We purchased a 2019 Atlas in 2020 and recently had to take it to the dealership in [XXX] multiple times with no answers as to why the steering is shaking and the car vibrating at speeds over 50 mph. Apparently according to this complaint link, [XXX] it is very common and consumers have had the same poor response from their dealerships to fix this safety concern. I got a quite (PARTS ONLY) for $

However, this experience over the past 8 months has been nothing but a nuisance and we are highly concerned for the safety of our family while driving the 2019 Atlas. Steering is horrible specifically to the left in a curve it doesn't go back to center when letting it you have to force it which is jerking car back right into other lane off the road. The brakes squeal awful the car has about 40,000 miles on it. Can't see any recall on any of this with my car but it definitely has issues.

I purchased this vehicle in September 2025 with 9K miles. About a month after purchase, the steering wheel started to stick and it was difficult to keep the car center of lane. The car progressively got worse and is not drivable. I took the car to a local mechanic and an alignment was done along with tire balance, and rotation. The issue continue to get worse I took the car to Jeff Wyler Nissan fo

My 2024 Honda CRV was part of the recall for potential steering gearbox issues. Recall repair took place on 4/2/2025. Steering problem has persisted ("sticky steering") and when I had the steering checked today (5/6/2026) during a regular maintenance appointment, I was notified entire steering gearbox assembly should be replaced. Upon further research I discovered this is an ongoing issue 2023-202

This was clearly insufficient and the recall should include complete replacement of the steering gearbox assembly with a properly manufactured unit. The lane keep assist has never worked. It doesn't not keep you in the lane, it just chimes when you drift out of it. The bigger issue is the axles. I only owned the car for 1 month when the axles started loudly clicking with every turn. Honda is claiming this is just a cosmetic defect and it does not affect safety, but I don't believe that for a second. Clicking axles are NOT normal, and could o
... nly indicate signs of deterioration. Not only that, but myself and anyone else with this issue can feel that the drivability is affected. Turns and propulsion are slower as time goes on and the clicking gets louder. Honda knowingly continues to sell these cars for up to $60,000 and no longer offers a remedy for the faulty axles. They now plan to discontinue the vehicle and offer no further support for it, which is completely unnaceptable. This safety defect must be remedied as soon as possible. We should not wait until someone is dead.Read more

2025 Dodge Charger EV | VIN: [XXX] | Purchased: April 11, 2026 | Dealer: Thunder Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, Bartow, FL I am reporting multiple active, unresolved safety system failures that began within 24 hours of purchase and remain unrepaired after two dealer visits. On April 15–16, 2026, the dealer documented NINE fault codes across FIVE modules, including an active Electronic Throttle Modu

Additional active alerts included ABS failure, brake system failure, airbag system failure, suspension failure, and blind spot system failure. The only repair performed was a software flash. No safety systems were physically repaired. Alerts returned May 2, 2026. Pre-sale service history (undisclosed at sale) shows five battery-charging failures, a July 2025 software fault, and a complete no-start event on December 18, 2025 requiring updates to four electronic modules. A post-purchase repair invoice (April 2025) also documents a Collision Thrust Angle Alignment — a frame geometry procedure performed after structural impact — raising concerns about airbag deployment zone integrity. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? No Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? Yes, a variety of warning lamps and messages over a period of 10-12 days, which would disappear after restarting the vehicle (restarting was necessary to get the steering working again). Messages such as traction control, auto on/off, and check engine light were a few different ones. On May 3, 2026, while operating my 2024 BMW i5 on public roads, the vehicle suffered a sudden and complete loss of power steering with no prior warning. I could not turn the steering wheel at a stop. The instrument cluster simultaneously displayed: "Vehicle may roll. Brake manually," "Drive carefully. Changed steering effort," "Drive carefully. Chassis stabilization," and "Parking assistance malfu
... nction." Auto Hold and the electronic parking brake's hold function were disabled, requiring manual brake application to prevent rollaway. Mileage at incident: approximately 21,344 miles. The simultaneous failure of Electric Power Steering, Dynamic Stability Control, and the Electronic Parking Brake while the vehicle was in motion in traffic created an immediate safety hazard. No crash or injury occurred, but a recurrence at highway speed, on a wet road, or during an evasive maneuver could foreseeably cause loss of vehicle control, crash, injury, or death. The vehicle was taken to an authorized BMW dealer. The technician stated this failure is a known issue following a recent vehicle software update, that BMW has no repair available, and that the only action taken was to power-cycle the vehicle and clear stored fault codes. No software remedy, parts replacement, or TSB was provided. I was given no assurance the failure will not recur and no timeline for a fix. To my knowledge, no recall has been issued for this defect on the i5 platform. I request that NHTSA evaluate the scope of this issue across the i5 fleet and determine whether a defect investigation or recall is warranted.Read more

We are reporting serious safety-related faults involving my leased 2026 Audi A6, VIN [XXX] , and a same-model 2026 Audi A6 loaner provided by Audi Central Houston. Core safety issues: 1. My vehicle previously displayed a Park/rollaway warning indicating Park could not be engaged. 2. My vehicle has had repeated starting-system faults, including: “Engine start system: malfunction! Please contact S
... ervice.” 3. Our vehicle has been the subject of multiple repair visits at Audi Central Houston and is currently at the dealer, available for inspection. 4. After the third repair order, Audi Central Houston represented the vehicle was ready for pickup. Before we accepted return, the same starting-system malfunction reportedly recurred during Audi’s own test-drive/verification process. Audi added that April 30 recurrence to the still-open third repair order. 5. While our A6 remained at the dealer, Audi Central Houston provided a same-model 2026 Audi A6 loaner. That loaner displayed: “P not possible. Risk of rolling away! Please contact Service.” A photo is available. 6. Because the loaner warning stated Park was not possible and there was a risk of rolling away, we did not leave it parked unattended and returned it directly to Audi Central Houston. The apparent failed/malfunctioning systems involve Park engagement, electronic shift-by-wire, transmission control, parking interlock, starting-system control, electrical modules, software, gateway communication, or related safety-critical controls. Safety is at risk because a vehicle that cannot reliably engage Park may roll away and injure occupants, pedestrians, bystanders, or service personnel. I am filing this complaint regarding multiple serious safety defects in my 2021 Subaru Outback purchased in July 2021, currently at 48000 miles THERMO CONTROL VALVE FAILURE (26,307 miles) While traveling in the center lane on [XXX] southbound in [XXX] the evening of 1/6/2024 my vehicle suddenly experienced a complete loss of control. It seemed that the car was accelerating and braking at the s
... ame time without driver input making it impossible to operate safely. It started shaking and several lights were illuminated on the dashboard, power steering was not working. The car coasted to the right shoulder and starlink was used to call for help. The car was towed to the dealership for repairs. The diagnosis was a failed thermo control valve and related sensor circuit. There were no dashboard lights before the incident that fore shadowed this event. This failure rendered the vehicle completely inoperable at highway speed and posed and extreme risk to the safety of the driver, passenger and other motorists. I am aware that Subaru has extended the warranty on the thermo controls valve to 15 years/150000 miles for 2020-2022 Outback’s which suggests that Subaru had knowledge of the defect. Since the incident several other premature “wear” defects have presented under 48000 miles on a 2021 vehicle: - 41,402 miles: driver side rear strut replaced - 41,402 miles: rear brake pads and rotors - 41,402 miles: driver side front window motor, regulator and run Chanel - 41808 miles: rear knuckle assembly, rear wheel bearing and backing plate replaced - 45,768 miles: front brake pads and and rotors replaced - 48,000 miles: complete exhaust system - 48,000 miles: passenger side front window motor, regulator and run chanel This vehicle has proven to be uncharacteristically unreliable for a Subaru Outback. Component/System Failure: The braking system, specifically the brake rotors (and possibly pads), appears to be malfunctioning. The vehicle experiences severe vibration during braking. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Safety Risk: While braking at highway speeds (approximately 50–70 mph), the steering wheel shakes violently and the vehicle vibrates rapidly. This reduces cont
... rol and creates a serious safety risk, especially when driving downhill or in traffic. It increases stopping distance and makes the vehicle feel unstable. Reproducibility / Dealer Confirmation: The issue has been reproduced multiple times under normal driving conditions. The dealership inspected the vehicle and acknowledged brake/rotor-related vibration but classified it as normal wear and tear and declined warranty repair. Inspections by Others: The vehicle has been inspected by an authorized Volkswagen dealership. No police or insurance inspections were involved. Warning Lamps or Prior Symptoms: No warning lights or dashboard messages were displayed prior to or during the issue. The only symptom is severe shaking and vibration during braking, which began around 33,000 miles for 2024 ATLAS. Additional Details / Suspected Cause: Given the low mileage, this appears to be premature failure of brake components rather than normal wear. Similar complaints have been reported by other owners, suggesting a potential defect or design issue.Read more

My wife was we me as we were driving home from a trip to visit our grandchildren. A message popped up on the display that said my power steering had failed, a chime also alerted me. It was immediately noticeable as I could barely turn the steering wheel. If I had
... been in a turn I may not have been able to control the truck and may have caused an accident. The truck has 94,000 miles on the odometer. Thank you.Read more

First symptom I noticed was the car smell while it was running. I used a device to see what codes of any would pop up on a scan. It came up with codes tying into the fuel system. I then went to go fill up on gas couple days later and when going to start it back up it wouldn’t start. When it did start it would say engine losing power or steering losing power and then just shut off. I then looked
... up what that usually means and it made me look towards the alternator. I was told by a mechanic an easy way to see if your alternator was good was to start car and while running disconnect the negative on battery and if it stays running the alternator was still good. So I did that and it stayed running. I then looked up recalls for my vehicle and seen everything it was describing for the fuel system seemed to be happening. I am now filling this form out to get my vehicle looked at and fixed. I have a wife and 2 young daughters that we drive to school. It is not safe to be driving and hoping that us and others on the road will get to there destination safely.Read more

Two grounding straps failed on my 2021 Silverado Trail boss lt. GM has a recall for this exact problem under N252515590, model years 2019-2024. Apparently my vin number is not associated with this recall, yet my dealer just did the recall repair. They said my truck did not qualify for the GM recall and I was forced to pay for the repair. The failing grounding straps caused my power steering to
... go out and my brake system and safety traffic sensors to fail as well. This was very dangerous as it would fail randomly while driving the truck. There were no warning signs or lights on the the truck to indicate any problems.Read more
