Incident date: Mar 19, 2026
On March 19, 2026 around 830AM EST, the vehicle turned off while I was driving around ~40mph. I lost all power while on a busy street and I was unable to move the car to the side of the road. The car would not shift into drive or neutral, and therefore remained in the middle of the road until a tow truck had to flatbed it to the Cadillac dealership. On 03/13/26, I was taking a family trip when all of a sudden my 2021 chevy silverado (with 6.2L v8) began to lose power and shake uncontrollably causing me to make an emergency roadside stop. Fortunately, traffic was light and I was able to avoid a collision. I immediately heard a loud knocking sound coming from my engine and several check engine safety lights were displayed. On 3/16, I brought my
... truck to a local GM dealership and was advised that I needed a complete new engine replacement due to catastrophic engine failure because my rods and crankshaft had blown in my engine. The dealership checked for recalls on my truck but were surprised that my vin did not pull up a recall even though there was a recent major engine recall (# N252494000) issued for my exact model truck with the same issues my truck displayed. It should be noted that my vehicle had less than 24,000 miles on it and I have kept up with regular oil change and maintenance service and that before this issue I have had zero issues with this vehicle. To make matters worse my powertrain warranty expired 2 months prior to this incident so I am having to pay out of pocket over $12k for a new engine. On 03/19/26, I contacted Chevy but was told there was nothing they could do for me and stated that NHTSA would have to get my vehicle added to the recall. I am requesting that my vehicle and others like it get added to this massive engine recall so I can get reimbursed for my new engine and also to protect other families from possibly being involved in a major unavoidable crash. CV axles failed around 42,000 miles. Purchased new tires due to one being worn. After new tires the front end was shaking on acceleration onto the highway. The 2023 Toyota RAV4 8-speed transmission is catastrophically defective and poses an immediate safety hazard. It exhibits severe hesitation, slipping, and lurching when accelerating from a stop or low speed, and when attempting to merge into high-speed traffic (I-15/Las Vegas), creating a high risk of rear-end collisions. During these events, the RPMs spike and fall rapidly but the vehicle fails t
... o accelerate. Furthermore, the vehicle lunges forward while the brakes are applied. The engine actively fights the braking system, requiring extreme physical force to stop the car and prevent front-end collisions. This lunging has repeatedly triggered the Pre-Collision System, causing the seatbelts to lock and tension against the driver’s body. Additionally, the vehicle exhibits steering resistance and feedback during turns, making it difficult to maneuver safely. The local dealership (AutoNation Toyota Las Vegas) inspected the vehicle and claimed these life-threatening behaviors are "normal" for this model.Read more

Incident date: Feb 28, 2026
The transmission malfunctioned 4 times in the first 3 weeks of ownership. Once on the way home from the dealer, but I could not return as they were closing when I picked up my new 2026 Silverado 2500HD pick up. It has 2 issues so far since that ride home, 2 times, on separate occasions, I was approaching a red light and slowing down when the light changed while I was in a slow speed, so I accelera
... ted to get to the speed limit, while doing so, the truck hesitated for a couple of seconds then banged into gear. The second time for that same scenario was several days after resulting in the same hesitation and then bang into gear. No warning lights were reveled. I called the local Chevy dealership, as instructed by the dealership I purchased it from was 107 miles away, they gave me an appointment to investigate the problem. Upon arriving, I needed to back up to align my vehicle with the entrance to the service area and my truck would not go into reverse. I tried 2 times shifting from park to reverse and nothing, I put it back into park while still running and went into the service area explaining my new issue, the service writer got a mechanic and he tried shifting into park with no luck. He then shut off the engine, waited about 30 seconds, restarted the engine and shifted into reverse and it worked. They checked for codes and none were present, so they test drove it for about 20 minutes, did not experience either symptom and email GM service assistance and were told to have me come back and they would check the parameters and make sure the software was updated as well as the transmission fluid level and condition. I returned for them to accomplish those tasks and drove home, 2 miles, and had no issues till the trip I was going on today, I warmed up the vehicle as it was only 37 degrees today and when I put it in reverse, it did not engage, so I shifted into drive, it engaged then I put it in reverse and it did finally engage. I had 93u9 criteria 04 recall done in February. As of March 6, I had a no power supply message. Without being able to charge it went to the dealer. After I got the car back from the recall, I had two times the charging didn’t want to start, then I had ghost wiping with the rear wiper and the infotainment system rebooted several times while driving. Safety had gotten much worse and now there are cascading failures. Audi does not want to admit the recall was the cause, but the car had no issues prior and now a month later had $17000 in repairs. Today I was driving my truck at 55mph on a local highway and all of the sudden I felt/heard/experienced a massive clunk out of nowhere - almost like the truck tried to downshift into 1st or something similarly jarring. Unfortunately I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get a Ford dealership to do anything about it since there isn't an official recall, and I'm afraid to keep driving it as this is likely going to keep happening - but fixing it myself is going to be expensive I think. It is available for inspection upon request. I felt that my safety was and continues to be at risk - downshifting into 1st gear, or whatever that was, while driving high speeds is dangerous and could potentially significantly damage my vehicle and myself. I have not taken it anywhere yet to be reproduced or confirmed - just plugged my scanner in and did a bit of research. No one has inspected it.Read more

I am submitting a complaint regarding a 2019 Honda CB300R with approximately 1,225 miles. This vehicle is subject to an open recall (NHTSA Recall 19V-412) involving a transmission mainshaft circlip that can detach and cause gear misalignment and shifting issues. The dealer attributed the cause to carbon buildup from old fuel and did not clearly establish whether the transmission issue described in the recall was evaluated as the root cause of the shifting limitation. Given that the recall specifically identifies shifting issues as a symptom of the defect, I am concerned that the original transmission-related issue may not have been properly diagnosed or addressed before recommending extensive engine repairs. I am submitting this complaint to document a potential issue involving recall-related symptoms not being properly evaluated or resolved.Read more

Despite the lack of codes, these symptoms are a direct match for NHSTA Recall Campaign 25V-031 (Honda Recall AL0) which was officially announced to address Torque Control Failures caused by the FI-ECU software. According to Honda’s safety report, improper programming in the fuel injection unit causes the engine to stall during "sudden changes in throttle opening"—which is exactly what I experienced. We had two incidences with in a week. 1. My wife was at a stop light getting ready to go through an intersection when the light turned green she pressed on the gas pedal and the vehicle would not go it just flashed a few codes and a warning came up about a possible condition that occurred. She had to place the vehicle in park shut it off start it up again and put it into drive mode in order to get
... going again all this while in traffic. We made an appointment with Hyundai of Anchorage but they couldnt find a problem they updated the soft ware and gave the car back to us. 2. The second time it did this was about a week later. My wife went shopping and got into the car to leave, she started the car and put it into gear and it would not move when giving it gas it flashed some more codes at that point she called me. I restarted the vehicle got it moving and when I came to a stoplight with five vehicles ahead of me the light finally turned green vehicles started moving but when I went to move the car would not go and there was a vehicle behind me a ways back that was approaching rather fast. As my wife did before I had to shut the vehicle off restart it and put it in drive in order to go.Read more

Subject: URGENT SAFETY COMPLAINT - 2022 Nissan Rogue (VIN: XXX) - Recall Remedy Failure I am filing a formal complaint regarding a life-threatening defect in my 2022 Nissan Rogue. This vehicle has experienced three (3) total losses of motive power at highway speeds, nearly causing multiple accidents. I am now afraid to drive this vehicle as it remains a substantial safety hazard. Recall & Repair F
... ailure: The vehicle is subject to Recalls R25E2 and R25E3 for engine bearing and throttle body failure. The dealership performed an ECM software update which effectively removed the "open recall" status from my VIN history. However, the dealer refused to perform the mandatory physical oil pan inspection for metal debris required by the recall protocol. The car still exhibits severe bucking, hesitation, and gurgling noises. By only performing a software "fix," the manufacturer has cleared the safety alert while leaving a catastrophic mechanical defect unaddressed. This is a complete remedy failure. 30-Day Out-of-Service & Misdiagnosis: In January 2025, the dealership retained my vehicle for over 30 days. During this stay, the service department initially informed me via text that the engine required a full replacement. The following day, they abruptly changed the diagnosis to spark plugs. I have text records of this contradiction. This 30-day stay meets the statutory presumption of a "Lemon" under Florida Statute 681.104. Unresolved Issues: Despite replacing the throttle body, EGR valve, water pump, and various mounts, the engine still stumbles, especially from a stop. The dealer manager previously discussed a vehicle swap but attempted to force a new credit application, treating a safety-defect remedy as a new sale. I am seeking a Substitution of Collateral (Swap) on my existing loan terms for a reliable vehicle.
