While driving at normal roadway speeds, the vehicle experienced a sudden and unexpected loss of power during acceleration. The engine remained running, but the vehicle failed to respond appropriately to throttle input, resulting in a significant reduction in forward movement. This created a dangerous situation, particularly in traffic conditions where consistent acceleration is required. The issu
... e appears to be related to the transmission or powertrain system, though the exact component failure is UNKNOWN at this time. This condition poses a serious safety risk, as loss of power while driving can increase the likelihood of rear-end collisions or inability to safely merge or clear intersections. The vehicle has been inspected by an authorized dealership; however, they were unable to reproduce the issue during testing and therefore did not perform a repair. Despite this, video evidence of the incident exists and clearly shows the loss of power event. There were no warning lights or messages prior to or during the incident. The failure occurred unexpectedly during normal operation. The problem has not been resolved and may occur intermittently, making it difficult to reproduce under standard inspection conditions. The vehicle remains in service and available for inspection upon request.Read more

On Feb. 25th, 2026, while driving at high speeds (about 45 mph), the vehicle suffered a sudden and total loss of motive power. Diagnostic reports(DIACODE: D6121_00000000_01_901) later confirmed a failing 12V battery system with only 37% startability limit. This critical electrical failure coincided with the engine stalling, which resulted in the immediate impairment of electronic power steering an

Despite being a 2025 model with only ~11000 miles, the dealership has failed to provide 48B system diagnostic and root cause upon request and the vehicle has been out of service for over 20 days.Read more

I’m reporting a serious transmission issue with my 2016 F-150. While driving, the 'wrench' light suddenly pops up on my dash and the truck starts shifting erratically. Sometimes it feels like it’s searching for a gear or jerking unexpectedly. I had the codes scanned and found P0706, P0707, and P1921. These are all related to the Transmission Range Sensor (TRS) signal. I know the NHTSA is curr
... ently investigating this exact failure under EA26001 because it causes the truck to lose track of what gear it’s in. Even though my tires haven't locked up yet, the erratic shifting is making the truck unpredictable and dangerous to drive in traffic. It’s clearly the same Lead Frame defect that is being investigated for a recall.Read more

The PTU assembly has failed internally. The repair shop has collected a DTC as well which is C14A7-97 "PTU obstructed." The vehicle is available for inspection, but the repair shop has not disassembled the unit as disassembly is not required based off the symptoms and trouble code populated, the only repair for this is PTU replacement. If the vehicle had continued to be driven, there is a poss

Yes, the concern has been confirmed by the dealership and vehicle is still currently at the dealership. It has only been inspected by the dealership at this point in time. Yes, the "Service 4WD" warning light illuminated in the instrument cluster. The light is still on and it generated an active code of C14A7-97 indicating internal PTU failure. The shop/dealership has had our vehicle for going on 5 months (since November 13, 2025) with no date of repair in sight. The mechanics at the Honda dealership reported the following on a vehicle that has approximately 27,000 miles on it: 1. The clutch assembly failed and requires a complete clutch kit replacement. 2. The crankshaft oil seal is leaking, which causes oil to be splattered around the engine bay as the crankshaft spins. 3. Timing chain tensioner cover is seeping oil. Honda provided a video showing the
... exterior of the vehicle only. The video did not show video evidence the clutch was faulty, or that any leaks were present. The safety of the driver and surrounding traffic was put at risk because the vehicle became unreliable (degraded powertrain performance) due to premature failure of the clutch assembly. Leaky crankshaft oil seal and timing chain tensioner cover are leaking lubricants onto hot engine surfaces, causing noxious fumes. These fumes entered the cabin of the vehicle, putting the health of the driver at risk. The problems listed above were confirmed by a service technician at the Honda dealership. The vehicle/components listed above have not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others at this time. There were no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. The problem first appeared when the driver was driving home from New Jersey to Virginia on 3/15/2026. She experienced shuddering when the vehicle shifted from first to second gear, then second to third gear. A noxious odor was detected inside the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the dealership on 3/16/2026.Read more

This complaint is NOT related to the existing recall associated with this vehicle. The vehicle is experiencing a serious loss of power and acceleration issue. The car is unable to accelerate past approximately 60 mph. When pressing the accelerator fully, the vehicle does not respond or increase speed. While attempting to accelerate, the engine RPM increases and then suddenly drops repeatedly, caus
... ing the vehicle to struggle to maintain speed. This behavior is consistent and occurs during normal driving conditions. This creates a dangerous situation, especially when merging onto highways or attempting to accelerate in traffic, as the vehicle cannot respond when needed. This is a supplemental update to complaint #XXX filed February 7, 2026, regarding my 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Diesel (VIN: [XXX] ). The vehicle experienced a sudden and complete loss of propulsion on January 21, 2026, consistent with the defect mechanism described in Recall 24V797. Recall software was installed May 27, 2025. Failure occurred eight months later with no warning. GM's response
... has been as follows: A Field Technical Service Engineer made a remote determination that the failure did not match the recall without physically inspecting the transmission. GM Executive Resolution required teardown at customer expense with no reimbursement guarantee. The authorized dealership (Dave Kirk Chevrolet, Crossville TN) declined to perform a documented inspection -- citing unwillingness, not inability. Written refusal was withheld for over one week. GM's Executive Resolution liaison admitted she had known of the refusal and withheld that information from me, directly delaying my ability to act. The final repair order (RO 50479) contains a self-documented notation: "Added tech notes 3/16/26" -- eight weeks after the January inspection. The transmission pan was fully removed, fluid was discarded, and pan bolts were not reinstalled. The only photograph provided does not reflect as-found conditions. The vehicle is experiencing multiple system malfunctions involving engine performance and electrical components. Symptoms include engine trembling at idle, abnormal ticking and hissing noises, and the vehicle pulling while driving. An independent diagnostic scan performed within 24 hours of purchase identified more than twenty fault codes. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The
... se conditions created safety concerns due to instability while driving and the risk of loss of control or unexpected mechanical failure. Additionally, dealership-provided loaner vehicles also malfunctioned, including one becoming inoperable and another displaying a check engine light, leaving the customer stranded and without reliable transportation. The problem has been partially confirmed by both an independent service center and dealership personnel. An independent diagnostic confirmed multiple system faults, and a dealership manager personally observed the engine shaking at idle. A Volkswagen dealership documented abnormal engine behavior but stated the issue could not be consistently reproduced during testing. The vehicle has been inspected by an independent service center (Meineke Automotive) and a Volkswagen dealership (Stone Mountain Volkswagen). A case has been opened with Volkswagen of America for further review. The vehicle has not been inspected by police or insurance representatives. Symptoms began immediately after purchase on February 27, 2026, including engine vibration, instability, and drivability issues. Fault codes were identified within 24 hours. My 2023 GMC Yukon Denali with the 6.2L V8 suffered a sudden loss of propulsion while traveling at approximately 70–75 mph on the highway with my wife and young daughter in the vehicle. The engine RPM dropped immediately to zero and the vehicle displayed a message instructing me to press start. I do not recall any meaningful prior warning lamps or symptoms before the failure. I did not hear a lou

I had to coast across lanes/shoulder to a stop, which created a serious safety risk to my family and other drivers because the vehicle lost propulsion at freeway speed without warning. After stopping, the vehicle would not restart. Pressing the start button produced only a click from under the hood and the engine would not crank. The vehicle was towed to a GMC dealership in Victorville, California. The dealer has since confirmed that the engine requires full replacement. The failure has therefore been confirmed by an authorized GMC dealer and the vehicle should be available for inspection through that dealership/manufacturer if requested. This is especially concerning because this vehicle was already part of the known GM 6.2L recall population and had supposedly passed the recall inspection/remedy before I purchased it. Despite that, the engine still failed catastrophically only about 1,355 miles into my ownership. Purchase mileage was approximately 26,343 and failure occurred at approximately 27,698 miles. Further evidence of vehicle issues provided as accompaniment to VW Customer Care Claim via: [XXX] This current March 2026 concern follows on multiple service visits and loss of vehicle usage during April–August 2025 claims process. During this time, Brooklyn Volkswagen Service (now permanently closed) conducted an evaluation of the car, including documented video evidence of issues with the car – even beyond those which were the original cause for my concerns (e.g. they cited degradation of cables and wiring within the car’s hood due to their being made of edible soy wrappings). This morning (9am), a staff informed us by phone that the vehicle has a failed transmission oil pump and that the dealership was waiting for approval for the replacement part. This concerns my 2025 Subaru Outback Touring XT- with a turbo charges engine and standardd CVT transmission. When I get to street speed and brake to slow down, as the car slows and the tach decreases to 1000 rpm +/- a bit, the car shows an obvious power surge that can be felt through the accelerator and brake pedal and can be clearly seen on the tach as a jump to about 1100 rpm + . I had the fi
... rst oil change done at 2500 miles or so at the dealership and asked them to see what it was. The electronic system diagnostic monitor they plugged the car into showed NO issues. But, the technician doing the work could feel the same thing. The dealership had just received a new car with same features as mine, so they got in it, and the same thing happened. I was simply told that was the way the care was. I really doubt it. I will be having another oil change soon, perhaps this Saturday, and will ask them to put it on the diagnostic monitor again and see, but this can be a little unnerving. This is a continual and ongoing issue. There is NO one specific date as requested below. So, I am just showing 1-1-26 to fill the blank. Check engine light with rough shifting and vehicle wouldn’t go in reverse. For safety reasons we had the vehicle towed to our local Chevy Dealership. Transmission needed a valve body rebuild. This is a known issue with this transmission but our VIN wasn’t under that recall.
