Wy wife and I drove our Tesla Model 3 from Palo Alto, CA to San Francisco downtown, to meet friends. I was the driver, and my wife sat on the passenger seat. The weather was clear, and the pavement was dry. I did not engage auto-pilot features during the entire trip. The car condition was normal with no signs of error or warning. I made a right turn onto [XXX] from [XXX] Shortly after I complet
... ed the turn, the car unexpectedly lost control. Without any prior warnings, it suddenly veered into the center divider, snapped a tree, dashed towards oncoming traffic on the other side of [XXX] , and finally stopped on [XXX] , labelled as location A on the attached drawing. Everything happened so quickly: I could not control the steering wheel, and I applied the brakes in vain. The vehicle seized control, no matter how hard I tried to stop it. I regained control of the vehicle at the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX] , and was able to park the car at location A. We were very fortunate and blessed that we did not hit people at the bus stop, that there were no cars in front of us, that the opposite traffic on [XXX] was stopped by a red light, and that the traffic was light on [XXX] Without such luck, my wife and I, and probably others, would have been seriously injured, if not worse. Because [XXX] is one-way, we decided to move the vehicle to [XXX] , and parked at location B in the drawing. I called 911 and spoke to a female dispatcher. She asked us to remain at location B and wait for police officers to arrive. We waited there for almost 3 hours, but no police arrived. The dashboard display indicated that we had a flat tire(s). We called mobile tire services. After their inspection, most of our tires were alright, except the rim of the front-left wheel was badly bent, as you can see in the attached photo. The mobile tire service staff was skilled enough to carefully patch the damage and said it should be OK to drive back to Palo Alto. As I was turning a corner, my steering wheel completely locked up on me. I was stuck in the middle of the street trying to get my car to turn into our driveway. There was a safety recall, but Lucid told us the car was safe to drive while we waited for our service appointment. A couple of days before our appointment, (this past 2/9/2025) the car lost brakes, steering, and then completely bricked on the GWB. By great good fortune my wife, who was driving, wasn't injured. Car cuts off while driving almost causing a accident. The brakes randomly stop working while driving also. The code says P1777 relating to the transmission/ hybrid system. Also the 12v battery and hybrid battery needs to be replaced every 2 years, which is

When you start the vehicle the brake pedal falls to the floor and you can not stop it. Also at a stop the brake pedal slowly falls to the floor. According to the dealer they don’t know what causes this and it still does it. They said no ABS lights came on so this is normal. The brake lines have completely failed on my 2019 Tesla Model 3 due to rust / corrosion in the drivers side front wheel well. Fortunately failure was caught before an accident occurred. Had I not caught this failure, at highway speed this could have resulted in a very bad accident putting me and my family in danger. After the failure occurred the vehicle indicated it had low brake fluid and that
... it should be taken to a Tesla service center. I had two different Tesla service centers review the brake line failure, and inspect the remaining brake lines. Both service centers denied that the brake lines were covered under warranty. After connecting the second service center with a Tesla shop in the New England region the Tesla service center agreed to cover replacement under good will. While this is a positive outcome the failure of the brake lines has also identified massive corrosion issues on the battery, subframes, and bolts holding critical components together. I've been informed that removal of the sub-frames and battery may result in the battery being deemed faulty. This is due to corrosion found at the edges of the battery which may result in failure of the required battery pressure test. If the battery is faulty it will need to be replaced and is also not considered under warranty. The estimate for replacement is $23k which would mechanically total this vehicle. Battery corrosion is another safety issue, since the battery is designed to be sealed removing moisture from being able to penetrate the battery cells. Corrosion both on the battery pack and battery cells could contribute to failure of the battery pack while driving.Read more

2013 Ford Edge Limited Mileage approximately 69,000 Have had issues for several months (2024-2025) with an intermittent soft brake. As soon as I feel the soft or spongy brake I release & pump the brake pedal again & that seems to fix it. April 30, 2025 I stepped on the brake & did not get a good pedal. Pumped the brake again & did not get a good pedal (did this 3 times) then noticed it went rea

No ABS or any warning lights are on. Checked for recall & don’t see one for this year even tho there have been 465 existing complaints. Have had the rear brake pads replaced. Master cylinder Front brake pads & rotors. Been bled numerous times Brake fluid level is good After researching this issue I have found that HCU/ABS Module issues are most frequently cited as the cause for these symptoms. I am filing this complaint because Jeep/Chrysler has denied my reimbursement request for a repair directly related to Recall 94B, issued in November 2024, covering the ABS module on my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Despite this, Jeep/Chrysler has refused reimbursement solely on the grounds that the repair was not performed at an authorized Jeep dealership. I believe this violates federal law under the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act (49 U.S.C. § 30120) and the related regulation (49 CFR § 573.13), which require manufacturers to reimburse owners for pre-notification repairs addressing the defect, regardless of where the repairs were performed, as long as proper documentation is provided. Braking Malfunction #2 - Location: [XXX] [XXX]. Six weeks after the first braking malfunction, heading home from running errands. As began approaching a red light, pressed the brakes to slow down and stop for the light. The front brakes completely failed (like pressing into a soft pillow that went all the way to the floor with absolutely no braking). At the same time, the back tires were accelerating/spinning (like with incident #1). I've had to limp the truck home on several occasions while in town and in Feb. 2025 it put my wife and I in what a consider a dangerous situation by stranding us on the side of the highway. I don't remember any warning lamps coming on but I did a scan after I got the truck back home. B170-15, B210A-16, B222C, B2861-15, P2509 & P2560 were present. Just before or during the lurch, the brake system warning light appeared on the dashboard. I did not have my
... foot on the accelerator at any time. The road was flat and weather conditions were normal. The Idle Stop system has not been functioning for several months, so the vehicle was operating in normal engine-on mode. Despite this, the car surged forward from a full stop, indicating a possible failure in the brake system, electronic throttle control, or a software/ECU malfunction. This was a dangerous, uncommanded movement of the vehicle while stopped, which resulted in a minor collision. Thankfully, no one was injured, but this poses a serious safety hazard, especially if it were to occur in crosswalks or at intersections.
