Timeline of events: Day 1 – Delivery March 13, 2026 • Drove about 10 miles after delivery. • The driver-side window suddenly rolled fully down by itself while I was driving. • Returned immediately to the Tesla service center. They said they cleaned the window and recalibrated it. Later the same day • Drove another ~10 miles. • The window dropped fully again while driving.
... • Returned to the service center a second time. • I was told a mechanical part would be replaced, but never provided documentation. Day 2 – Today, March 14, 2026 • Left home to go to the store. • Within about 5 minutes of driving, the window dropped fully again and would not close at all. • The wind noise was extremely loud and the vehicle was very difficult to operate safely. I contacted the service center and was told they cannot provide proof of the part replacement from yesterday. When I called another Tesla service location, the earliest appointment available to even investigate the issue is March 31, 2026, despite the fact that the vehicle is essentially undrivable.Read more

RE: SAFETY RECALL W36 (NHTSA ID 20V-191). Manufacturer Stellantis (FCA US LLC) has reported this safety recall as "Complete" for my VIN. This reporting is inaccurate. The vehicle remains on firmware version 30.21.0, which is the defective version the recall was mandated to replace. The Head Unit and Telematics Box (TBM) hardware are failing to accept the required safety patch. Stellantis Case Mana

Furthermore, the dashboard assembly is failing (adhesive degradation), causing significant rattle/distraction. The manufacturer refuses to honor the Federal Safety Act and remediate these defects without charge. I have already performed the diagnosis and provided firmware evidence which the manufacturer has ignored.Read more

The moonroof spontaneously shattered when I was driving on the freeway which sounded like a gunshot. There were no external factors such as debris from other vehicles and the temperature outside was relevantly constant at about 78F. No other cars were close to me or in front of me. For almost the entire 2 years I had my car, nothing has ever damaged the moonroof glass. I do want to note an observa
... tion that may or may not be linked to the potential safety defect: I do recall hearing strange pebble-like noises occasionally on the freeway & off the freeway at speeds of ~35-65 mph. It sounds like crumbs falling down the sides/top of the car in a horizontal pattern. I observed this as early as 1 month into ownership. Upon closer inspection after stopping to inspect my vehicle, the glass shows to have shattered/blew up & outward in cube shaped pieces and the pattern of the glass appears spiderweb-like, not originating from an impact point. The fracture pattern of the remaining glass appears to match a smooth edge breakage pattern which indicates stress failure due to a spontaneous glass breakage. The dealer has denied coverage due to the technician 'finding no evidence of structural damage.' Yet, my moonroof shattered upwards and there is not evidence of an impact crater. My car is still under warranty and under 2 years old and currently is only at about 20,500 miles. The dealership quoted me ~ $2500+$185 diagnostic. I will be elevating to Toyota corporate to request a closer inspection. Based on research, I discovered numerous reports of similar spontaneous sunroof failures in Toyota vehicles. The failure presents a high risk for public safety because the glass could fall into the eyes and face of the driver at highway speed. Additionally, drivers could be startled & swerve on the road at high & low speeds, on the freeway/streets. There were no warning signs/alerts. One moment I was driving to work on the quiet road & the next I heard what sounded like a gunshot.Read more

I own a 2017 Honda HR-V with White Orchid Pearl paint (NH-788P) that has experienced significant paint peeling and flaking on the roof, hood, and upper panels despite normal care. This appears to be a known manufacturing defect affecting many vehicles with this paint code. **Honda Motor Company acknowledged the issue in Service Bulletin A19-064 and extended the warranty for paint failure, but Hond
... a refused assistance because my vehicle is slightly outside the warranty period. The defect significantly impacts the vehicle’s appearance, value, and could eventually lead to corrosion. Additionally, my vehicle has had a long-term water leak from the rear hatch/roof area, with water entering the tail lights and interior. The leak has worsened and is now soaking the seats, seatbelts, and headliner inside the vehicle. The dealership says they must remove the headliner and wants to charge $1,500 just for diagnosis, which I cannot afford. I believe this is also a manufacturing defect, as similar roof and water leak problems have been reported by other Honda owners. I am requesting that this issue be investigated and that the manufacturer be held responsible for these defects.Read more

The power tailgate system on my Honda Odyssey failed. The dashboard displays a “Power Tailgate Problem” warning message and the tailgate will not open automatically using the key fob, interior button, or rear handle. When attempting to open it electronically, the vehicle beeps but the tailgate does not move. The tailgate can only be opened manually. The vehicle and tailgate system are availabl
... e for inspection upon request. The failure creates a safety risk because the tailgate cannot be opened electronically in situations where quick access to the rear cargo area may be needed. Additionally, if the power tailgate system fails unexpectedly, it could malfunction while opening or closing, potentially striking someone or failing during loading/unloading. The inability to rely on the automatic tailgate also creates hazards when carrying items or supervising children around the rear of the vehicle. The problem occurs consistently every time the power tailgate button is pressed. The system beeps but does not open. The issue has not yet been formally inspected by a dealer but can be easily reproduced. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representatives for this issue. The vehicle has a recurring door handle/door lock malfunction associated with Volkswagen safety recall 57J9. Symptoms include the vehicle unlocking and immediately re-locking, auto-unlock failure, and difficulty entering the vehicle. All four door handles were previously replaced under the recall (Feb 2025), but the malfunction recurred. On 01/26/2026 I delivered the vehicle to a Volkswagen deale
... r for recall repair; it was fully drivable at drop-off. During the recall-related software/coding procedure, the dealer reported the procedure could not be completed because the software would not accept the currently installed headlamp modules. A manufacturer Techline case was opened (SK-1561187) and the dealer reported they were advised to replace both headlamp assemblies due to part number incompatibility. After the attempted recall procedure/diagnostics, the vehicle became not drivable and has remained at the dealer continuously for over 30 business days. The manufacturer later denied warranty coverage and closed the case unless the owner pays to replace headlamps (approx. $3,887.79) in order to complete the recall procedure. The door locking/entry malfunction and inability to complete a safety recall repair creates a safety risk (potential inability to enter/exit and vehicle immobilization after recall service). The vehicle is available for inspection at the dealer.Read more

Day 1 – Feb 11 at 4pm incident occurred my daughter was driving the vehicle on [XXX] , she was in the far right hand lane preparing to take an upcoming exit. The problem has not been confirmed Hyundai has informed me it will take 5/6 weeks to determine if an inspection is warranted. -Thursday February 19 We got the vehicle to the closest Hyundai dealer Metro West in Framingham Massachusetts on Thursday February 19 - I explained to the service representative the history (recall and repair in 2017) and a request to investigate recurrence of the recall defect as well as to prepare an estimate for repair. I never received a phone back so I called them on Wednesday February 27 and was informed that the vehicle estimate and inspection was in progress. At that point I contacted Hyundai corporate offices and was given a case number. On March 3, I called again and completed the preliminary investigation report - i was informed they would get back to me in approximately 48 hours. - On 3/9/26 after a phone conversation I was emailed a request to inspect my vehicle authorization form and another form (11 questions that had been answer numerous time by phone already) both were completed and submitted the following day 3/10/26. My teenage daughter regularly drives this vehicle. The vehicle began experiencing significant oil consumption, oil leaks, and intermittent loss of power. During an early inspection at an independent repair facility, a check engine code P1326 was identified. Due to the symptoms and diagnostic code, the repair facility advised that the vehicle could be heading toward engine failure and recommended t
... hat the vehicle be taken to an authorized dealership because potential engine issues may fall under manufacturer warranty coverage. The vehicle was then towed to an authorized dealership. During the first visit, the dealership retained the vehicle for an extended period of time, approximately two months. During that visit, several recommended services were completed, including replacement of spark plugs, ignition wires, and replacement of the valve cover gasket along with other recommended maintenance. During that visit, it was also stated that the vehicle has a known issue with excessive oil consumption. Because of this, the oil level is checked weekly and oil is added as needed. I also informed the dealership that the independent repair facility had identified code P1326, but I was told that the dealership diagnostic codes were different. After these repairs, the vehicle experienced another incident where it lost power and began idling roughly while being driven on a busy highway. The vehicle was taken back to the dealership. During that visit, it was stated that the fuel injector harness and oil pressure sensor needed to be replaced. The dealership also indicated that the spark plugs needed to be replaced again, even though they had been replaced at the same dealership less than a year earlier. At that time, I asked if the vehicle would be safe to drive for approximately one week because I needed to travel out of town and my daughter would need the vehicle. I own a 2022 Grand Design Solitude 346FLS fifth wheel trailer. The trailer has been at the dealership for over nine months after structural frame cracks and weld separations were discovered during inspection. The cracks appear in structural frame components and welded areas supporting the chassis. This raises concerns about the integrity of the trailer frame during towing and braking. In addition
... to the frame defects, all four leaf springs in the suspension system have failed or lost structural integrity. This suspension failure presents a safety risk because it affects axle alignment, load support, and trailer stability while towing. The trailer manufacturer (Grand Design) and dealer have been notified, but the unit has remained out of service for an extended period while the manufacturer decides how to address the problem. Structural frame cracking combined with suspension failure represents a serious safety concern for a towable RV traveling at highway speeds.
