I exited my 2020 Escape and as I walked around the car to go into my house, as ai was passing the back of my car the Liftgate glass completely shattered. In the days prior I noticed the defroster was not defrosting all the way. I just got this car a month ago. Glass was everywhere thankfully no one was hurt nor were any of my kids in or around the vehicle at the time the window shattered.

Rear door trim came loose and fell off while driving. Had the service department at the local dealership look at the missing trim on the rear of the car and they noticed multiple of the plastic clips holding the trim on the rear were broken and remained in the area where the trim was attached.

Rear window spontaneously shattered. The weather was very cold and snowing. I used the rear defroster to melt off the snow. I went inside a retail store for about a hour and when I returned to my suv I found my rear window shattered. There was no damage to the rear hatch or signs of trying to break in the SUV. The electronically-activated hood release, latching mechanism on my 2024 Chevrolet Corvette VIN 1G1YA2D42R5116964 has been repeatedly malfunctioning since August, 2025. The hood either pops open of its own accord or it will not close securely, leaving the occupants of the vehicle to speculate if the hood will spontaneously open blinding the driver in traffic.

I've accessed the inside panel on the tailgate several times to clean and lubricate, but it only works for a short time.
