MY PROBLEM IS WITH MY 2003 TOYOTA RAV 4. RECENTLY I WAS DRIVING AND THE VEHICLE STARTED TO HAVE SOME PROBLEMS. I STARTED IT AGAIN AND HAD NO PROBLEMS AND I DID MAKE IT HOME. AFTER SOME RESEARCH I FOUND MULTIPLE SIMILAR PROBLEMS LIKE THIS WITH THIS VEHICLE HOWEVER NO RECALLS HAVE BEEN ISSUED. IN THE LAST MONTH FEB 2010 ON, THE AUTOMATIC LOCKING/SECURITY MECHANISM FOR THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR HAS FAILED (SCHEDULED TO BE LOOKED IN TWO DAYS) AND TODAY OUR TRANSMISSION/GEARBOX LITERALLY EXPLODED UNDER THE HOOD AT 6,000 MILES.
