The 2024 Chevy Traverse has super cruise. It is basically an auto drive feature. It has sensors in the top part of the steering wheel. This plastic area is known for cracking and the dealership said there is nothing they can do. This is absurd. My steering was tight on my 2018 Toyota Camry. I started to have difficulty steering my car. After a day, I could not steer the car at all. I took it to my mechanic at Exxon, and when he ordered a new steering intermediate shaft assembly, he found a defect in the one Toyota sent him. This CHEAP fix is abhorrent! It calls for welding an adjustable part of the steering linkage rendering it non- adjustable when having the front end aligned in the future. I had all the bolts fail, with obvious corrosion, and the motor separated from the rack causing a loss of power steering while moving.
