I HAVE A 2010 VOLKSWAGEN GTI THAT HAS A DSG TRANSMISSION THAT SLIPS,CLUNKS,AND HAS A POWER LOSS. THERE HAS BEEN 53000 OF THESE TRANSMISSIONS RECALLED. I HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP OVER THREE TIMES. THEY OFFER NO SOLUTION. I FEAR THAT IT WILL BREAK DOWN AND POSSIBLY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. I WRITING YOU FOR HELP. *TR

I WAS ON I-95 N SPEED 65 MPH. MY CAR REVVED TO 4-5 RPM AND I NOTICED THAT EVEN AS I WAS PRESSING ON THE ACCELERATOR THAT THE CAR WAS NOT GAINING SPEED BUT DECELERATING. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE CALIBER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATE 30 MPH THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE TRANSMISSION LIGHT ILLUMINATED. SHE DROVE ONTO THE EMERGENCY LANE FOR 20 MINUTES AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO FUNCTION NORMALLY. THE DEALER REPLACED THE COMPUTER CHIP. THE FAILURE HAPPENED A WEEK LATER AND WAS TAKEN BACK TO DEALER WHO STATED THAT THEY DID NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX THE FAILURE. SHE THEN TOO

2003 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE TRANSMISSION. THE COST TO FIX THIS PROBLEM WITH THE BEETLE IS WAY OUT OF LINE. AN VOLKSWAGEN SHOULD HAVE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. WITH ALL THE OTHER HARD WORKING PEOPLE THAT HAS HAD THE SAME PART TO BREAK. PLEASE LOOK AT THIS AND DO SOMETHING. *TR
