FUEL TANK LEAKS GASOLINE. an alarming amount of fuel leaks and this is an issue that seams common among BMW F30 chasis. In my case when my car is ful tank it starts dripping fuel, visible. the problem seems to be a seal that is made to flex but with time that seal fails and creates a fire hazard due to high volatile fumes and liquid gas leakage. I was able to notice as I parked my car when arrivi

Incident date: Dec 12, 2024
Honda issued a safety recall in February 2024 for a possible inoperable fuel pump that may cause a vehicle to lose drive power, or stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. It is now December 2024 and replacement parts are still not available.
Incident date: Dec 12, 2024
Head Gasket failure. This causes the car to begin misfiring/stalling while accelerating. This is seriously dangerous. It happens when you are accelerating. Then, since it's an emission/misfire issue, the car goes into limp mode and forces the car to no longer exceed the limp mode speed, which is usually like 30 or 35 mph.The stark difference from highway speed resulted in me almost getting rear-
... ended by a semi. This has happened to me on two different occasions and posses a legit safety concern for everyone. You can do a simple 2-second Google search and find an insane amount of people having the exact same issue. I am luckily trained in high stress and ooo shit scenarios, so I was able to successfully get the car off the road without dying or getting smoked by a semi or driver not expecting the car that just entered the highway to drastically be slowing down. However, the average person would probably not instinctively hit the hazards and get over/off the road and onto the side. This issue is completely unrelated to the fuel pump recall because if it was a fuel pump failure, the car would never end up in limp mode. Limp mode is almost always emissions related(IE misfiring from head gasket leakage).Read more

On Friday, December 6, 2024, my “check engine light” illuminated on my 2017 GMC Sierra pickup. The engine is the gasoline version of the 5.3 liter. I took my truck to Brogden Buick/GMC in Olathe, KS. They informed me the trouble code was 219a, indicating there was a problem with the fuel/air ratio. On Monday, December 9, 2024, I was contacted and informed the fuel injectors needed to be re
... placed at a cost of approx. $2700. Based upon research I’ve conducted GM’s fuel injectors have been a service concern since approximately 2014. Service bulletin DCS5097 (N182198000-Special Coverage Engine Fuel Injector) was issued on July 26, 2019 that included my engine configuration. However, this particular bulletin does not appear to cover my Kansas based vehicle. I just had my vehicle at Brogden for a previous check engine light two weeks ago. This required replacing the fuel cell pressure sensor at just over $700. These repairs seem to be related. I’m reading that 2023 and 2024 Chevrolet and GMC trucks are also having fuel injector issues. This seems to be an ongoing problem that GM does not appear to be appropriately addressing. My truck is relatively low mileage with only 58,786 miles. It has never towed, is garage kept and is maintained in a pristine condition. I’ve never experienced fuel injector issues any any previously owned vehicle .Read more

While driving the car I press the gas pedal and it loses power or won't accelerate at all, then all of a sudden something happens and it lunges forward fast it is scary I have almost crashed 2 times. This issues is intermittent, thus the driver has no control of when the car is going to drive properly when I doesn't it is scary. I'm have been relegated to 45 miles an hour on the freeway I cannot
... control any part of the car to ensure I can make a lane change if I need to to overt an accident. The reason I'm filing this is because Audi has known about this since at least 2010, there are TSB'S FOR EVERY YEAR REGARDING THIS PROBLEM EITHER EXACT OR a slight change of this problem because every car is different. Meaning how it's driven to where it is located and weather issues. AUDI HAS PREEMPTED THESE Issues bY stating the problem I'm having a long with thousands of others is a PERFORMANCE ISSUE BUT THIS IS WAY MORE THAN THAT. IT IS Definitely A SAFETY ISSUE WHEN YOUR CAR ALL OF A SUDDEN WONT ACCELERATE. THIS ISSUE CAN REMAIN FOR 45 MINUTES OR Literally A SECOND. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SAFETY Problem AND IF THEY MEANING AUDI HAD NOT HAD KNOWN ABOUT THIS PROBLEM FOR OVER A DECADE AND CONTINUE TO MAKE THESE CARS THE SAME WAY THEN I WOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO MAKE THIS REPORT IF THEY WOULD HAVE PUT THIS UNDER SAFETY AND NOT PERFORMANCE AND PREEMPTED A INVESTIGATION CIRCUMVENTING THE NTSB'S AUTHORITY BY PUTTING OUT A TSB BEFORE IT CAN BE INVESTIGATED. THE dealership REFUSES TO LOOK AT THE TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETINS WITHOUT A COINCIDING CODE, BUT THE SOFTWARE UPDATE DOES NOT STATE A CODE WITH IT BECAUSE IT'S FOR DECADES OF AUDIS. THE SOFTWARE UPDATE WILL FIX MY CAR AND I CANNOT DO THAT MYSELF SO I HAVE AN UNSAFE CAR.
