Door handle is supposed to pop out to open the door. This is the 2nd time my door handle is stuck and does not pop out, making it impossible to open the door from the outside. This appears to be a systematic defect in Tesla Model S cars as seen from numerous online complaints. It is a safety issue as not being able to open a door can prevent help from getting in in case of any accident. Tesla refu

I bought a 2007 Toyota Yaris brand new. It's a one owner car with 216000 miles. 5 years ago, I noticed that the side skirt was rusty near the back wheel. Over time, they rusted out. One month ago, while pulling in at the gas station, I heard a crunch. I felt the drivers side of my car go down as well. Got out and drivers rear wheel was tilted in at the top. The passenger rear wheel was also leanin
... g in at the top. The rear axle was rusted out on the welds. The car was about to crumple up in two. It looks to me like the car had a defect in which water somehow accumulated or ran down the back of that side skirt and rusted it, then the rear axle out. My little economical car is junked out. It may be one of the cheapest cars...well I'm a poor person. I worked my butt off to pay for that and I thought because it was a toyota that it would last. I was wrong. Thank God I only going 5mph. That could easily kill someone. Of course toyota killed all kinds of people a couple of years after I bought that yaris. I knew they were not to be trusted at that point. I thought I was going to keep my yaris forever. I guess I thought wrong.Read more

1.) The wire harness between the body control modules are failing. 2.) When I tow my boat I could loose braking at any time. Display of " service trailer brake system" overrides all other displays on console. Repetitive chiming noise is very distracting and irritating. 3.) Yes, I took it back in soon after i purchased it (a lot of money) and the Chevy rep said it probably was something to do with
... loose wires concerning the towing. I showed them a picture of the the warning display that I took immediately. They supposedly plugged in a diagnostic reader and said that since the code was no longer showing that they were unable to determine what precisely the issue was, but it was safe to drive. 4.) Component was not inspected by anyone. I was told that if it came on and I was in the area; to bring it in so that they can see the display. 5.) Yes there was a warning message that showed up multiple times. 1 or 2 weeks after being purchased on 3/11/22. I feel that the Chevy reps know of the issue ( bad wiring harness between 2 of the body control modules) and acted as if the had no clue of the picture of the warning display that I showed them and they were able to tell me it was safe to drive even though they said they didn't know what the issue was. ???? They put me in contact with Toyota's corporate office who referred me to their Brand Experience Center. They said it had to be evaluated by a Toyota dealer. I took it to the original dealer who sold this vehicle - Wilson Toyota in Ames Iowa- on September 27, 2022. Their service center says the frame needs replaced. They said they would not pay for any repairs. They said this truck had two safety recalls to replace the frame but they said they expired in 2012. I spoke to Toyota's Brand Experience Center again on the 27th and was told that my truck did not have any rust on it when it was taken in for the recall. Nothing was done to this vehicle when it was taken in for the recall repairs. There are many posts on Toyota forums that describe the same thing happening to other owners of this truck. - They are unaware of this condition of their truck frames until they bring it in to a reputable mechanic. In addition the door pops open when a rou

Ford however refuses to repair this serious safety issue as the vehicle in question has more than 60,000 miles on it and is not eligible for standard warranty repair. Per Ford Motor company documents the entire door and check assemblies must be replaced to correct the problem. Ford's documents also indicate that all 2020 and 2021 Ford Escapes are effected by this defect which they are refusing to repair. As this defect could result in someone falling out of an effected vehicle or being injured as a result of the intrusion beam not being properly secured during a side collision the effected vehicles need to be taken off the road until Ford Motor Company replaces all of the doors that are made from steel that is subject to this fatigue failure problem.Read more

... s make/model--and it is nearly impossible to get a replacement. Mercedes Benz told me maybe sometime in 2023. In addition to having it inspected, I have since been in contact with several dealers and mechanics. Results are invariable: the part is in extremely high demand, Mercedes cannot fill the demand, and the wait is indefinite but long. There were no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem. In addition to the inconvenience, the car was very dangerous to drive. I am thankful that my son did not seriously injure himself or others while driving. The crack renders the car unstable at anything but the slowest speeds. When one brakes at any speed over about 20-25 mph, the car pulls violently to one side. Simply braking alone could cause a major, even fatal, accident. And any emergency maneuver could be disastrous. The car has been garaged since June awaiting a replacement that I am told will cost between $4000 and $6000! I am left with a vehicle that runs very well--but is unsafe to drive on a public roadway--and no way to repair it. Moreover, Mercedes cannot tell me when the part may become available (likely sometime in 2023).Read more

The engineering and structural integrity of 80%+ of the thousands of Thor Magnitudes /Omnis produced from 2019 through 2023 are extremely questionable from a safety perspective. Thor Motor Coach, Inc. takes no responsibility for this, but the front caps of these motorhomes are separating from the rest of the coach. Thor refuses to issue a recall or further to cover a proper repair for this signifi
... cant manufacturer defect. Thor will not even acknowledge that this is a structural issue due to faulty workmanship. The length, quality and quantity of the screws used have significantly contributed to this potentially fatal issue. There is not enough support in the extremely large and heavy overhead cab to ensure that it remains attached when driving on roads of various quality. There is also significant flex in the sleeping accommodation EXTENSION above the cab when driving that will also contribute to potential life, health and safety concerns. We encourage the NHTSA to take action in checking into this matter immediately; requiring THOR MOTOR COACH to make an immediate and thorough recall for these vehicles with regard to the flexing of the lengthy and heavy overhead sleeping area they have "engineered" for these motorhomes. The front cap must be structurally reinforced, properly constructed and secured to the chassis. As they are being currently manufactured, these vehicles are considered unsafe to be operated at any speed. Motorhomes have a much higher significance in comparison to other RVs as they are motorized and driven vs. a travel trailer, which is pulled behind another vehicle. Encourage NHTSA to create a separate category for these RVs and hold their manufacturers closer to automotive industry standards. Thank you!Read more
