Incident date: Jan 20, 2026

Check engine light came on after attempting a remote start and failed. Upon using an OBD-II code reader, it gave the code: P2421 - EVAP Vent Valve stuck open. This part is not covered under the 8/80k federal emissions warranty but is still an issue and is affecting emissions. There were no other alerts or warnings issued before attempting the remote start that caused the issue.

The ICCU failed at 11,000 miles and 11 months into the lease. When the ICCU fails, the car becomes inoperable. This was a major safety hazard since it broke down on a major US highway and I was barely able to get off to the side of the road. This seems to be affecting a large number of Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 models.

We heard a pop noise and then received low 12 volt low battery warning. The Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) might be the root cause of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric vehicle. Car went into slow turtle mode and we could barely move the car. we pulled over and found a safe spot to park car. we had car towed to Hyundai dealership since car was not operational.

This car has some fuel injector problems. I've replaced them and it's still running very crappy. I've read a lot and seen a lot of people getting their fuel injectors fixed with this year of vehicle and now it smells like it's flooding out and Honda should be covering this. This has been an ongoing issue. I've tried to fix it. It's not working. This is car is a lemon.

Add a stoplight or stop sign at a full and complete stop…. I pressed down the accelerator and nothing happens for about a second and a half… When it finally does respond, it jumps as if it was struggling to get into gear and popped itself… However, then it goes right back to normal.. But the slow starting happens very often. Definite lag when punching on the gas.

My 2019 BMW 330i has a recurring cooling system defect, including coolant leaks, heater inoperative, and risk of engine overheating. The defect began while the vehicle was under warranty and was repaired by BMW, but it recurred. BMW later instructed me not to drive the vehicle due to safety concerns, yet declined responsibility and transportation. The vehicle remains unsafe to operate.

Unknown. Intermittently when merging into highway traffic from the onramp, the truck will stall and I will lose acceleration.
