Shortly after purchasing my 2017 enclave premium around 60000 I noticed a problem that felt like vehicle's tires were skipping when making sharp turns. Upon my own extensive research (as I didn’t have time money and couldn’t go won’t vehicle) discovered a clutch pack needed replaced. This is after replacing the battery and brakes nit even a month after buying. Later after taking it for an
... oil change I received a report stating the rear differential was cracked and power steering rack needed replaced. While driving in rush hour traffic one day all power steering was lost with no explanation. Still having problems with tire pressure monitor replacing multiple tire stems and tires. Won’t start after filling with gas or is stuck in crank position trying to start when it finally dies it wants to stall out. Currently headlights are flickering with no known cause. Oh and the driver heated seat stopped working right after purchase. I’m at a huge loss with repairs costing more than the worth of a vehicle that continues to have serious issues even after fixing the problem it seems to repeat itself. Owe too much to trade in. All these problems are known to occur I cannot believe this isn’t a lemon or recalled parts. If not in enclave same thing happens in similar vehicles made by sane manufacturers during the same years. I will never purchase another GMC nor purchase from Toyota who failed to help after purchase.Read more

My vehicle is experiencing a mechanical failure of the brake actuator/booster assembly, manifested by a "squawk/bark" noise and abnormal pedal feel during braking. This is a known defect recognized by Lexus under Customer Support Program 23LE04. The dealership technician confirmed the noise is present and recommended a full replacement of the ABS actuator. However, Lexus is denying coverage becau
... se the onboard computer has not yet triggered a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). By denying the repair, Lexus is requiring me to operate a vehicle with a confirmed mechanical brake malfunction, which increases the risk of a crash, increased stopping distance, or total brake power assist failure. March 2021 (60k miles): Actuator was replaced under warranty for this exact failure. December 2021 (74k miles): The failure recurred. Lexus and the dealer refused to cover the diagnosis/bleed, forcing me to drive a defective vehicle. February 2026 (110k miles): A Lexus dealer confirmed the part is failing again and quoted $3,000 for replacement. Despite a manufacturer program (CSP 23LE04) existing for this exact part, Lexus refuses to honor it without an electronic code, even though the mechanical failure has been physically confirmed by their own technicians. The component is available for inspection.Read more

The vehicle is experiencing a suspected brake actuator / brake booster failure. Multiple warning lights appeared simultaneously, including ABS, Brake, Traction Control, and Master Warning lights. The vehicle produces a frequent buzzing noise from the brake system, especially at low speeds or when stopped. The noise occurs repeatedly when pressing the brake pedal, indicating the system is struggli
... ng to maintain hydraulic pressure. This condition raises serious safety concerns because it may reduce braking performance and increase stopping distance. Brake system failures present a significant risk to vehicle occupants and others on the road. After researching the issue, I learned this appears to be a common failure in Toyota Prius vehicles of similar model years, and Toyota previously issued extended warranty coverage for the brake booster/actuator assemblies. However, many vehicles now exceed the coverage limits despite the safety nature of the defect. I am submitting this complaint because a failing brake system is a critical safety hazard, and this issue appears widespread.Read more

Description of Incident: On February 9, 2026, at approximately 3:00 PM, I was driving my 2021 Kia Soul on Calvine Road and Winterberry in Elk Grove, CA. A vehicle suddenly merged into my path. I immediately attempted to apply the brakes, but the pedal failed to depress or engage normally. Despite the imminent collision, the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) failed to provide any alert, and
... the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system did not activate. To avoid a high-speed, rear-end collision, I was forced to perform an emergency steering maneuver toward the curb and into roadside bushes to stop the vehicle. This maneuver resulted in severe mechanical failure, including a broken driver-side axle, damaged rims, and broken brake pads. The dealership (Elk Grove Kia) has provided an estimate of $9,461.67 for these repairs but has failed to explain why the primary safety systems and service brakes failed to function as designed during this emergency.Read more

My 2018 Ram 2500 has an active safety recall for the ABS/EBS system that has been open for over two years with no remedy or parts available. The issue was first noticed in August of 2023. I contacted CDJR dealership on how to repair this issue. This is a serious safety defect that directly affects braking stability, trailer brake communication, and emergency handling. Because the ABS module and
... electronic brake system are malfunctioning, the truck cannot safely perform the heavy towing it was purchased for. When towing a large trailer, the trailer’s electronic braking system does not communicate with the truck, forcing the truck to absorb the full braking load. This has resulted in unstable braking, increased stopping distance, and unsafe emergency handling at highway speeds. The ABS fault also disables cruise control, which significantly increases driver fatigue on long-distance trips. I regularly travel 1,500 miles each way to Florida, and without cruise control I must maintain throttle manually for hours at a time, requiring more frequent stops and reducing alertness. This defect has caused premature brake wear due to the trailer brakes not engaging properly. I was forced to replace the rear rotors and pads at only 32,000 miles, costing me $2,700. This is not normal for a heavy-duty truck and is directly related to the ABS/EBS failure. The unresolved recall has also severely reduced the resale and trade-in value of the vehicle. Dealers discount or refuse vehicles with open safety recalls and no available remedy. I am also paying $138 per month for a Mopar extended warranty that I cannot use to repair this defect because the manufacturer has not supplied the necessary parts for over two years. This is an unreasonable delay for a safety-critical recall. The vehicle is unsafe for its intended purpose, creates financial harm, and exposes me to ongoing risk every time I tow. I am requesting NHTSA intervention to compel Stellantis to provide a timely remedy.Read more

Vehicle: 2020 Volvo XC90 Mileage at first incident: ~60,000 miles Mileage at second incident: ~70,000 miles In July 2025, while my wife was driving our 2020 Volvo XC90 the vehicle experienced a sudden and complete loss of braking. The brake pedal did not provide stopping power, and the vehicle had to be steered off the roadway in order to come to a stop and avoid a serious accident. The incident
... created a serious safety risk. The vehicle was taken to an Wynn Volvo PA dealer and the brake booster and master cylinder were replaced at our expense (approximately $2,500). After the repair, the brake pedal initially felt abnormally soft and required a return visit for correct repair. Approximately six months later, in January 2026, while my teenage son was driving the same vehicle, the vehicle again experienced a complete loss of braking. Braking performance was lost without warning. He narrowly avoided a serious accident. The vehicle was brought to Wynn Volvo in PA and the hydraulic control unit (brake control module) was diagnosed as failed. Repair cost is approximately $3,000. This vehicle has now experienced two separate complete brake failures involving different hydraulic braking components within six months -- with both my wife and son narrowly avoiding serious accidents. Given that this is a safety-critical braking system failure with repeat occurrence, I am filing this complaint for investigation.Read more

Jeep Wrangler JK ABS Module Issue: History, Stellantis Response, and Safety Concerns Background: The Discontinued ABS Module Problem Jeep Wrangler owners (particularly Wrangler JK models from 2011–2018) have been plagued by failures of the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) control module – a critical component that controls the vehicle’s anti-lock brakes and stability control. The problematic pa

The issue isn’t isolated to just one part number or model – similar ABS module shortages and failures have been reported in other Stellantis vehicles (including later Wrangler JLs and even Ram trucks) as well. Supplier Fallout: According to insider reports on Jeep forums, the shortage stemmed from a supplier issue – the original ABS module supplier for Jeep/FCA stopped production (allegedly after Stellantis attempted to cut costs), and it took the company over half a year to find a new supplier. Some reports claim Stellantis “tried toRead more
