With one simple google search you can find hundreds, if not thousands of results from people talking about their same experience with their pearl white Kia’s. The paint is cheap, and it’s starting to peel off on its own, which has lead to severe cases of rust. Either Kia was purposely being cheap, or it was a mistake. Either way it’s their responsibility to fix this.

We discovered that both right and left rear door locks were not operating properly in our brand new 2022 Honda Pilot Touring, preventing the passengers from being able to exit the vehicle. From the original purchase on Oct 27, 2022, the kids had complained of being unable to unlock and open the rear doors from inside the cabin. After continuing problems, I discovered that once the door locks had
... been locked electronically, either via the drivers side door switch or the key fob, it was impossible to manually unlock and open the right or left rear passenger doors. Again - the rear seat passengers were NOT able to exit the vehicle on their own. Once all doors had been unlocked electronically via the switch of key fob, then the rear doors could be manually locked and unlocked using the lock tabs by each door handle. We took the vehicle to the dealer on Nov 30, 2022 and they confirmed that the locks were not working properly. (Note at this time, the vehicle had already had the rear entertainment system fail and had been at the Honda World Westminster service facility for five (5) days for repairs and while they replaced the control unit) On Dec 2-3, Honda World Westminster service took 2 days to diagnose and repair the vehicle (now 7 days total in the shop), replacing both rear door lock assemblies (Right Rear Latch Assembly Part # 72610-T5R-A31; Left Rear Latch Assembly Part # 72650-T5R-A31). When we received the vehicle I asked what exactly had failed and how could both locks be inoperable on the new vehicle from the dealer, but they could offer no explanation other than poor quality control. I explained that this was more that simply bad parts, it created a serious safety concern as the rear passengers were essentially "trapped" in the rear seat area as they were unable to unlock and open the doors had they needed to exit the vehicle in an emergency. I also called Honda Corp. and advised of the issue, they created ticket # 13512638Read more

Vehicle had electrical issues - Diagnosis by dealership was water damage to the Body Control Module. This module is inside the cabin on the front passenger area by their feet/legs. P
... eople have been put at risk by the gate dropping and the immediate shut down of an operating vehicle. The dealer was able to reproduce the problem. I had it happen twice. I have since identified that it is something that is a known issue on F150 forums. So much so that the likely cause of the water damage has been identified, and forwarded to the manufacturer. They are not fixing the issue. Manufacturer's dealership technician identified the water damage as the root cause. Required a replacement Body Control Module. Possible warning signs: Noted by myself and others. Emergency flashers randomly going off. Power drain on batteries. Horn going off randomly. Root cause: Unsealed seam between body panels under the hood in the engine bay. Leaking water falls on firewall and then onto the Body Control Module electrical component. Shorting will eventually ensure. This can happen any time. F150 forum thread documenting the likely culprit leaking seam: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/water-leak-cowl-seam-474781/Read more

Both of my sliding door actuators are seized and won't unlock/lock. Currently, my driver side sliding door is stuck in the lock position. You’re more than welcome to contact me. My vehicle will be in the shop for over a week and no loaner vehicle is available for use. The car is currently at Mercedes Benz of South Mississippi. I have owned multiple Mercedes’ products from c class, clk class, and two cls550s. This is what I sent to Mercedes Benz corporate. This was the response: Thank you so much for contacting Mercedes-Benz USA regarding your concerns of the condition of your 2014 CLS550's rear subframe. We understand the circumstances you've faced as a result of your vehicle's required repairs, and we are delighted to guide you in the best direction as a valued member of our Mercedes-Benz family. Our goal is always to advocate for our customer's concerns. While we would love to cover all repairs outside of warranty terms, it's simply unrealistic. It is our recommendation that you submit your photos to the National Highway Traffic Safety Association, as they are an entity that can investigate any considerations for recalls based on customer's claims. Your concerns will be documented to your account with Mercedes-Benz as well. We hope you find the following information useful, and we wish you all the best.Read more
