I just replaced the battery in my 2004 chevy Silverado 1500 with only 97,000 miles on it, and i went to drive it down the road and the vehicle now loses power and cuts off making a left turn.. The steering is all electric, doesn’t use power steering fluid. When I am driving, at random times, the steering wheel locks up and has almost caused me to get into two accidents. It lasts for a few seconds until I can regain control by gripping the wheel very tightly.
