I am writing to formally report a safety concern regarding the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) in the 2024 Hyundai Palisade, which I believe may be a widespread issue affecting this model year. The problem has raised significant safety concerns, as it directly impacts the vehicle's braking performance. Recently, I began experiencing issues with the ABS system in my 2024 Hyundai Palisade. The brake
... pedal feels unusually soft or pulsates when braking, and there have been instances of skidding or loss of traction during routine stops were I have ended up in the middle of an intersection. I took the vehicle to a Hyundai service center, where they claim the system was performing normal. The technicians noted that the issue could be linked to the ABS control module or wheel speed sensors, but they could not provide a definitive diagnosis. The system has not been able to function properly since the issue started, and I am concerned about the vehicle’s safety. As a safety-critical system, the ABS is essential for maintaining control of the vehicle during braking situations, particularly under adverse driving conditions. The malfunctioning ABS system poses a significant risk to the safety of both the driver and passengers, as well as other road users. The inability to rely on the ABS system increases the risk of accidents, particularly in situations where braking efficiency is crucial. I have contacted my local Hyundai dealership for assistance, and they have attempted to address the issue through diagnostics and repairs. However, the problem persists, and I am concerned that this may not be an isolated case but rather a widespread defect affecting other 2024 Palisade owners. Given the severity of this issue and its potential to affect a large number of consumers, I respectfully request that the NHTSA investigate this problem to determine if it is a manufacturer defect that warrants a recall.Read more

Happened to both my wife and I. As we attempt to stop the vehicle (for her at a stop sign, for me in a parking space), the car engages ABS and the car won't stop. Feels like you're trying to brake on ice. Very dangerous, I almost drove into a wall, she almost hit someone. We discovered that they have identified this as a problem and have offered no solution. I was told by the dealer "just tell you
... r wife to go slow over speed bumps," and I corrected him that it seems to have nothing to do with speed bumps or not. And besides, that is not a correction that will make the car safe. First I had my engine replaced in May 2025 under the recall and service advisor informed me it would be about 3 days before they completed the engine swap and it had to sit to make sure there were no leaks anywhere and in less than 24 hrs the called me and told me my truck was all done. I went to pick my truck up they had it waiting in the service line with the engine running, I heard a strange t
... icking noise coming from under my hood that sounded like a lawnmower engine, the service tech tells me that is normal with the replacement engines which is absolutely false. Being a woman they tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. I got frustrated and got in my truck and when I came to the first stoplight when the light turned green and I stepped on the gas pedal, my truck would not move, after about 5 seconds it surged forward and then again wouldn't move, then again my truck surged forward with a loud thud in the rear like somebody hit me from behind. It feels like it isn't kicking into gear and also my steering wheel was not centered when they swapped the engine so I have to hold my steering off to one side for my truck to drive straight. This has been a nightmare for me and Toyota refuses to acknowledge there is anything wrong. I've also been waiting for 7 months to get my front brakes fixed under the TSB and all they say is we don't have parts available, meanwhile they're building new trucks with new brake pads, rotors and calipers before taking care of the people waiting months and months? They try and wait until your warranty runs out so I have to pay for the fix. Please help. I am writing to formally report a safety-related defect in my 2019 Nissan Sentra and to request reimbursement for repair costs associated with this issue. Although I have been informed that my vehicle is not currently included in Recall
... Campaign PM971, the symptoms and defective part match the recall description precisely. I have verified my VIN through the NHTSA recall lookup tool, and I am concerned that the recall scope may be too narrow, excluding vehicles that are clearly affected. This defect required immediate repair to restore basic vehicle functionality and ensure safety. I have attached documentation of the repair, including the invoice and diagnostic notes, for your review. I respectfully request the following: Reimbursement for the cost of the brake light switch repair. A formal review of my vehicle’s eligibility for Recall PM971. Consideration for expanding the recall to include additional affected vehicles, including mine. I am submitting this complaint in the interest of safety and fairness—not only for myself but for other Nissan owners who may be facing the same issue without recourse. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Tesla, Inc. regarding multiple critical safety failures that occurred with my Tesla Model Y (VIN: [XXX] ) during a collision on Saturday, [XXX], while I was traveling eastbound on [XXX] from the [XXX] exit to the [XXX] exit in Pennsylvania. At approximately [XXX], I was driving in the left lane when a BMW SUV abruptly cut into my lane ahead of me,
... accelerated briefly, and then suddenly braked. I immediately applied the brakes multiple times in an effort to stop my car. Even though there was sufficient space to stop safely, the braking system failed to respond, resulting in a collision with the BMW in front of me. Despite my efforts to avoid the impact, the following dangerous and unacceptable failures occurred at the time of the accident: 1.Failure of Regenerative Braking / Deceleration: When I lifted my foot from the accelerator, the vehicle did not decelerate as expected under Tesla’s regenerative braking system. 2.Failure of Braking System: Despite pressing the brake pedal twice—including a heavy application—the braking system failed to prevent collision, contrary to Tesla’s advertised safety performance. 3.Failure of Collision-Avoidance Features: Critical safety systems—including Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, and Obstacle-Aware Acceleration—did not engage to mitigate or prevent the impact. 4.Failure of Airbag Deployment: Despite the severity of the crash, none of the airbags deployed, exposing me to serious risk of injury and raising grave concerns about the integrity of the Model Y’s occupant protection systems. 5.Post-Collision Failure of Regenerative Braking: Following the accident, when I attempted to drive the vehicle, the regenerative braking system was completely non-functional, creating a continuing safety hazard and rendering the vehicle unsafe to operate. I purchased a 2025 GMC Denali a few months ago. At approximately 7,000 miles, the front brakes failed unexpectedly and were replaced by the dealership. However, by 14,000 miles, I began experiencing brake issues again. Before I could return the vehicle for service, I was driving on the turnpike when the engine suddenly seized without warning. This created an extremely dangerous situation—vehicle

I managed to pull over safely, but the tow truck operator struggled to load the vehicle due to all four wheels locking up and the engine being completely seized. Once the vehicle was inspected at the dealership, I was informed that the engine had failed and would need to be replaced. I am aware of the recurring issues associated with the 6.2L GMC engines and related component failures, and I no longer feel safe driving this vehicle. I believe this situation qualifies under lemon law protections and warranty obligations, and I urge GMC to take immediate action to resolve this matter.Read more
