Date of incident : August 31,2025 Around 9pm on August 31, I was fixing to accelerate at a green light. I pressed the gas pedal, my car went up to 40 mph and then the engine failed. This is due to a recall on the bearing rods for 2015-2020 Acura TLX. The incident occurred a month after financing the car. I don't have a warranty, so I opened up a case with the manufacturer to get help with the rep

Yes I have insurance, but it was not involved in an accident so I'm helpless there.Read more

I purchased this vehicle is certified preowned Cadillac and during the warranty time I had a transmission issue that was causing the transmission to jerk when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear and at highway speeds, it would start jerking nonstop. I took it to the dealer and as per a service bulletin, they flushed the transmission fluid and replaced the transmission fluid. This was only a temporary fi

I’ve had to replace engine as possible result, but the transmission problem is still there and it has also caused the check engine light to come on intermediately. This could result in a complete transmission failure, causing a vehicle to lose propulsion leading to a possible accident and injuries. This issue needs to be investigated and repairs or replacement made at the manufacturers expense.. This is a four-cylinder turbo engine and an eight speed automatic transmission. In my opinion, the transmission issue caused my engine failure. There should be investigated and an immediate recall issued.Read more

1. The transmission goes into neutral when downshifting without any user intervention. When upshifting the transmission will miss gears or go into a neutral state. These defects center around the Quick Shifter. 2. When trying to slow down to stop, the bike unexpectedly shifting to neutral can cause a crash very easily. I lost control several times trying to stop and nearly was hit by a car. When
... accelerating and the defect presents itself, it can cause you to loose control. I had a near miss and almost went over the handlebars. 3. I went to the purchasing dealer and they confirmed the issue. They had the bike almost 2 weeks and even had a factory mechanic look at the bike. Initially, they agreed it was a defect due to a software issue. However, they were unable to issue a fix. Ultimately Harley Davidson decided to tell me I was not shifting the bike ‘within parameters’ so they did not consider a defect. I strongly disagree with the statement as the operation manual contradicts the statement that there is a specified shift point that must be adhered to. Furthermore, I made several videos showing the problem in which they refused to acknowledge. Most troubling they have not given me the repair work orders for the bike after numerous attempts and visits back. After 30 days of the bike being out of service I sold it to an auction at great loss. 4. The check engine light intermittently would illuminate but never stayed on. The dealership stated it was due to the front suspension, a totally unrelated issue. Of note, I test rode a brand new bike separate from mine, and was able to reproduce the issue. I have video of this as well.Read more

While towing a rented trailer from Tractor Supply, the trailer detached because it was not properly secured by store staff. The rear-view camera is also under active NHTSA recall (25V048), and its poor image quality complicates safe reversing after the incident. The safety risk is significant: the trailer detachment created a roadway hazard and impact, while the rear camera defect reduces visibility and increases crash risk when backing. The car began revving at lights when I was in drive and stopped at red lights. The normal at rest rev is 0.75 however I have seen it as high as 1.5 and had to put the car into park to reset the acceleration. This had been consistently happening over the past month. The first visit to the dealer, I needed a new battery... that didn't fix the issue. The tech said that after the battery was replaced
... that the scan showed no error codes. The only codes before the battery replacement were low voltage indicators throughout the car. The next day the same issue happened again. The second scam showed no faults however I asked them to clean the throttle body (which they never suggested) and they did. They said that they recalibrated the new clean throttle body measurement to the computer. For the following 10 days, when I stopped at a light, the tachometer was perfectly stable at 0.75 and there was no "jumping" around like before. Until this day, the acceleration happened at a "stop". However on day 11 after the throttle cleaning, I was SLOWING DOWN to approach a red light and the tachometer revved to 3.0 and I needed to stop immediately and throw it into park. This is so dangerous. I may cause an accident by either lurching forward or needing to hit the breaks to stop the acceleration. There are no error or warning lights that show on the dashboard!!! After the battery was changed, the dealership said they had someone drive it for 10 miles to recreate the issue but found none yet it started up the next day. GROK has been helpful. It suggested first the throttle cleaning which did help, and three other repairs. I'm planning to pay a shop that deals with German cars specifically to scan and evaluate.
