ON TWO OCCASIONS WHILE ACCELERATING FROM A STOP WITH TRANSMISSION IN DRIVE, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE. ENGINE REVVED IN AS IF IN NEUTRAL. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS WITH THROTTLE INPUT, THE TRANSMISSION SLAMMED INTO GEAR. ON ANOTHER OCCASIONS WHILE DRIVING AT APPROX 65MPH WITH THE TRANSMISSION

AS PER YOUR WEBSITE DEFECT INVESTIGATIONS. MY 2005 MERCURY MONTEREY I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AT 65 MPH AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE ENGINE RPM ROSE UP RAPIDLY.
