see attached documents: Subject: Ongoing Unresolved Recall Issues and Safety Concerns with My Ford Vehicle I am writing to formally express my deep concern and frustration regarding my Ford vehicle, which currently has 15 open recalls that have gone unresolved for nearly two years. During this time, I have contacted every Ford dealership within a 50-mile radius of my home in repeated attempts to
... have these recalls addressed. Each dealership has provided a different excuse for not completing the necessary repairs. Some initially allowed me to schedule service appointments, only to cancel them once they realized the work involved recall issues. In several cases, I was never notified that my appointment had been canceled—I only discovered this when no one showed up. Other dealerships claimed they did not have the required parts and assured me they would contact me once the parts became available. To date, none have followed up. One dealership required that I speak with a supervisor before scheduling any recall work, but despite multiple messages, my calls were never returned. On one dealership’s website, I attempted to schedule the recall repairs online. The system showed numerous open appointment dates until I selected “recall service,” at which point all availability disappeared, and I was unable to proceed. Each dealership I contacted referred me elsewhere, passing responsibility without resolution. Ford has been fully aware of the potential safety risks—including the risk of serious injury or death—associated with these recalls, yet I was repeatedly told it was “safe to continue driving.” This was clearly not the case. Recently, while driving, my vehicle suddenly lost all power and stopped moving. I managed to pull over to the side of the road and called for a tow truck. As the tow truck driver prepared to load my car, it unexpectedly lurched forward on its own and crashed into the tow truck. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the incident caused significant front-end damage to my vehicle. It could have easilRead more

My battery died while the vehicle was parked. I needed to physically move the vehicle but could not because the electronic button shifter would not allow me to put the transmission in Neutral. The only way to move it out of Park is a lengthy process requiring tools, engine component removals and a manual shifting of the linkage using a long wrench. My solution, was I had to leave the vehicle un
... attended, call a friend, get tools and replace the battery while blocking traffic. Safety concerns were that the vehicle was blocking traffic at a business and no documentation by Honda of how to fix or even shift the vehicle into Neutral. Now consider if someone has to try and manually tow the vehicle while in Park! I replaced the battery myself, but this is a well documented issue with electronic shifters, that will never make a dealership or service departments records or statistics! There was no warning of the failure, or battery light illuminating. Previous vehicle inspections at the dealership gave no indication that the battery was failing.Read more

I am writing to formally file a complaint for gross negligence, excessive delays, and repeated mechanical failures regarding my RAM 2020 ProMaster1500 HR; VIN: [XXX] at the authorized dealership Bomnin-Doral in Miami, FL. The vehicle remained at the dealership for 1 year, 4 months, and 18 days due to transmission damage and other mechanical issues. Five days after final delivery, the transmissio
... n failed again. Despite multiple attempts to communicate, no effective response has been received, and the vehicle remains inoperable at my residence. A steering issue also persists: when turning the wheel fully to the left or right, it does not return to its original position and must be manually assisted, posing a serious accident risk, especially in turns under 90° or U-turns. The dealership claims this is “NORMAL,” which we strongly dispute. The transmission is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, and other damaged parts by the GWC (POWERTRAIN PLUS) warranty. These problems have caused significant financial losses to my business, family, and me personally, as well as severe impacts on our health and emotional well-being. Personally, the stress and frustration led me to the Emergency Room at Jackson West Hospital, where I was diagnosed with an ischemic stroke (Right MCA Stroke) and later surgically treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital. To date, no one has contacted us or provided an effective solution, which constitutes gross negligence and a flagrant violation of my consumer rights. I request that this case be reviewed immediately, and a fair investigation be opened so that actions like this do not go unpunished. I also request full financial compensation for all damages, including emotional and moral distress, punitive damages, and a full refund of the vehicle. I have videos and other photos that I can send but it doesn't like me send it because the videos and photos are too big in storage, but I can send it via email. For no apparent reason my vehicle is shifting itself into Neutral while driving. The car will suddenly completely slow down to a stop and in order to restart the car, I have to put it in park. I took my 2020ford eco sport to fix the recall at Grapevine Texas Ford dealership. They took about 10 days to work on my car and said that the recall fix is complete. I was able to pick up the car from dealership and drive home, however when I started the car again, it had the Check engine light on. I called the dealership right away and they asked me to bring back the car right away. While I was
... driving the car back to the dealership, I realized the car would barely accelerate. I was already on the highway while I was figuring out what’s going on. I somehow made it to the dealership and is currently being looked into. I can’t trust if that car is safe anymore and I can’t trust if Ford technicians can fix the problem. They have created a huge safety hazard for me and family. They didn’t tell me about any of these risks when I went to pick up the car after service recall fix. I can’t trust the ford technicians anymore. I’m glad that I’m alive. I’m not sure if the people at the dealership took my problem seriously enough. Anyways I would like to file a complaint to NHTSA hoping someone would help.Read more

Vehicle is stalling out. While driving down the road any accelaration is fine but when stopped at a stop sign/light and you give the vehicle throttle from a dead stop or rolling stop it will either stall out and die or it will stall, surge, and come back. This is a serious issue as we drive this vehicle on busy road ways and could cause or will cause us to have an accident. I have had it the deale
... rship and they checked the vehicle for any engines codes but none are present so they are not sure why the vehicle is stalling out. This is not a constant problem but a intermittent one where it comes and goes so you never know when it will happen. I am not sure when this first started happening as my wife usually drives the vehicle but I noticed it doing this about 2 months ago when leaving a gas station after getting fuel when I started leaving and I put the vehicle in drive and started to leave and it died on me with the message center telling me to put the vehicle in park to start.Read more

I’ve only just gotten this car last year February 2024 and not sure if the owner before got the notice or not but I have not received a notice stating anything about the AWD system malfunctioning. It is definitely a safety risk if I was to be driving in a snow or ice storm and my traction control stopped working; without the AWD the car is harder to accelerate and control sometimes. I haven't gotten if fixed since they want me to pay for something that they failed to make sure was working correctly. The transmission in my 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe has failed multiple times. The first failure occurred within the first two years of owning the vehicle. After that replacement, the same symptoms returned, and t
... he transmission had to be replaced a second time, again under warranty. The most recent transmission replacement was only a few weeks ago, and the same symptoms are already returning — the vehicle hesitates, jerks, and occasionally loses power when trying to accelerate. These problems create serious safety concerns, especially when merging onto highways or crossing intersections. The hesitation and loss of power make it unpredictable and unsafe to drive. I have two young children who ride in car seats, and I no longer feel confident that this vehicle is safe for my family. Hyundai service employees have acknowledged that this is a known, recurring issue with this model’s transmission design. However, no permanent fix or recall has been issued, and I have been told to continue replacing the transmission under warranty until the coverage runs out. This approach does not address the underlying safety defect. The issue has been confirmed by Hyundai dealerships multiple times. The check engine light has come on before each failure. I am reporting this because repeated transmission failures that cause hesitation and power loss are a clear safety risk, and Hyundai has not provided a lasting solution.Read more

This is a brand new car and unacceptable. When I researched this issue online, it appears to be a very common issue in the 2022-2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz’s. I hope that this will be investigated.Read more

Driving on our way to a JEEP INVASION (local). We had our 3 children in the back seat. The jeep was traveling about 45 mph and the accelerator stopped working. Thankfully we were not on a freeway and no one was behind us. We had to pull over and turn the jeep off and then back on. It happened 3 times on the way there. We took it into the local dealership and they ran a test on it. We were told it
... happened because of the UConnect update performed over the weekend. We are currently trying to get out of our lease. We only have 16k miles on it and have taken it into the dealership 5+ times due to issues similar to this. But we have never had to worry about our safety the previous times. It has become a driving risk for us and we do not feel comfortable taking our children in it anymore. I feel like the vehicle shutting down felt the same as the brake system not working while we were driving. We had the 4xe battery replaced in the past year because we were left stranded in a parking lot because the vehicle would not turn on.Read more

I bought a Hyundai Tucson Hybrid 2025 on Aug. 7, 2025. My car has 1541 miles on Oct. 8. I tried to drive my car out of the garage, and the engine would start, but it wouldn't move forward or backward. There were three warnings on the dashboard: Powertrain, hybrid, and something. Hyundai headquarters called and said there was a problem with my car. They will send a tow truck. It has been one week s
... ince my car was taken to the dealer. I haven't heard back. When I called today, they said there was a problem with the TCM and they ordered a module. So, I guess I just have to wait and see.Read more

The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and attempting to accelerate after a stop, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal. In addition, the transmission unexpectedly downshifted before slamming into gear. The contact stated that when the vehicle slammed into gear, the contact was violently
... pushed into the back of the seat. No warning lights were illuminated, but the message “Shift to Park” was displayed on the instrument panel. The contact stated that during the failure, the brake pedal was depressed to reboot, and the contact had to manually move the leather cover on the shift lever to move the lever. The contact stated that whenever the temperature on the transmission was at 180 degrees, the transmission would downshift. The vehicle was taken to several dealers; however, the dealers were unable to replicate that failure. The solenoid valve was replaced on the vehicle; however, the failure persisted. The contact related the failures to Technical Service Bulletin: PIP5819B. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 6,300.Read more

My 2022 Nissan Altima has been experiencing transmission issues for about a month. The car hesitates, lunges, and shudders when accelerating from a stop. At around 60,000 miles, I had the transmission fluid flushed, and the shop confirmed the transmission fluid was clean with no metal debris. Despite that, the symptoms continued getting increasingly dangerous in high traffic areas. Today 10/16/25
... (the car is still at 60k miles) while turning at an intersection, the car hesitated and lunged before finally moving. This delay in acceleration created a dangerous situation in traffic, and another driver honked because my vehicle wouldn’t go. Immediately afterward, the car went into what seemed like “limp mode” and would not accelerate at all. There were no warning lights or messages before or during this incident. (which can be verified by the transmission place i got the car serviced at) After pulling into a parking lot and shutting the car off for about 10 minutes, I restarted it and the check engine light came on with a message stating: “CVT malfunction – service now.” The vehicle had to be towed because it felt unsafe to drive on busy highways. I believe this is a serious safety concern because the car can fail to move in traffic without warning.Read more
