My paint has been chipping really bad. Also I had a few recalls taken care of at modesto Kia once I got my vehicle back and drove it back home (about an hour and a half away) I started smelling something burning, I looked under the hood and couldn't find anything wrong so then a few days later I smelled the same thing but this time I heard a loud pop I got out and noticed my fog light had shattere
... d, and the housing is completely burned. So now my fog lights won't work and I have to make sure the fog lights are turned off because I don't want there to be power going to the loose wires, the head lights get extremely hot to the touch the fog light got so hot it burned a hole through the bumper. Then about two weeks ago the airbag light turned on and it won't turn off, I did some research and found out that when the air bag light is on there is a huge chance the airbags won't deploy. I have a baby so I really hope that isn't the case, because if a hair on his head gets harmed because of Kia I will be suing.Read more

This car was taken to a local Mercedes Benz dealership for repairs. Upon inspection, the dealer ship stated that the rear subframe was rusted on the vehicle and it was not safe to drive. I called Mercedes Benz to ask about this problem and their customer service representative immediately asked if this was the rear subfram

We went to an independent service shop for a second opinion and they also stated that they had made this repair on this model of car. We have a strong suspicion that Mercedes is aware of this problem and has done nothing with it.Read more

The SUV frame rails are prematurely rusted completely through from within the frame rails at a minimum of four know locations while other areas of the frame still appears solid (a further deeper inspection will be performed and repairs will be made after documenting the rust failures). The Tire Pressure Monitoring System module failed which also disabled the key fob remotes. I had the TPMS module replaced 3 times. The first occurrence was on August 26th 2021 and was confirmed by the dealership Subaru Service Center. During the failure and malfunction of the module, the dashboard warned about not to drive because there is problems with the tires and key fob not working. This worr
... ied me because of the potential safety to me and others if I continued to drive with defective tires. Eventually I found out my tires did not have any problems. After the module malfunctioned the second time, the service center replaced it stating that the first module was defective. Several months passed by and the module failed the third time. I started to research online and found that other Subaru owners experienced similar issues and figured out that water such as from heavy rain leaked through the roof railing gasket into the area where the TPMS module is kept and shorted out. When I went in to the service center the third time, I explained my investigation and eventually the associate agreed that was the cause. I think without me telling them this, they would have just replaced the module stating another defective unit. This discovery had them not only replace the TPMS module, reprogram my key fobs but also replace the roof railings and it's gasket which they made me pay $960.43.Read more

Hello We took the RV on our trip in Nov 2021 and noticed cold air entering the cabin near the driver and passenger feet. After pulling the 45degress trim that covers sits between the floor and wall I noticed that is a gap and I could see the road. Upon further investigation it looks like the side wall has separated from the floor of RV. Upon further research, it appears the entire length of the s
... idewalls of the RV is attached to the floor using 3&1/2 inch machine screws. In my case those screws had sheared off. That essentially means the side walls on both sides are coming off loose from the bottom. I am shocked that THOR would make such a shoddy design. The gaps between the floor and side wall exposes the entire coach to outside air and makes passengers venerable to exhaust fumes from the generator, especially when travelling at highway speeds as there is considerable low pressure in side the cabin. I am afraid the whole structure of the RV above the floor is at risk of a catastrophic failure. This is a 26000 LB Class RV and the way side walls are attached to the floor and to the chassis with these flimsy screws that are simply drilled into the L-bracket of the floor does not seem like a design that can withstand the stresses put on it. Thor has refused to fix this issue. I urge you to kindly investigate this issue as it probably affects all there Class A RVs. Please reach out to me at [XXX] or [XXX]. I have pictures and videos of the issue but not right now. INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).Read more

I have has consistent problems with the braking system. It will brake and/or show the warning when nothing is there. The jerking of this has caused me to get in an accident June 2020 while moving to a new duty station. It was raining and there were no other cars on this highway thankfully. It was scary and I was even going below the speed limit. This caused my car to become nearly uncontrollable.
... My children and I were fortunately unharmed, but pretty shaken up. I had everything repaired and the same thing still happens to this day. That was only about 3 months after I purchased my car. I hear a lot of rattling as if something has come undone inside. Many times when I am driving I can feel the car jerk to a certain side or forward. That issue almost caused another accident in Feb 2021. I was backing out of a parking spot with plenty of room between myself and the other cars. My braking warning came on and it stopped my car. Then immediately it jerked back aggressively and almost hit a car behind me. Soon after I managed to back out and shift into drive, it jerked forward while stopping then jerking again. Although it is not all of the time, it has happened enough to cause accidents and almost a lot more. I think the 2019 Honda Passport should be looked into more and corrected. As these issues should not be happening.Read more
