Crank but no start. Found fuse 27 melted. This fuse supplies power to the fuel pump relay which gives the fuel pump power to run. The melted fuse had lost its connectivity. The fuse is a 20 amp. The fuse was not blown. Unable to determine the cause of the heat to melt the fuse. I searched YouTube and found that this is a common problem with the f150 with the range of 2010 to 2014. Also found t
... hat several parts dealers offer a F27 fuse relocation kit as a work around for the problem. The incident happened at home where I was able to research the problem. What if I got stranded in the middle of nowhere, no cell service, and 25 below zero? Worse yet, could this hot spot start a fire under the hood? Why there has not been a recall on this fuse is beyond reasoning tthat the repair is more costly than a life!Read more

I own a 2016 Audi A6 3.0T. After filling the fuel tank completely, the vehicle only traveled approximately 190–200 miles before the fuel gauge indicated empty. This represents a sudden and significant loss of fuel range compared to normal operation. There are no warning lights, check engine lights, fuel smells, visible leaks, rough idle, or abnormal noises. The vehicle operates normally otherwi
... se. The issue appears to involve excessive fuel consumption or incorrect fuel management without any driver warning. This condition poses a potential safety risk because the vehicle may unexpectedly run out of fuel while driving, which could result in loss of power in traffic or on highways, increasing the risk of an accident. The issue has been observed repeatedly after refueling. At the time of this report, the vehicle has not yet been inspected by a dealer or independent repair facility, but diagnostic evaluation is planned. Based on owner research and symptoms, the issue may be related to a fuel system, engine management, or emissions-related component malfunction that does not trigger a warning indicator. No prior warning messages or lamps were displayed before or during the occurrence.Read more

Based on the current recall for the 2020 Ford Escape, fuel injectors could crack, become hot and further leading to a fire under the hood. This letter of notice was sent in August 2025, its now nearly 2026 with zero repair in order. This is a huge safety issue, having a recall for something that could cause a fire screams safety issue!! Being informed by a dealership that there is currently no upd
... ate, no parts, or currently no fix to this issue. That also screams safety issue. I don't want to drive a vehicle that has a pretty major safety issue and not have any idea if or when it will be repaired. Personally I am looking for a way to trade this vehicle in or legally look at laws how this works as I have a family to transport in this vehicle and no longer want to risk our safety. Its absolutely insane to have a pretty major recall open for this length of time and have zero repair for it.Read more

My son & I took the car out two days after I bought it. Wanted to see how things looked at night. I took an unfamiliar rd ,( why,I dont know) Enjoying the ride and all the dash lights and bright headlights. Coming up to what appeared to be a slight downhill, curved rd, The car suddenly would not let me steer or brake or, What the heck! I thought its broken and we are going to crash in the trees!
... Realizing the car shut itself off,im asking, ok yelling at my son, what do I do??? IT took all I had to try & stay calm, and drive like , back when. (No power steering,)but not sure what to do about brakes. Thank God, I had made that corner ok and as rd leveled, I was slowing enough to pull out of the way of the guy behind me in such a hurry. Pulling to the curb, slowly using ebrake, I stopped finally. Took me a good half hour to stop shaking to get out & let my son have a look. Gas tank still full, as it was a few weeks earlier when we test drove. He tried to start , the engine tried to start but just wouldn't cooperate. Didn't know what to look for under hood. So called a friend who thank goodness found us, bringing a battery, tow hook & gas. Hooked up battery charger, poured a little gas, stood out there freezing till they went to try & start & his magic worked. Started up and was on our way. No problem the rest of the night. Texted the people the next day asking about that & she said they never had any such problem. We tested the battery which was fine & still lots of gas. It happened again a couple weeks later. I inquired again about that problem & a couple other things. But, no the cars been great with only brakes replaced the time they had the vehicle. Ok, well this happen again, so I looked into it only to find there has been a recall on something to do with gastank & floater or such. We noticed if we keep a full tank of gas, It doesn't seem to happen. What I read was a recall which they said had never been a problem & never recieved. Well....??We wonder.Read more

I started smelling a little gas in the 20th. And on the 21st it got a lot worse so I took it to the dealership. This is the same place that replaced the engine because it failed and it was a recall. I let them know of the recall and they said it is not covered. They told me it was the high-pressure fuel line that connects to the pump. I have provided a picture of what the tech said.

Incident date: Dec 27, 2025
The fuel system, especially the fuel vent system is improperly installed preventing fueling of the vehicle. This line fails to vent and is pinched, causing fuel leaks and risking fire hazard. The vehicle is unable to be fueled properly, also impacting ignition and reducing fuel flow to the engine whole driving. This is a known issue with other identical vehicles having been recalled. However this
... vehicle has not been recalled and the dealers are selling this vehicle with a known safety hazard while lying about having fixed the issue. Our safety is at risk because the line may be pinched or punctured creating a fuel leak. Fueling the vehicle results in splashback of fuel on to the person pumping. Poor venting could result in sputtering or stalling while driving at highway speeds. The problem was reproduced by the selling dealer, by the preparation technician, acknowledged by the dealer, and again acknowledged by the Ford service technician. The Ford dealership is the only one to acknowledge that this is a problem that needs to be repaired, even though the problem was created by the RV manufacturer. Everyone is aware of this issue at the RV dealership, at the Forest River and East to West manufacturing plants as well as local ford dealerships. They are willfully selling this vehicle despite the known risk to our family's safety as well as everyone else on the road. All Ford F600 RVs made by any branch of forest river, including Dynamax and East to West should be recalled for all VINs until they hold their manufacturing team accountable for doing this correctly.Read more

Incident date: Oct 14, 2025
On 10/14, I was driving the car to my job, when the car suddenly switched from its electric battery power to its internal combustion engine. The vehicle's information screen only showed that the battery was unavailable. I was able to operate the car on only the internal combustion engine to arrive at work. However, when I went to leave several hours later, the car would not start. The car was towe
... d to a dealership and apparently repaired after about a week. However, the repair, a software reset, did not fixt the underlying issues, and on 10/27, after having the car for five days, the car again failed on my way to work, displaying a "Shift to Park" message and not starting. I towed the car to the same dealership, and they had it until 11/04. I recovered my car and drove it again to work that same day, but the car failed again due to the dealership not correctly diagnosing the issue, which appears to be the BECM, a failure related to bulletin N232432680. Due to this issue, I was left stranded on a busy highway for several hours on multiple occasions, and have not have a working vehicle since 10/14, meaning I have had to call off of work on multiple days, losing non-trivial amounts of income and undue economic hardship, due to this issue. Neither the dealership nor General Motors have offered any kind of help or support, and have generally attempted to avoid responding to my repeated phonecalls. Prior to this issue, there were no warnings or symptoms that I observed.Read more

I own a 2021 Hyundai Sonata 1.6T, which has an open NHTSA safety recall (25V796000) related to fuel tank pressurization and fire risk. During this visit, the dealership replaced a fuel system sensor without my authorization, which I did not approve or consent to. The dealership has not provided documented test results explaining how the recall condition was ruled out and has not documented recall inspection on the repair order. I expressed that I do not feel safe driving the vehicle due to the fuel system recall and drivability issues. The dealership also refused to provide alternate transportation. I am concerned the recall is not being handled in compliance with NHTSA requirements and that unauthorized repairs were performed while attempting to shift a recall-related condition to the customer. On the afternoon of Saturday, December 12th 2025 I was preparing my car for a trip an hour north and back to drop my daughter off with her grandmother. I was charging my car with my Level 2 charger and preheating my car. Upon leaving for the trip, within a half mile I heard a loud popping sound coming from the rear of the vehicle and immediately had a warning on the vehicle stating "Stop Vehicle
... and Check Power Supply". The vehicle soon started to lose drive power, and I had to perform a U-turn and then parked at the nearby Quaill Volunteer Fire Department to perform a basic safety check. Knowing that I probably had the Hyundai Ioniq 5 ICCU issue, I knew that my car would soon have no power so I waited for an opportune time to leave the fire station to coast back to my house. After arriving home, I contacted Hyundai Roadside Assistance and my car was soon towed away. I was extremely fortunate to be so close to home when this happened - from what I know of the issue, had we been stranded on the highway with this issue we would likely not have been able to use the HVAC systems in the vehicle for long. At this point, the issue has been diagnosed at the dealership as an ICCU issue which is covered by warranty. I have not been told to modify anything about my charging amperage, and there has been no admission that the ICCU part itself is faulty (though I believe it must be - my vehicle has less than 8,000 miles and the previous model years of Ioniq 5 all had ICCU recalls already.)Read more

I am reporting a critical safety failure involving my 2017 Ram 1500 with approximately 89,000 miles. The component that failed was the fuel‑tank support system, specifically the frame section that holds the fuel‑tank brackets and strap. The frame in that area had completely rusted through, causing the fuel tank to drop and hang dangerously close to the ground. The failed components are still o
... n the vehicle and are available for inspection upon request. This failure created a severe safety hazard. A partially detached fuel tank poses an immediate risk of fuel leakage, fire, or complete separation of the tank while driving, endangering both myself and other motorists. The issue has been confirmed by an independent, certified mechanic. They advised that the corrosion was so extensive that the frame would need to be disassembled to attempt any repair, which they were unable to perform. At this time, the vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or any other official entity beyond the independent mechanic. There were no warning lamps, messages, unusual noises, or other symptoms prior to the failure. The problem became apparent only when I visually noticed the fuel tank hanging lower than normal. Given the seriousness of this defect and the potential for catastrophic failure, I am requesting immediate review and guidance on next steps.Read more

On Thursday, December 18, 2025, while driving approximately 70 mph on US-30 in Indiana, my vehicle suddenly displayed a warning indicating speed would be limited and that I needed to place the vehicle in Park and restart it. At the time, I was traveling in the left lane with semi-trucks beside and behind me. The abrupt loss of speed and ability to accelerate created an immediately dangerous situat

After placing the vehicle in Park and attempting a restart, the vehicle did not recover as expected and could not be shifted out of Park. I was stranded on the shoulder of a high-speed highway with heavy truck traffic. I have an open case with Jeep Customer Care and have made numerous calls. I have been routed between Customer Care, the Recall team, and Roadside Assistance. The vehicle currently has multiple open recalls, including those for potential power loss due to software defects, engine contamination with debris that can cause failure, fire risk, or loss of drive power, and fire risks from the hybrid battery system. No representative can confirm whether these recalls are related to my failure, despite the symptoms (sudden speed limitation, failure to restart, and inability to shift out of Park) closely matching descriptions in the power loss and engine failure recalls. On December 18th I was promised a case manager callback within one business day. That did not occur. I called again 12/22 and was routed to Roadside Assistance again, which cannot help me, and then to Recall and I just received a supervisor callback from the Recall department, and he provided no additional resolution. I have repeatedly requested escalation in all of my calls and have been continuously told there is no escalation. While driving on the freeway at normal highway speed, the vehicle experienced a sudden and catastrophic engine failure. The engine immediately lost power, and the vehicle shut down within seconds. There was no prior warning or opportunity to take corrective action. The vehicle became completely disabled and could not be driven. This occurred late at night with limited traffic, and I was LUCKY to
... be near a freeway exit. I was able to coast toward the exit, but the engine seized fully, resulting in total loss of propulsion and blocking the freeway exit ramp. Law enforcement had to assist due to the disabled vehicle creating a traffic obstruction and safety hazard. A tow truck was required to remove the vehicle because it could not be restarted or moved. Under normal traffic conditions, this sudden loss of engine power at freeway speed could have resulted in a SERIOUS, potentially FATAL COLLISION. The outcome depended on luck, timing, and location rather than any safety system functioning as intended. The engine was later diagnosed by an authorized Hyundai dealership as seized due to internal failure. Hyundai denied warranty coverage because a software safety campaign had not been completed prior to the failure, even though the failure occurred suddenly and without warning, leaving no opportunity to complete the campaign. However, at the time of the failure, the NHTSA recall lookup tool showed ZERO unrepaired recalls associated with this vehicle’s VIN. The campaign referenced by Hyundai is intended only to detect certain engine conditions and does not repair engine defects. In this case, the engine failed before any detection or warning could occur. The vehicle had just been refueled and was equipped with four brand-new tires, confirming it was being operated normally. This incident involved an unexpected and complete loss of engine power at freeway speed due to an apparent engine defect, presenting a SERIOUS SAFETY RISK to the driver and other motorists.Read more

The vehicle experienced repeated failures involving multiple systems, including the transmission system (transmission replacement), powertrain/engine system (cylinder-related repairs), electronic control systems (vehicle computer/control module replaced multiple times), electrical system (ongoing electrical faults), and rear safety systems (backup camera failure). The vehicle is available for insp
... ection upon request. These failures created ongoing safety concerns due to loss of vehicle reliability and malfunction of safety-related electrical systems, raising concern about unexpected mechanical or electrical failure during operation. The issues were confirmed and documented by Ford-authorized dealerships and independent service centers. Despite repeated repairs, the same or related problems continued to occur. The vehicle was inspected and repaired by Ford dealerships; however, one servicing dealership (Ford of Ventura) later closed, leaving unresolved issues without continuity of service. Warning lights and system alerts occurred prior to failures along with ongoing electrical malfunctions. Exact dates of first warning indicators are UNKNOWN, but symptoms recurred over time despite repairs. The vehicle was purchased with approximately 38,500 miles. Due to COVID-19-related delays, dealership availability and parts shortages caused months-long wait times for service, and when the vehicle was finally inspected by a dealership, it had approximately 60,000 miles. Major system failures occurred well under 100,000 miles. Ford later declined assistance, citing out-of-state purchase and maintenance not performed exclusively at Ford dealerships, despite regular routine maintenance. The cause of the failures is UNKNOWN, but the pattern suggests systemic mechanical and electrical defects rather than owner misuse. All invoiced available as system will not upload them at this time.Read more

My vehicle is now at an independent transmission shop and they say, I need a new transmission. I don't have the money to fix this. And Ford is wrong if we're not correcting it i will have the documents today. We're ford, it would only give me a small $7000 trade in allowance. Because it needed a transmission. I will be receiving the paperwork from Ford and the paperwork from the transmission shop that has my vehicle. Thank you.Read more

Incident date: Jul 29, 2025
The contact owns a 2020 Honda Accord. The contact stated that when attempting to start the vehicle, it would rev up and take an extended 15-second start before starting. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who was not able to duplicate the issue; however, did presume that a defective fuel system caused the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
... The failure mileage was approximately 48,000.Read more

Check engine light is on and off for the past month. The day before I took it to the dealer the light went off. I went into my vehicle appointment, and the check engine light was off and there were old codes for the fuel temperature. He reset the codes, and the engine light went off. I drove off and obtained fuel the next day and when I filled the tank, the check engine light went back on again. O
... n December 21st, 2025 I drove it to an AutoZone for the free engine code diagnostic tool/test. The code that presents itself is "Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Intermittent". This is the second issue with the vehicles electrical system. The first was two weeks after I bought the vehicle in March 2025 the vehicle would not start. Come to find out, the electronic shifter was wired wrong from the factory and a whole new was ordered and installed. I will have to take it back again to the dealer.Read more

We bought this vehicle from a local dealer in March (9months ago) in the time we’ve had it… it’s been in the shop for about 6 of them. 1- About 3 weeks after the purchase it shut off while I was driving on the highway. We then took it to the dealership in Jasper, Ga bc the error code said the pcm needed to be reset. They couldn’t get it to reset so they embarked on a diagnostic that took
... 3 months to discover the fuel pump was “too small”. The dealership repair guy assured us this was a solve to the issue, they’re tech put 200 miles on it an had no issues. 2- The day we got it back the check engine light came on and while going around a curve to the right, the wheel locked up on me and almost drove me into a mailbox. We turned around and went right back to the dealership. They had it for another couple weeks and told us we needed a new rack and pinion. We couldn’t afford the $6000 they wanted to fix that. So we then called the guy we bought it from and he had a local repair shop take a look and they replaced some parts on the rack and said it was good to go. 3- got it back and the check engine came on again, they code said pcm needed to be reset. We couldn’t get the dealership to call us back so we went to the local shop o’reileys recommended and they deducted some gauges needed to be replaced. 4- within a couple weeks the van was sputtering and cutting off again, we took it back to the local shop and the only thing they could think to do was change the auxiliary battery. 5- we’ve had it for about 2 weeks… 2 days again I went to start it up and it cut off. I had to wait a few minutes to try again and it started. Then yesterday while driving we stopped a red light and something popped and the dash lit up with errors and a grinding noise started. We went to accelerate to turn and started rolling backwards while in drive. We slammed on the brakes, turned the cautions on and put it in park and still rolled backwards. We had to get a tow back to the local shop.Read more

The problems with the KIa Sol began with the "check engine" light continuously coming on in January of 2025. Took it to the dealership twice and numerous repairs were made and the vehicle continues to malfunction. It sputters and has created a dangerous condition to drive. For example, my 21 year old son was on the freeway and the car started sputtering. Thank God that the truck behind him moved
... lanes when he saw the car was struggling or it could have ended tragically. That was incredibly scary. I took it to the dealership again. They kept for two weeks trying to find the root of the problem, I spent $4,000 to "fix" it. When I drove it around town it did the same again, which put my brother and I in danger. The dealership finally said that the car needs a catalytic converter, which I was quoted as costing approximately $5000 dollars. I have spent a lot of money to try to fix this car and have been in two dangerous situations because the problem was not located. I have been trying in good faith to work with the dealership and KIA corporate to put a new catalytic converter by requesting a good will gesture.Read more

As I was driving myself and child on the interstate 65 mph the vehicle all of a sudden dropped speed and would not accelerate. I drifted the car off the interstate off ramp and pulled into a store parking lot. Luckily, we did not cause an accident or hit anything or anyone. All the lights on car's dashboard blinking some examples are EPS, VSA, Malfunction lamp, Breaking system, check engine light,
... etc. My car did not show that it was running hot, was not smoking, however would not accelerate. The car had a slight rattle, running bad, shaking slightly; all in all, not working appropriately. No earlier indication that something was wrong just came all of a sudden, no warning at all. Car was brought to Billy Navarre in Lake Charles, LA, where they concluded that head gasket was blown. I had to come out of pocket to fix the head gasket and all of the other problems that it caused. Car milage 84,097, bought brand new in 2018. This is a major safety issue for the public! Multiple people have this same problem. I have documentation on all the work the dealership completed. And I have filed a report to Honda.Read more
