My vehicle will randomly have the check engine light come on, a service shifter light come on, and then lose the ability to steer. I have taken it to the dealership twice and told it was fixed. Now it is back at the dealership for the third time. As a result of this issue I was involved in a car accident when a van came into my lane and I was unable to avoid impact and they were able to leave the
... scene. This is a safety issue for not only myself and anyone in my car but also anyone on the road around me. I did not file a police report regarding the accident as my situation involves a language barrier and I was so upset I just wanted to get home and be safe. Now I am in a state of fear anytime I drive my vehicle. I did have passengers and witnesses for two different instances where our lives were put in jeopordy because of this issue. On a separate occasion we were on a busy highway lost steering and were unable to get out of first gear. If I end up in a court situation I have several witnesses that would all be willing to make statements on my behalf as their lives were also put in jeopardy. I'm very upset as this vehicle was expensive and I bought it brand new. Now I've been out of a car for weeks and am being told I may have to pay for something that is clearly an ongoing issue. I have read several forums and articles and complaints from fellow jeep owners, many the same year, who have experienced the same issue. This is horrendous! My service records are all on file with Auto Centro Caguas in Puerto Rico.Read more

I got the truck to the dealer 4 days later and they said it was the battery going bad even though I was not having any problem starting the vehicle, I had them replace the battery. I am unsure if the problem is resolved, time will tell. What I am sure of is if my daughter had been driving the truck, she would not have had the strength to get the brakes to work or turn the wheel, she would have had a accident for sure.Read more

I am reporting a serious braking system defect in my 2024 Audi Q3, which has persisted despite six separate repair attempts at an authorized Audi dealership. The defect causes severe vibration and pulsation in the steering wheel, brake pedal, and vehicle floor while braking at highway speeds, excessive brake noise coming from the rear brakes causes severe vibration, and the vehicle pulling to one
... side when braking, increasing the risk of loss of control and crash. These issues compromise braking performance and overall vehicle safety, making the vehicle hazardous to operate. Despite multiple repair attempts, including replacing the front brakes, the issue persists, indicating an unresolved defect in the rear braking system or a systemic problem with the braking components whereby an underlying issue. Audi’s technical support was involved in diagnosing the issue but failed to resolve the problem. Given that similar brake-related defects have led to numerous NHTSA recalls in other Audi models, I am concerned that this could be part of a larger pattern. This defect poses a serious safety risk to the driver, passengers, and other road users. I have documented my case with video evidence, repair orders confirming the ongoing complaints, email correspondence with the dealership, and an independent inspection report validating that the braking system is not functioning properly. Despite all this, Audi has been unable to remedy the defect. I urge NHTSA to investigate whether other 2024 Audi Q3 owners are experiencing similar braking issues, determine if this defect is related to previously issued Audi brake recalls, and assess whether this issue warrants a recall to prevent potential accidents. Given that this braking defect has not been resolved despite repeated repair attempts, further investigation is necessary before this defect leads to a serious accident. This issue has remained unresolved, and I request that NHTSA take immediate action to ensure consumer safety.Read more

Our 2021 Cadillac Escalade has experienced multiple ongoing issues. The “driver airbag warning” light has been a major concern, with the dealership stating that the airbag could malfunction at any moment. When we took the vehicle in for repairs, they determined that a previous maintenance job on the driver’s airbag was done incorrectly, which was causing the warning light to activate. Additi
... onally, the vehicle intermittently displays warnings for the “service system restraint system,” “service power steering column,” “reducing features to save battery,” and “service driver assist system.” Despite multiple visits to the dealership, we are consistently told that their diagnostic computers do not populate any error codes, leaving them uncertain about the cause of these warnings. Another major issue is battery drainage. We replaced the original battery two years ago, yet we have needed Cadillac roadside assistance twice because the vehicle wouldn’t start. Each time, the battery tested as healthy, but the car remained inoperable due to a drained battery. Lastly, we have had to replace the remote key batteries every 2-3 months, which seems excessive for a relatively new vehicle. Safety Risks: The driver airbag warning light indicates that the airbag could malfunction at any moment, which poses a serious safety risk in the event of an accident. The service system restraint system warning suggests potential failure in critical safety components. Issues with the service power steering column could lead to steering difficulties while driving, increasing the risk of an accident. The reducing features to save battery warning and service driver assist system warning suggest possible electrical failures that could impact vehicle performance and safety. The other issues, including system warnings and battery drainage, have been repeatedly reported to the dealership, but they have been unable to confirm the cause as their diagnostic system does not register error codes.Read more
