The ABS Control Module failed. After checking with the dealer, the part is unavailable unless you agree to pay 4x the price. After further research, blogs, online info, it appears this part is back ordered because of a widespread failure. This is dangerous and should have been recalled. Instead they are releasing small amount of part for the purpose of gouging.

Toyota is aware of this problem but refuse to fix this notorious and dangerous problem they have with multiple model years. I was not informed of the limited service campaign.
