Bought 2025 Dodge Ram on 9/9/24. Since then I have had it into the shop 10+ times. There is a check engine light that comes on. Engine runs VERY rough and erratic. Had issues driving away from a stop light, chugging, lack of power. Making a left hand turn is taking my life in my hands! Each time at the dealership, they run the codes. P0300 is the primary. They just say its a known issue. Manu
... facture is working on it. IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR NOW!! They have never actually done anything to the vehicle other than run diagnostics and turn off the light. In fact the last time I picked up the vehicle 9/12/25, they didn't even turn off the light. Tech said, "whats the point?" I have elevated this with the manufacture Case94136984. There reply was that its not dangerous and a fix is coming. Have you ever tried to make a left hand turn and the truck stops and starts chugging??? Even the dealership stated this IS a safety concern. Question of the day: This is a 2025 Dodge Ram. Are they STILL selling these vehicles with this known issue??? If they have fixed it in new sells, then FIX MINE! I have records of each time the light has come on, had it into the dealership, and been turned away because "there's nothing we can do, Dodge wont let us do more"Read more

UNEXPECTED SUDDEN ACCELERATION. 2017 Honda CR-V. Twice while highway driving with autopilot on, system failed to slow it when approaching other vehicles and it sped up instead. I own a 2018 Honda Accord EX-L equipped with the 1.5-liter turbo engine. Over time, the vehicle began showing symptoms of coolant loss without any visible leaks, a sweet odor under the hood, and intermittent white smoke from the exhaust after startup. The engine would sometimes idle roughly and hesitate under acceleration. No external leaks were found by my mechanic. I later learned that these sym
... ptoms are consistent with a possible head-gasket or coolant-intrusion issue affecting this engine type. The problem poses a potential safety risk because coolant can enter the combustion chambers, leading to engine misfire, loss of power, or complete engine failure while driving. The issue has not yet been formally recalled, but I have seen multiple complaints and reports of similar failures in 2018–2022 Accords, Civics, and CR-Vs with the same 1.5-liter turbo engine. A warning light (“check engine”) appeared intermittently, and the temperature gauge fluctuated during normal driving. The problem has been inspected by an independent repair shop, but Honda has not provided a permanent repair or warranty coverage. The issue appears to be consistent with the allegations in recent class action filings regarding head-gasket and coolant-leak defects in Honda 1.5T engines.Read more

While there were no reported incidents, it appears there may be manufacturing defects with this vehicle. The rear seat safety belts are reportedly quite difficult to fasten, as the receptacle is positioned deeply within the seats, sometimes making it impossible to secure the belt. This then triggers an alarm, which can be quite bothersome for the driver. Furthermore, there seems to be an issue wit
... h the fuel gauge, as it may display an inaccurate reading. For instance, upon filling the tank, the meter might show 470 ml, but while still at the gas station, it could indicate 330 ml. Additionally, the reading can fluctuate after a trip. Finally, the air conditioning vent on the driver's side does not seem to be functioning correctly. In one instance, despite a minor road hazard that was not immediately noticed, the left rear tire was completely damaged. Despite multiple attempts to address these issues at the showroom and contacting Subaru headquarters, the problems persist. This statement is to formally document my ongoing and serious concerns regarding my 2022 Volkswagen Taos, which has been in and out of the Pasadena Volkswagen, California, service department for the past three weeks due to a persistent fuel smell and related fuel system issues. Despite the recent maintenance and attempted repairs, the vehicle continues to exhibit these dangerous problems. Mo
... st alarmingly, during a recent incident, the vehicle almost completely shut off while I was driving on the freeway. This is a critical safety hazard, and the safety of my family is paramount. I cannot accept driving a vehicle that poses such a risk of breakdown in traffic. Adding to my unease with the fuel issues is the fact that this specific vehicle has also previously required repair for seized rear brake calipers. Given the numerous reported complaints about the 2022 VW Taos model and the repeated, severe issues my own vehicle has experienced—from brake failure to dangerous fuel system problems—I am profoundly concerned about its reliability and long-term safety. The continuing issues make it difficult, if not impossible, to drive this vehicle without significant anxiety. I am the owner of a 2021 Lincoln Navigator black label, currently subject to Safety Recall 25S75 concerning the low-pressure fuel pump that can cause engine stalling and increased crash risk. ... ince I purchased the car in 2021. While driving on the highway with my 10 year old daughter and her friend home from soccer on 495 last Monday 9/29, I tried to pass a car by switching to the left lane and stepped on the accelerator. The car hesitated, and felt like it was going to cease altogether for a moment, however the accelerator did finally « catch » and I was able to pass the car. I have had this same sensation while pressing my foot on the accelerator though at low speeds on backroads. After the incident last Monday I had the car towed to the Lincoln dealer so they could assess the car. I have been told that the oil was very low. The oil light or check engine light was never on, and it has gone on previously when I’ve been due for an oil change. I’ve been told that the tires also need to be rotated. The dealer who serviced the car said that the car is driving great now and is safe to drive and can be delivered to me or I can pick up. I called Lincoln corporate Friday 10/3/25 and a case was opened and called back on Monday and spoke with a representative who said that there was nothing she could do if the dealer is saying that the car is safe to drive. I don’t feel safe driving the car with this open safety defect unrepaired. A loaner to use while the process for repurchase of the car would be appreciated, but is being denied while they continue the process of good faith eval /consideration of repurchase of the car.Read more

Incident date: Oct 1, 2025
The vehicle is experiencing excessive oil consumption and increasingly severe engine performance symptoms. The oil level drops rapidly between changes, but the loss is not due to external leaks. The engine burns oil internally, causing residue buildup and damage to other components — specifically the intake manifold and catalytic converter, which the dealer has now recommended replacing. These
... issues align with the symptoms addressed in Hyundai Campaign 966 (Engine Monitoring / Knock Sensor Detection System), which is intended to detect early bearing wear and related oil consumption defects. However, the dealership refused to perform the required campaign diagnostics (bearing inspection, KSDS verification, and oil-consumption test) without charging a diagnostic fee. Even though the engine has not yet fully failed or entered limp mode, the excessive oil consumption is already causing secondary damage to emissions and intake components. If left unresolved, this can escalate to engine seizure, catalytic converter overheating, or exhaust-related fires due to unburned oil entering the converter. These are clear safety hazards that can result in loss of power, smoke, or fire while driving. Multiple Hyundai owners have reported identical problems — excessive oil loss, residue damage to emission systems, and dealer refusals to perform Campaign 966 inspections. These patterns indicate a systemic engine defect that leads to downstream component failures, not isolated wear. Replacing the manifold or converter does not correct the root cause, as oil consumption continues after replacement and will likely damage new parts. The dealer’s refusal to perform the manufacturer’s required diagnostics and their attempt to charge for unrelated repairs prevent proper defect identification. This is a serious and ongoing safety issue affecting Hyundai Tucson and other models with the same engine family.Read more

I am writing to express a serious safety concern regarding the Mercedes-Benz GLK 350, particularly related to the fuel pump system under the rear passenger area. It has come to my attention that the fuel pumps in these vehicles emit a strong, unpleasant odor every time the car is refueled. This poses a significant risk to both the driver and passengers. I have personally experienced a similar issu
... e with a 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK350, where the pumps were constructed with a substandard plastic material that, over time, will melt and start dripping from the top of the pump. This degradation of materials significantly compromises the integrity of the system, creating a serious hazard that could, in the worst case, lead to catastrophic outcomes, including fire or explosion. I strongly urge Mercedes-Benz to investigate and address this issue as a matter of priority. The potential consequences of ignoring this matter are severe, and a permanent solution must be found before any further risk is posed to the safety of vehicle occupants. Thank you for your immediate attention to this critical safety concern. I look forward to your prompt response and the implementation of necessary corrective actions. * Recall Campaign Number : [018G, 019G] I. Statement of Complaint This complaint concerns a failure in a critical safety-related component that was previously addressed under a mandatory manufacturer recall, and the subsequent refusal by the authorized dealership to provide a second no-charge repair for the same repeated failure. II. Chronology of Events * Original Recall Repair: Approximately t
... hirteen (13) months ago, 8/30/2024 the vehicle was taken to Anaheim Hyundai to address a safety recall concerning the oil feed pipe. The prescribed remedy, a replacement of the oil feed pipe, was completed at no cost under the recall campaign. * Second Failure (Current Event): On or about 10/6/2025, while the vehicle’s engine was running, I observed smoke rising from the engine compartment. The vehicle was immediately taken to a local independent mechanic who diagnosed the issue as a burst oil feed pipe—the identical component subject to the prior recall. * Attempted Repair at Anaheim Hyundai (Denial): The vehicle was then towed back to Anaheim Hyundai. The service department acknowledged that the component failure was the same issue addressed in the previous recall. However, the dealership has now refused to perform the repair under the recall process, citing a specific 12-month policy set by Hyundai Motor America regarding the warranty on recall remedies, which has now expired. III. Request for Intervention The failure of the previously installed recall remedy (the oil feed pipe) exposes the vehicle to the original safety risk, including potential engine failure and fire hazards, and the manufacturer’s refusal to re-remedy the defect effectively negates the purpose of the mandatory recall. I request that NHTSA investigate this matter and compel Hyundai Motor America to: * Honor the original safety recall and provide a permanent, effective remedy at no charge to the consumer. * Clarify the consumer's right regarding the warranty on recall remedies, fails after installRead more

Traffic slowed and had to stop to move around my truck while I was attempting to get the truck to respond. The truck responded after about 2 minutes of being stalled. We brought the truck into our local ford dealership again (had brought it in before for this same issue described below), they kept it for about a week to try to reproduce the issue again however were not successful again. The dealer said that the truck did not throw any codes when the stall happened and there were no warning lights or messages in the vehicle at the moment that it happened to me. I was driving and the van suddenly lost all propulsion. Brakes and steering and dash lights functioned, but there was a red turtle icon and error message about a system failure. The accelerator pedal did nothing at all. I was able to coast off the side of the road to a place to pull over, but that could have been a terrible accident if I lost power like that on I-95 or any other major highway.
... My husband came and we switch cars (kids, car seats, etc) and he was able to get the van to start after half an hour. It had check engine lights on for things, but the dealer said to bring it in because it was drivable again. Despite brining it in as told, with check engine lights on that they saw, they said they could not reproduce it and couldn't find codes for the check engine light (even though I pulled them from my own OBD2 diagnostic plug tool and took photos of the codes) and eventually said I have to take the car back, despite no cause or resolution. These cars have known faulty battery issues and a large number have been replaced already, but Chrysler isn't authorizing dealers to do that unless they can reliably reproduce the failure. Very frustrating to see Chrysler not go the route of other manufacturers who sourced their batteries from the same plant and ended up proactively replacing them for consumers. While Chrysler's many recalls for the hybrid battery system software have probably made it detect faults earlier to try to prevent fires, they are still known to happen, but now in addition to a fire risk, we also have a car that has a much higher chance of just losing power while driving due to over sensitive battery monitoring, or a plain old faulty battery that just isn't faulty 'enough' for Chrysler to authorize a replacement. So frustrating and dangerous.Read more

Summary of Issue: I am the owner of a Toyota Mirai that suffered a sudden loss of power due to contaminated hydrogen fuel. The incident rendered the vehicle undrivable and raised serious safety concerns, as loss of propulsion in a fuel-cell vehicle can occur without warning while in motion. The vehicle was taken to Toyota of [XXX] for diagnosis and repair, where Toyota confirmed the presence of c
... ontaminated fuel. Toyota’s Stance: According to Toyota, the contamination issue was addressed by flushing the contaminated hydrogen from the system and refueling the vehicle. Toyota has stated that this process has restored power and that the company does not accept responsibility for any damage caused by the contamination. They have not disclosed any data on the type or level of contamination found, nor have they provided a written service report detailing inspection results or long-term corrective actions. Owner Concern: Independent research and fuel-cell engineering references indicate that contaminants such as sulfur compounds, carbon monoxide, or heavy metals can permanently degrade or “poison” the fuel-cell stack. Flushing alone cannot reverse such chemical or structural damage. As a result, there is a risk of future performance loss or total stack failure. Without transparency from Toyota regarding contaminant analysis or verification of system integrity, I cannot consider this vehicle safe or reliable to drive. Request for Resolution: I am requesting that Toyota: Provide complete written documentation of the contaminant analysis and testing performed on my vehicle. Disclose the long-term plan for ensuring the fuel-cell stack and related components have not been compromised. Offer either a full buyback/repurchase under applicable consumer protection laws or a complete fuel-cell stack replacement verified by engineering inspection. The bike is prone to stalling as you come to a stop and are pulling in the clutch. It can happen without warning. There is also an issue with the side stand. It stacks out pretty far and if your boot touches it can kill power delivery leading to a sudden loss of power.

In September I started to notice a strong fuel odor coming from my 2013 Ford Explorer. I had the exterior of the vehicle cleaned thoroughly to ensure no gasoline was spilled on the vehicle while refuelling. The smell did go away temporarily, until I refuelled the vehicle. The odor has returned, and will not go away. On 10/6/2025 I took my vehicle to a local mechanic that works on my vehicles. A
... visual inspection was performed and they informed me that there is a leak and it appears to be coming from the top of the tank or an area above the tank. It is hard to identify the exact source without lowering the tank. They mechanic also informed me that Ford has a safety recall issue for something similar, 13S04. I checked with Ford and while there is a recall for the same model and year of my vehicle, my 2013 Explorer is not a part of the recall. I have contacted a local Ford Service Center and am waiting for a response from them.Read more

This is related to recall #25V-481. A Mercedes Benz dealer (Mercedes Benz of Loveland) is refusing to complete the recall fix issued to my vehicle, even though I have the safety notice letter with my VIN. In conditions where the charge on the house batteries is low, the secondary alternator activates while the engine may be in a low idle state which can cause the engine to stall. The gas pedal c

Car has 22,000 miles and has a bad fuel pump causing multiple cylinder misfire and loss of power. There was a recall on others in the same year but not this one giving the year and millage and the fact that it's the same issue as the recalled other units logically it should have been part of the recall, and the recall needs to be broadened to include these batches of fuel pumps as well. as is its

To start, have requested the vehicle paperwork many times and the dealership has failed to give me a copy. The real problem started when i took my EV to get checked as the battery was not lasting long, they said it was normal, took it again as it stopped charging on type 1 and 2 chargers, they now said it was the Onboard charging module. Also had to take the vehicle for a recall a few months ago

So my engine failed at 70K. Nissan replaced it with a remanufactured engine the is failing faster than the original engine. Currently at 112K, I have replaced the catalytic converter, muffler, Egr sensor twice, mass airflow sensor and oil changes at 3K just to have the vehicle in the shop for 6-7 months in 2025 alone. Apparently the remedy won't be out until late in Q4 of 2025. No rental or loaner assistance was offered at all. The vehicle has a deep knocking and won't accelerate properly to use roads and interstate driving safely. The latest symptom is low oil pressure and stalling. Completly unsafe car and ridiculous amount of time getting repaired. All of this has been since October 31st of 2024.Read more

The Hybrid System had a failure - flashed on the screen - and then shut off/ could not use acceleration pedal. This notification had appeared twice before, taken to the dealer, and told it was just a glitch. My wife was on the interstate when she lost he ability to accelerate. We had it towed to the original dealership of purchase. The Jeep is sitting at the dealership now.
