The primary component involved is the high-voltage charging system, specifically the charging port and connector interface. The vehicle previously experienced a confirmed failure involving a scorched charging port and a melted pin, which required replacement. The same symptoms have since returned, including heat at the charging interface and a burning odor. The vehicle is currently located at an a
... uthorized dealership and is available for inspection upon request. This condition presents a safety risk due to the potential for electrical overheating and possible fire hazard. In addition, the vehicle has experienced repeated loss of power while driving, which creates a risk in traffic conditions and could impact driver control and safety. The issue has been previously confirmed by the dealership, which replaced the charging port due to thermal damage. However, upon recurrence of similar symptoms, the dealership has refused to diagnose or service the vehicle, preventing further confirmation at this time. The vehicle has been inspected by an authorized dealership on multiple occasions for related issues, including the prior charging system failure. The manufacturer has not directly inspected the vehicle but has been contacted for assistance. Prior to the charging system failure, symptoms included heat at the charging connector and a burning odor. The vehicle has also exhibited electrical system irregularities and repeated loss of power while driving beginning after recall-related service in or around August 2024.Read more

While driving at highway speeds, the vehicle experienced a sudden jerking and a catastrophic loss of motive power (Limp Mode). Simultaneously, multiple safety systems failed, including the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control, and Road Departure Mitigation. The vehicle became a road hazard in active traffic. A certified Honda dealership technician inspected the vehi

Despite the documented nature of this design defect and its current litigation, American Honda Motor Co. has denied any assistance. The vehicle also has an open safety recall (24-009) for a fuel pump failure which presents identical safety symptoms.Read more

I was traveling with my family on the Ohio Turnpike. We were traveling west in our 2023 GMC Yukon Denali when we lost all propulsion and the engine seized. There was no warning lights or other symptoms prior to this incident on May 3, 2026. In fact, I had the vehicle in for the prescribed recall to test the engine for the known defect earlier in 2026. The vehicle passed that test and was g

Our safety and others on the turnpike were at risk while we were traveling at highway rates of speed with sudden loss of all propulsion. The vehicle was towed that evening to local GM dealer - Yark Chevy in [XXX] . Upon inspection on May 5, 2026, the dealership informed me the engine had seized and would be replaced by GM. They were unable to provide a timeline for this repair. I have the tow expense of $260.70 and now the uncertainty of when I might have a vehicle back. The safety of my family and all others traveling the Ohio Turnpike that date were at significant risk. The vehicle remains at Yark Chevy in Perrysburg, Ohio available for inspection upon request. 2017 Honda CRV Touring with VIN [XXX] . My son and daughter drove the car and all of a sudden all the lights started going off( it looks like Christmas lights). We got it scanned multiple times from different places where they have the scanner. It was showing P0304 Misfire #4 cylinder and U0401-68 ecm failure. We took it to the dealer and they found out the same code fuel injector needs to be r
... eplaced. I am single mom and didn't have the money to get it fix. Our car only had less than 21k. I stayed up to do more research online. Found out more about this common issues with same model. I contacted another dealer, explained my situation and he advised me to call honda corp to be added to the recall and mention goodwill. I immediately called the corporate but had to wait for their case mgr to get back with us. I asked my daughter to call the dealer where we got our car diagnosed, to ask svc advisor if it is safe to use the car and we were advised that it's ok to use. However my daughter was driving the car and all of a sudden it wasn't accelerating and only going around 5 miles per hour. She had to go back home and missed her classes. She was scared and I could just imagine how scary that was.How about if this happened when she was in the freeway? This could have caused a major accident. I don't understand why Honda only issued the recall to some cars with same model as ours if they already have lots of customers having same issue. I even read this issue was featured on ABC news. Honda did offer to help with lowering the fuel injector but I still have to pay $899.19 and around $204 for diagnosis. The svc advisor said they've been having a lot of same model cars coming in for fuel injector problems. I am reaching out hoping you can help direct us in getting the full reimbursement and hoping our car can be added to the recall so we can get reimburse.Honda should be fully liable for this due to known issue. I own a 2015 Ford Fusion SE. I bought it used when it only had 47,000 miles on it. Over the course of time since buying it in DEC 2022 until now, it has had low coolant that I have had to address but no visible leaks. Current mileage now is 87,100 and just recently the coolant was low again and the check engine light came on for DTC P0301 -Cylinder 1 misfiring. It has had rough start ups, rough id
... le, decreased acceleration, and poor fuel efficiency. I have found the problem to be Coolant Intrusion – Engine Defect Concern “Coolant intrusion” is a known engine design defect in which coolant leaks into the cylinders, leading to internal damage, misfires, and eventual engine failure. After researching it I found that many other people have had the very same issue with no help from Ford. This should be a recall as this is an internal issue with the short block and something that should have been disclosed before purchasing this model/engine. The only repair that will fix the core of the issue is replacing the entire short block which costs thousands of dollars, way more than the cost of the entire vehicle at this point. Without fixing the issue, the engine will fail. Again, this should be something Ford should pay to repair, not any customer who came into this blind.Read more

On 3/17/26, my husband and I started heading N on RT 83 to a medical appointment in our 2025 Honda CR-V Touring Sport. We were doing between 40 to 50 miles/hr. Twenty minutes later, we smelled faint smoke which was attributed to the trucks driving around us. Upon exit to our next route we immediately came to a red light and stopped and found heavy dark smoke coming from inside the front of our

When we finally found a safe parking a vehicle stopped to alert us of a noticeable fire at the bottom front of the Honda. We jumped out and 911 was called. By the time Police, followed by the Fire Dept, the front of my CR-V was engulfed by fire. I had just purchased this 2025 Touring Sport from Carmax 6 months earlier and it had just 7091 miles to it. I recently purchased a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and began experiencing serious issues almost immediately after taking possession of the vehicle. No error lights or warning messages were displayed. I was only able to partially clear the intersection before the vehicle came to a complete stop. At this time the vehicle would not allow itself to be put into neutral so I could not push it out of the intersection. After approximately 5min of attempting to move the vehicle, it once again began responding to accelerator requests and I was able to drive it home. It is now with the dealer and I await their response.Read more

The fuel tank protective shield underneath my vehicle has severely rusted and corroded, with visible perforations forming through the metal (photos attached). This shield protects the fuel tank from road debris and also helps secure the tank to the vehicle. The corrosion appears to be caused by galvanic corrosion: the steel fuel tank shield is bolted directly to an aluminum heat shield, and the co
... ntact between these dissimilar metals accelerates corrosion of the steel component. This is a known issue affecting numerous vehicles of this make and model, suggesting a design defect. Safety concerns: The shield is structural — it helps hold the fuel tank in place. Continued deterioration could compromise the tank's mounting and lead to the tank dropping or shifting. As the shield fails, the fuel tank itself becomes exposed to road debris that could puncture it, creating a fuel leak and fire hazard. There were no warning lights, messages, or symptoms inside the vehicle. The damage was only discovered during a visual inspection underneath the vehicle. The component is available for inspection upon request. UNKNOWN whether the manufacturer has issued any formal acknowledgment, but the failure pattern is consistent across many owner reports.Read more

Ford Motor issued two safety recalls regarding this, but has since closed them without providing a safe resolution for consumers. July 8 2019 Ford issued Ford Safety Recall program 19S22 (following 18S32) for stuck open canister purge valve (CPV). This can result in a failure to bleed the vacuum from the gas tank, and deforms the gas tank upon failure. This has been confirmed, reproduced, and r

I am filing a complaint regarding a 2020 Jaguar I-PACE with a documented history of repeated high-voltage battery and charging system failures. The vehicle is currently subject to active safety recalls (H570 and H572) involving high-voltage battery thermal risk, with no permanent remedy currently available. The manufacturer has imposed operational limitations, including charging restrictions. Due to the combination of repeated failures and the unresolved safety recall, the vehicle is unreliable, potentially unsafe, and cannot be reasonably sold or traded without significant financial loss. The manufacturer, Jaguar Land Rover, has declined to offer a repurchase or meaningful resolution despite being provided with full service history documenting the repeated failures. My 2017 Hyundai Tucson is experiencing dangerous, sudden engine stalling, which are symptoms directly matching Service Campaign T1B. These critical safety issues surfaced following a total engine replacement in June 2025. Despite the vehicle being within the 12-month/12,000 mile workmanship warranty, the dealership is refusing to honor this coverage or offer goodwill assistance. My claim is base
... d on a documented pattern of physical and technical negligence: - Failure to Update Software: The dealership failed to perform the mandatory ECM/TCM software integration (Campaign T1B) during engine swap, which is required to prevent the exact stalling I am now experiencing. - Dismissal of Warning Lights (Code P0456): One day after the engine replacement was “completed,” I returned to the dealership because the Check Engine Light illuminated with Code P0456. This was dismissed by the service provider without a proper diagnostic resolution, despite being a direct indicator of improper vacuum line reconnection during the engine installation. - Mechanical Negligence (Coolant Leak): Post-engine swap, the vehicle developed a coolant leak, which was a direct result of improper reassembly. Additional proof of the lack of due diligence during the repair. The lack of follow-through, combined with the dismissal of a life-safety defect and poor physical workmanship, suggests a total failure in the case management process. First symptom I noticed was the car smell while it was running. I used a device to see what codes of any would pop up on a scan. It came up with codes tying into the fuel system. I then went to go fill up on gas couple days later and when going to start it back up it wouldn’t start. When it did start it would say engine losing power or steering losing power and then just shut off. I then looked

Incidents occurred: (1) February 2026: multiple times, dealer retained vehicle 5 days, found nothing. (2) Early April 2026: multiple times, including one witnessed by a police officer who directed traffic around immobilized vehicle. Dealer kept 3 days, blamed the original Ford-supplied charger. While passing a vehicle on a two lane road, my vehicle lost power and went into limp mode nearly causing a head on accident. The check engine light came on and i immediately went to O'Reilly's Auto parts store and had their OBD scanner read the code. AP0002 code was read. I immediately returned home and the check engine light automatically cleared. I scanned the OBD again and found code P0002 and
... a second code P000277 that was listed as stored and current Both codes refer to an issue with the high pressure fuel pump. I just recently purchased this vehicle with 35170 miles. I had the OBD scanned prior to purchase, there were no codes at that time so we purchased the vehicle. We've since put 1000 miles on the vehicle and without any warning, this issue suddenly happened. I have done some research and Mercedes offered an extended 120000 mile/10 year warranty that addressed this exact issue, however, that warranty is now up due to the age of the vehicle. This issue put us and others at server risk of a major accident do to this issue happening with no warning. I haven't tried to reproduce the scenario that occurred, however the codes remain on the OBD computer.Read more
