The Antilock Brake Module (part # 68228991AD) and Antilock Brake Hydraulic Pump (part # 68196033AA) have failed for no apparent reason. The dealer states there's a national backorder for the module with no delivery date noted. The module controls the anti lock braking system, traction control, and cruise control, which are all safety concerns. The module cannot work without the associated pump.... Read more

The vehicle has a feature called "hill hold" that can not be disabled where it holds the brakes when stopped on a hill untill 3 seconds after removing your foot from the brake pedal. This has resulted in many near miss safety hazards because I can not move the vehicle quickly enough to make a safety maneuver in the event of imminent collision from another vehicle when stopped on a hill.

I have been experiencing a brake surge when I come to a stop, it has been a few weeks now (or maybe months). It feels like the regenerative braking is disengaging and the friction brakes are not engaging immediately. I am concerned this is a brake handoff issue and a major safety problem.

The front brake hose ruptured and the brakes went out. This is consistent with the recall NHTSA Campaign # 20V469000. Ford dealer is refusing to fix it saying only the rear hose is covered. But it clearly states in the recall released on Aug 2020 it is the Front hose.

There is a TSB out for this issue (#N242471431) but GMC refuses to repair at no cost. States that even though my vehicle is within the parameters of the TSB, it is VIN specific.
