With my vehicle the brakes go straight to the floor. I took it to the mitsubishi dealership closest to me (Bobmills mitsubishi Jacksonville Nc). The brakes now go all the way to the floor again. I was trying to bleed them just to see if I could get some pressure, but 3 of the lines aren't getting pressure. I decided to check and bleed at the master cylinder, I had plenty of pressure coming out so I know that's good. Then I checked the bleed pressure at the ABS module thats on the recall and I am only getting pressure from the drivers front tire, the other 3 are not giving pressure at all, even if you pump the brakes while they are open. So I know the cylinders in that ABS module are bad. So I called the dealership again and they are refusing to do it because they said they don't work on vehicles that old.Read more

After we got vehicle back we were still very cautious about the car. I sent my concern to New Central BMW Alhambra CA about one month ago -to the service manager and requested a written explanation of why this faulty message occurred and how BMW engineer plans to prevent this from happening again. This is an exceptionally unsafe situation that will inevitable cause injury or death should someone be driving fast up to the car in front of them and not expect this to occur. This is an extremely unexpected vehicle equipment response on a perfectly dry road without any debris/etc to cause tire slippage. Having done some online research of the issue, this seems to be a frequent problem experienced by other Palisade owners however Hyundai is not doing anything about it. I could not cross the border in a tow truck with a stranger- so I had it repaired in Tijuana at a Ford Service Center. The vehicle was towed to an authorized Ford service facility (Ford Surman BC – Tijuana, Baja California), where technicians confirmed a defect-related failure and performed warranty repairs to restore functionality. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others? Yes. An authorized Ford dealer inspected the vehicle and conducted the warranty repair. The manufacturer has been notified of the incident. Were there any warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No warning indicators were displayed before the incident. After the uncommanded shift into Park and immobilization, the instrument cluster displayed multiple error messages including “Park Brake Fault – Service Now” and “Pre-Collision Assist Not Available.” Additional context: The vehicle had been serviced at an authorized Ford dealership in the United States less than one month prior to the incident and had fewer than 13,000 miles Vehicle broke down at night with my children in the vehicle. ABS light on dash is illuminated, speedometer works intermittently, and sway bar dash light flashing. Power feels reduced when sway bar light is flashing. Occasionally while driving, door locks engage, sway bar light disappears and power is back to normal. ABS lights remain illuminated. No replacement part available.
