While stopped in traffic with the brake pedal depressed and Auto Hold enabled, my 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L has repeatedly jerked and shifted itself into Park without driver input. This typically occurs after being stopped approximately 20+ seconds, often while a turn signal is activated for a left or right turn. When the failure occurs, the vehicle disables driver-assist systems, the turn signal
... s behave like emergency flashers, false rear tail light error messages appear, and the check engine light turns on and remains illuminated. The vehicle will not move until the brake pedal is applied and the transmission is manually shifted back into Drive. The issue has occurred multiple times at different locations and dates. A recent repair replaced the vehicle’s primary electronics control module(s), but the same behavior occurred again afterward. Due to the unintended shift into Park and unpredictable system behavior, the vehicle is now parked and not being driven because I do not trust it to operate safely in traffic.Read more

SVC 4WD warning indicator light appeared in dash cluster. Vehicle has been taken to two certified Jeep service dealerships. Both have confirmed the issue is with the Power Transfer Unit and that it will need to be replaced. Jeep does not have a replacement PTU for this widely known issue. A recall has been issued for this very problem, but our vehicle and many others from 2019 are not include

Both dealerships have stated that the vehicle should not be driven due to safety concerns for loss of power if the PTU should completely fail. 6 months have passed with no indication of any effort from Stellantis to even repair the recalled vehicles, let alone the same vehicles with the same problem that are not included in the recall. A report was filed with Stellantis.Read more

On multiple occasions now the transmission has failed to switch gears causing the RPM's to stay elevated while no additional power has been created. This happens mostly on the highway at 55 to 60 mph but has also happened on side/back roads especially when changing elevation (up or down hill). The repair shop said it is throwing transmission repair codes and that this type of transmission is not
... worth fixing. They would simply need to order a new one from Nissan at between $7,500.00 to $8,500.00 dollars. Great money making scheme for Nissan. There are multiple complaints of this problem for the 2014 Murano and there are recalls on Nissan transmissions from other years. This seems to be a significant problem with the 2014 Murano as well and should be considered a recall situation for which Nissan is responsible.Read more

2019 Ford F150 is having a transmission issues. This issue is known by Ford Motor Company which is addressed in a TSB. The problem has been reproduced and confirmed by the local Ford Dealer, but the cost would be between $6000-$7500 so far.

While driving, the vehicle intermittently loses engine power without warning. The loss of power occurs at normal driving speeds and during acceleration, creating an unsafe condition in traffic. When the issue occurs, the vehicle hesitates and fails to respond to throttle input, making it unsafe to merge or maintain speed. The condition occurs intermittently and does not consistently trigger warni
... ng lights or diagnostic trouble codes. Despite the absence of warning lights or stored codes, the loss of power is clearly felt while driving and presents a serious safety concern. The issue has occurred multiple times and has not been permanently resolved despite prior service visits. The intermittent nature of the failure and lack of codes makes diagnosis difficult, but the problem continues to recur and affects the safe operation of the vehicle. This loss of power creates a risk of stalling or sudden deceleration while driving, increasing the likelihood of a collision, especially in traffic or at intersections. The issue appears related to the engine timing or powertrain system.Read more

The vehicle has experienced recurring safety-related issues associated with the hybrid electrical and propulsion systems. During normal operation, warning messages related to the hybrid system appeared, and the vehicle entered reduced functionality or became unreliable to operate. These conditions created concern about potential loss of propulsion while driving. In addition to propulsion concerns,
... the vehicle was subject to manufacturer recalls related to the high-voltage battery system, including warnings regarding battery overheating and potential fire risk. Recall-related service was performed by an authorized dealer; however, safety concerns persisted after service was completed, and confidence in the safe operation of the vehicle was not restored. The ongoing nature of the electrical and hybrid system issues, combined with recall notices involving battery fire risk, created a safety concern for continued use of the vehicle, particularly due to the possibility of vehicle malfunction or battery-related hazards during normal operation or while parked. No crash or injury occurred, but the condition raised ongoing safety concerns. The issue has occurred more than once and was not permanently resolved despite dealer inspection and recall-related service.Read more

As I read the above comments/complaints on the 2014 Dodge Dart, I have realized that we all are having the same issues with the recall, the car not engaging in park, and the Keyfob not working properly where it takes from 5-30 minutes to turn the car off because it is still in the acc mode. Now the car has started yet ANOTHER problem that it doesn’t want to start. I paid for a tow to the repair
... shop and they checked everything out and could find absolutely nothing wrong, no codes showing up, nothing. I had bought a new battery, was about to replace the ignition switch and/or starter but the shop had experience with Dodge 2014 before and the same issues with no apparent issues?? I did pay for another key and fob which wasted $200 because even afterwards the fob wouldn’t release due to the car not going into the park position 100% and I’m still having all these problems. It is definitely a safety issue and we all are left here driving this piece of junk that the manufacturer doesn’t seem to have any answer or as they say “remedy” for the issue. And that’s another thing- we are having ISSUES not an issue. This problem has more involved than the recall and for the amount of people that have submitted a complaint should be an eye opener for the manufacturer - because most people don’t even report it because they don’t know to and the service department is going to get the money! There is and has been something going on with the entire braking, parking, transmission, cable, the last recall my car I was told wasn’t affected however the brakes went out totally without any warning or problem before hand. Said there was fluid or something that messed it up and it cost me $2000 to repair it when the exact issue was going on with the dodge dart 2013-2014 but of course MY CAR was not in that recall even though it had the same problem as the cats which were affected by the recall. I am reporting an unresolved safety recall on my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (recall 78C). This recall involves manufacturing debris left in the engine, which can cause sudden loss of power while driving and, in some cases, engine fires. There is currently no fix available for this recall. I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a serious and ongoing issue with my vehicle that has placed my safety at risk and resulted in significant inconvenience and financial burden due to General Motors’ failure to honor my warranty in a timely manner. While driving on the highway, my vehicle suddenly began losing power and displayed flashing warning messages indicating that it woul
... d not shift into gear or out of gear and that power could be lost. This created an extremely dangerous driving situation and posed a serious safety risk to me and other motorists. I brought the vehicle in for warranty service, but General Motors was unable to honor the warranty repair in a timely manner. As a result, I was without my vehicle for several months while it sat undrivable on the dealership lot. Once the vehicle was finally repaired and returned to me, the exact same transmission-related incident occurred again. Once again, I was left without the vehicle for an additional period of days. This repeat failure has severely shaken my confidence in the reliability and safety of the vehicle. When I picked up the vehicle after the subsequent repair, I was informed by a General Motors technician that the brakes and rotors were most likely pitted and damaged and would need repair or replacement because the vehicle had been sitting undrivable for such an extended period of time. I was explicitly told this damage was expected due to the prolonged inactivity caused by the unresolved warranty issue. It is critical to stress that the vehicle only sat undrivable for such a long period of time as a direct result of General Motors’ inability to honor the warranty in a timely manner. Despite this, I am now being told that the brake and rotor damage is considered a “maintenance issue,” even though a General Motors technician directly advised me that this damage would occur as a consequence of the vehicle sitting for months due to warranty delayRead more

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report an ongoing and concerning issue with my 2022 Ford Edge. My vehicle has begun hesitating when pressing the accelerator and jerking between 20 mph and 40 mph. Some days the issue is worse than others, but it has progressively made the vehicle feel unreliable and unsafe to drive. At times, it feels as though the vehicle may break down while in
... motion. After researching this issue, I have found that many other Ford Edge owners are experiencing the same symptoms, with the torque converter frequently identified as the cause. This appears to be a widespread and recurring problem rather than an isolated incident. Additionally, the vehicle will coast between approximately 2,000 and 5,000$. This behavior is not normal and raises serious concerns regarding drivability, safety, and long-term damage to the transmission. Given how common this issue appears to be among Ford Edge vehicles, I strongly believe this warrants further investigation and the establishment of a recall. Owners should not be financially responsible for a known and recurring manufacturing defect. I am requesting that Ford address this issue promptly and take responsibility for repairs associated with this problem. I appreciate your time and look forward to a resolution. I purchased a brand new 2025 Lincoln Aviator on 9/27/25, with 33 miles on it. I do not even make it home from the dealer before it started making a scrubbing/grinding noise, which subsequently led to the replacement of the transfer case and transmission on a vehicle with approx 180 miles on it. It calls into question the safety, reliability and quality of the vehicle

The Macan engine cooling system is defective and dangerous. It is made with a plastic cooling lines that are poorly placed (and concealed) where they are subject to high heat and pressure and therefore break suddenly. The danger is that it happens suddenly and you have to pull over right away even in dangerous road situations to avoid complete engine damage/failure. My husband and I drove the Maca
... n to Mammoth Lakes for instance for the holidays and had to pull over in a dangerous side of a windy cliff, which posed great risk to our safety. Not to mention the difficulty and danger for a tow truck to access us. It was further pitch dark and snowing. We waited hours for the tow truck which thankfully came but we easily could have had to spend the night in a dangerous spot. Porsche should have let its customers know about this vulnerability so we could have changed these plastic lines even at our cost to avoid such a possible situation. They were sued for this same defect on the Cayenne. It's something I would have paid for and changed but they are not wanting to publicize this dangerous issue. They are putting customers' lives at risk. When we were (luckily) towed to Mammoth, Mammoth does not have the Porsche parts nor many mechanics so the mechanic (who was booked out for weeks) there did a temp fix and we risked our lives on the way back as well. We paid around $700 for the temporary repair and maybe another $1341 for the permanent change of the lines when we returned. This is a serious problem. We need to be able to trust otherwise reputable manufacturers like Porsche and our government entities. Happy to provide receipts. This vehicle needs to be recalled. At very least, the customers need to know about the issue because the plastic cooling tubes are concealed and not obvious. Further the lines cannot be replaced where the vehicle stalled and have to be towed to a mechanic.Read more

On 10/14, I was driving the car to my job, when the car suddenly switched from its electric battery power to its internal combustion engine. The vehicle's information screen only showed that the battery was unavailable. I was able to operate the car on only the internal combustion engine to arrive at work. However, when I went to leave several hours later, the car would not start. The car was towe
... d to a dealership and apparently repaired after about a week. However, the repair, a software reset, did not fixt the underlying issues, and on 10/27, after having the car for five days, the car again failed on my way to work, displaying a "Shift to Park" message and not starting. I towed the car to the same dealership, and they had it until 11/04. I recovered my car and drove it again to work that same day, but the car failed again due to the dealership not correctly diagnosing the issue, which appears to be the BECM, a failure related to bulletin N232432680. Due to this issue, I was left stranded on a busy highway for several hours on multiple occasions, and have not have a working vehicle since 10/14, meaning I have had to call off of work on multiple days, losing non-trivial amounts of income and undue economic hardship, due to this issue. Neither the dealership nor General Motors have offered any kind of help or support, and have generally attempted to avoid responding to my repeated phonecalls. Prior to this issue, there were no warnings or symptoms that I observed.Read more
