leak during their test and therefore declined to perform any repairs, noting “unable to duplicate” on the repair order. Despite the waterline in the headliner and explaining the conditions (e.g., after heavy rain), no further action was taken. The issue continues to recur.Read more

I am reporting a safety issue with my vehicle’s electronic door locking system. Vehicle: 2022 Kia Telluride SX Prestige with Nightfall Edition Issue: The door locks randomly unlock on their own multiple times without any input. This behavior happens specifically when the child safety lock is enabled. While driving or after locking the vehicle, the locks will unexpectedly unlock, creating a ser
... ious safety and security concern. Safety Concern: This issue poses a risk to passengers, especially children, because doors may unlock unexpectedly while the vehicle is in motion. It also creates a security risk when the vehicle is parked, as the car cannot be reliably kept locked. Additional Notes: I have seen multiple similar complaints from other Telluride owners reporting the same behavior. This appears to be a recurring defect rather than an isolated incident. I am requesting that this issue be investigated for a potential defect and safety recall.Read more

1. On several occasions while braking over uneven surfaces, the vehicle would not come to a complete stop, the brake pedals and steering wheel shook violently, and the vehicle continued to propel forward although I had the brakes engaged. This almost caused me to collide with other vehicles. The dealership could not replicate the issue and said it was a normal response. No, that is wrong; This is
... abnormal and dangerous. But at any rate, there was a safety recall recently to address the same issue that I have been complaining about so I hope it fixes the problem 2. Also, the paint on the roof rails and the door handles are flaking off. The coating and paint on the roof rails is splotchy, rough, and uneven, and the door handles continue to peel horribly. The dealership said corporate and parts denied my warranty request deeming the issue as normal wear and tear when the dealership said it was a paint and workmanship defect. No new vehicle should be losing its paint like this. Me simply opening a door and driving a car should not cause handles and roof rails to peel. It id getting worse. Also in conducting research on the issue, it is found to be a problem others have complained about as well. I have filed several complaints and claims in attempt to get my truck fixed.Read more

The trunk handle and latch malfunctioned, due to "internal part failure" (cited by dealership diagnostic). Each time I locked or unlocked my car, the trunk latch would repeatedly make noise as if trying to unlock/lock but it was jammed. After multiple click noises, the trunk would then sporadically pop open while driving, causing me to have to pull over and force it shut again. This created a safe
... ty concern as it would pop open while driving. There was no consistency on when this would happen either, making it unsafe to drive not knowing if it would suddenly pop. I brought it to the local Hyundai dealership who looked at it and recommended a full trunk latch and handle replacement. They cited that it was an "internal part failure," however since my model of car did not have a recall out yet for trunk latches (other Hyundai models currently do), it was not covered (costing $1,162). There were no warning lights or messages. The first trunk latch jam happened on November 30th when putting stuff in my trunk. The repeated clicking and trunk popping then occurred December 7th. After that, the clicking and jamming occurred every day, each time I locked or unlocked my car. It got progressively worse with increased trunk pops while driving. I brought it to the dealership on December 10th for diagnostic assessment.Read more

My vehicle was serviced at an authorized VW dealer on Dec 12 for recall-related work & a diagnostic water test (fee waived; $0 paid). Before leaving the dealership, while still on property, I observed extensive interior damage not present prior to service: widespread staining/saturation of headliner, sunroof shade, interior pillars (A–D), plus damage to interior trim. Substance was not colorless
... or odorless; damage was systemic, not localized. I documented immediately w/ photos taken on dealership property. I requested help/loaner; denied; required to take vehicle. After leaving, additional wet areas appeared & later dried w/ visible staining, indicating prolonged saturation following service. Dealer service documentation states rear sunroof drains were leaking; however damage was present throughout interior, including areas inconsistent w/ a rear-only drain issue. Based on the location (headliner + pillars), this raises concern for potential impact to electrical components/wiring & airbag-related areas, plus latent issues due to moisture/chemical exposure. I requested confirmation of procedures/substances used during testing; info not provided. I requested a garage liability claim; declined. Dealer offered cleaning & later proposed replacing only the headliner. This issue occurred during recall-related service, raising concern about whether OEM-approved procedures were followed during diagnostic testing. The dealer declined to confirm what liquids or methods were used. Because the damage pattern contradicts the stated diagnosis, any repair based on that diagnosis would be incomplete, potentially allowing continued intrusion or latent electrical or airbag-related issues to develop over time. The vehicle was returned to me in this condition without corrective action, leaving the potential safety and electrical risks unresolved following recall-related service. No independent post-service inspection was offered to verify system integrity.Read more

Severe recurring roof water intrusion on 2022 GMC HUMMER EV; repeated failed repairs; interior rust/corrosion; safety concerns in high‑voltage EV. Vehicle: 2022 GMC HUMMER EV Edition 1
VIN: [XXX] Current mileage: ~12,000 miles
My vehicle has a recurring defect involving severe water intrusion into the cabin through/around the removable roof panels/roof sealing areas during rain. Desp
... ite repeated dealership repair attempts, the vehicle continues to leak. The ongoing water intrusion has caused visible corrosion (rust) on interior metal structures, including the floor area and seat rails/seat mounting areas. The corrosion indicates prolonged moisture exposure inside the cabin. The dealership has attempted to repair this water intrusion issue approximately six (6) separate times, and the defect remains unresolved. First documented repair attempt: 03/14/2023 (issue presented to dealership for correction) Most recent repair attempt/out-of-service: 12/29/2025 to 01/06/2026
The vehicle has spent weeks at the dealership across these attempts, including time waiting for parts and work completion. Even after these repairs, the vehicle is still leaking and the corrosion is still present.
Because this is a high‑voltage electric vehicle, I am concerned that water ingress and corrosion are compromising electrical wiring/connectors and safety systems located in/near the cabin floor and seat areas (including areas where sensors and connectors may be present). I am concerned this could increase the risk of electrical short, malfunction of safety systems (including airbag sensors), and in a worst case scenario a fire risk if moisture reaches sensitive electrical components. I can provide photos/videos of active water intrusion and corrosion and all repair orders upon request.
