The vehicle experienced a sudden loss of power steering while in operation, creating a safety concern due to reduced ability to control the vehicle. At the time of failure, multiple electrical and control module faults were present. The vehicle was inspected by a dealership, which diagnosed the issue as requiring rack and pinion replacement. The owner paid out of pocket for this repair. Dealershi
... p documentation shows the steering failure occurred alongside multiple electrical system faults. During the same service period, the dealership also performed multiple safety recall repairs, including control module and software updates. These systems are integrated, and the steering failure occurred in conjunction with electrical and control module issues later addressed under recall. This raises concern that the original failure may be related to defects now identified under active safety recalls. The owner incurred significant repair costs prior to recall correction. This situation presents a potential safety related defect involving steering and electrical system interaction.Read more

While driving under normal conditions, without any prior impact, collision, or road hazard, the control arm on my vehicle suddenly detached. This occurred during active driving and caused an immediate loss of vehicle stability and control. The failure happened without warning and posed a serious safety risk. At the time of the incident, my children were in the vehicle, which significantly increa

Tesla towed the vehicle and repaired it at no cost. However, a suspension/control arm failure during normal driving is a serious safety concern that could lead to loss of steering control and possible crash. I am reporting this incident for safety investigation purposes, as this type of failure may pose a broader risk to other drivers.Read more

All the sudden, the power steering stopped working as I was backing out of my parking spot at the grocery store. Luckily, I stopped before anything bad happened. For approx. the last 12-18 months, I have experienced "sticky steering" during every drive. The "sticky" feeling becoming worse as the speed of the vehicle increases. There is a recall on 2023-25 CR-V EPS Grbx Greasing Saf Rec, but not on 2019 Honda CR-V's. I took my CR-V to the Honda dealer who was able to experience the steering issue of our CRV and was quoted $3,987.65 for the repair plus $1
... 69.00 for an alignment which is required for such repair. This issue is a huge safety concern. In researching the "sticky steering" issue, it appears to be a common issue with 2019 Honda CR-V's and should, in my opinion, be considered for recall. Due to the cost of the repair, I contacted Honda Corp. to request assistance with this repair. My case with denied because 1) my vehicle is out of warranty, 2) I didn't get my maintenance items done at a Honda dealership (which I don't know what an oil change has to do with the steering), and 3) this vehicle is the only Honda I've owned, which is incorrect as this is my 3rd Honda (2006 Accord, 2009 Civic and 2019 CR-V). I corrected the case manager about this being my first Honda (no comment was made by the case manager acknowledging his incorrect information or my loyalty as a 3-time Honda owner), questioned him why maintenance items would be a factor with a steering issue (case manager said it was a loyalty thing on my part by having maintenance done at Honda), and asked if I could appeal his decision. I was told no reconsideration would be given on my case. I am making this compliant because this is a safety issue and also a common issue on this year, make and model. I am hopeful if enough compliants are filed that Honda will be forced to consider this a recall item. Until them, I am left to figure out a way to pay for this costly repair on my own.Read more

The primary components affected include the park pawl/park position system, which has intermittently failed to reliably lock the vehicle in park, creating a risk of unintentional rolling that endangers my safety, the safety of passengers, and the safety of others in the vicinity. This component is available for inspection upon request at the dealership. The front suspension upper control arm ball joints have also demonstrated premature wear or defects, reducing steering stability, affecting handling, and increasing the risk of loss of control, particularly in turns or under braking. Additionally, the high-voltage battery system has a documented recall due to a manufacturing defect affecting charging safety, posing risks of overheating, electrical hazards, or fire. All these defects have been reproduced or confirmed by the dealer during service visits, and the vehicle has been inspected by certified Ford technicians, with repair attempts documented in service records. I am filing this complaint regarding serious safety and consumer protection concerns involving my 2022 Jeep Wrangler (VIN: [XXX] ), manufactured by Stellantis, as well as issues involving the towing company E&R Towing following my accident. Prior to my accident on November 8, 2025, my vehicle experienced multiple ongoing mechanical issues, including overheating, shaking while driving, and abnormal
... loud noises. These issues raised serious safety concerns and were not properly resolved. On November 8, 2025, I was involved in a rollover accident. Following the accident, Stellantis initiated an investigation and retained Bosch/Engineering Analysis Associates to extract Event Data Recorder (EDR) data from my vehicle. While presented as an independent inspection, this analysis was conducted by a vendor hired by Stellantis, raising concerns about the objectivity and scope of the findings. Stellantis ultimately denied responsibility, stating that the conditions of the crash did not meet the threshold for airbag deployment. However, this conclusion fails to address the ongoing mechanical and safety issues I experienced prior to the accident, including the possibility of system or sensor malfunction. Additionally, my claim for relief under Illinois Lemon Law was denied without fully considering the pattern of defects and safety concerns. I have also filed a complaint with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Complaint #XXX, regarding safety concerns with this vehicle. Following the accident, my vehicle was handled by E&R Towing. I have concerns regarding how my vehicle was managed after the crash, including the handling process and lack of transparency regarding procedures and fees.
