The headlights somehow gets condensation/moisture inside of them and when this happens it makes the turning signal faulty and not work properly. A notification pops up in the vehicle that says “check turn signal” and the turing signal does not flash properly. This has happened to my vehicle and I am part of a Facebook group and many of us G70 owners are having the same issue. The dealerships a
... re claiming something cracked the headlights, letting moisture in. But the headlights are not cracked at all and there are an abundant amount of G70 owners having the exact same issue that is very expensive to fix. Some are even paying to get it fixed and still having the same issue after. This should be recalled to make it right and safe for drivers.Read more

This complaint involves a 2024 Ram 3500 with an unresolved electrical system issue associated with the rear backup camera and related wiring. The vehicle initially presented with a malfunctioning backup camera, including unclear or distorted image quality, which affects rear visibility and safe operation while reversing. The vehicle was taken to authorized dealerships for repair on multiple occas
... ions. During the course of these repair attempts, the wiring associated with the system was damaged, resulting in an ongoing electrical system issue that has not been resolved. The vehicle has now been out of service for approximately 71 days. Most recently, the authorized dealership confirmed that the required parts to complete the repair are unavailable, there is no estimated timeline for parts availability, and the repair cannot be completed at this time. As a result, there is currently no repair plan in place. This situation raises safety concerns due to the loss of a critical safety feature (rear visibility via the backup camera) and the presence of unresolved electrical system damage. Damaged or compromised wiring may create the potential for electrical malfunction, system instability, or other hazards if the vehicle were to be operated. The inability to repair the vehicle, combined with the lack of available parts and absence of any repair timeline, raises concerns about the overall safety and reliability of the vehicle. The vehicle remains at the dealership and is available for inspection.Read more

There was no response from the controller and no brakes on the trailer functioned. Within about 3-4 m
... inutes of the trailer brake issue, I also lost all trailer lights on the trailer. When this happened, I decided to pull over in a safe area and attempt to check the trailer connections. All trailer connections were securely installed, free from any damage, and had functioned flawlessly for days prior. I was forced to continue to my destination without trailer brakes or trailer lights despite being stuck in a substantially strong thunderstorm with heavy rain and low visibility. When I reached my destination, I called my selling dealership to report the issue. I was told by the service advisor that they had "hundreds" of trucks on a wait list and that Ram was only sending them one repair part per week. He also stated that they hadn't recently received any parts and had no idea when more would become available. Their only suggestion was to "call and complain" to corporate, and that there was nothing more they could do. This incident with truck occurred on March 20th 2026. I had already called the dealership on March 6th after discovering (via NHTSA site) that my truck had been flagged for the trailer brake control recall. The dealership gave me the same response previously. "We have hundreds of trucks but no parts, call back in four weeks". At that point, I had not received any official documentation of a trailer brake control module recall from Ram. I did not receive my official letter from Ram until March 21st, the day after my incident.Read more

The vehicle experienced a major electrical system malfunction involving multiple critical components. The issue began with the Volvo On Call system light remaining illuminated continuously, which suggested a possible communication or battery-related fault. Shortly after, additional systems failed, including the turn signal system, windshield wipers, and high beam headlights. These components are c
... urrently non-functional and can be made available for inspection upon request. The failure significantly impacted vehicle safety. The loss of turn signals made it impossible to properly indicate lane changes or turns to other drivers, increasing the risk of collisions. The failure of the windshield wipers created a serious hazard in adverse weather conditions, reducing visibility. Additionally, the loss of high beam headlights limited nighttime driving visibility. While daytime running lights and hazard lights remain functional, they are not sufficient substitutes for the failed systems. The problem has been consistent and reproducible. Each time the vehicle is operated, the same warning messages appear, including “Turn Indicator System Malfunction” and “Wiper Failure – Service Required,” and the affected systems do not respond. At this time, the issue has not yet been formally confirmed by a dealer or independent service center, but diagnostics codes (including communication-related fault codes) have been observed. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer, law enforcement, or insurance representatives. However, based on the symptoms, the issue appears to involve a failure in the vehicle’s central electronic or communication control systems. Prior to the complete failure, warning signs were present. The Volvo On Call light remained on persistently, indicating a potential underlying electrical or module communication issue. This warning appeared before the loss of the turn signals, wipers, and high beams, suggesting a progressive system failure.Read more

I am reporting a severe and hazardous safety defect in my 2021 Acura ILX involving water intrusion into the headlight assembly, resulting in electrical failure of critical lighting and signaling components. Due to an apparent manufacturing defect in the headlight sealing, moisture is entering the housing and is visibly present as condensation, directly causing system malfunction. This defect lead
... s to intermittent and unpredictable failure of the turn signal (blinker), including failure to activate and spontaneous activation without driver input. As a result, surrounding drivers cannot accurately determine my intended movements, significantly increasing the risk of a collision. Additionally, the headlight intermittently dims or shuts off at night, creating dangerously reduced visibility and unsafe driving conditions. The defect also compromises essential driver-assist safety systems, including blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning, which rely on consistent visibility and signaling. When these systems are impaired, the risk of unsafe lane changes and crashes is substantially elevated. The issue is ongoing, reproducible, and worsens with normal environmental exposure such as rain or humidity. There were no prior warnings. The failure began with visible condensation and has progressed into repeated electrical malfunction affecting multiple safety-related systems. This is a failure of federally required safety equipment, not a cosmetic issue. Loss of lighting, signaling, and safety system reliability presents a clear and unacceptable risk of crash, injury, or fatality. This defect does not appear isolated and may indicate a systemic manufacturing or design failure. Immediate investigation is necessary, and recall action is warranted to prevent further harm to drivers and the public.Read more

am reporting a serious safety defect in my 2021 Acura ILX involving the front headlight assembly. Water is entering the headlight housing due to what appears to be a manufacturer sealing defect, with visible condensation inside. This is causing electrical malfunction, including intermittent failure of the turn signal (blinker) and inconsistent headlight operation. The components are available for
... inspection upon request. This defect creates a significant safety hazard. The turn signal will fail to activate or activate randomly, preventing other drivers from knowing when I am changing lanes and increasing the risk of collisions. The headlight also intermittently dims or shuts off at night, reducing visibility and creating dangerous driving conditions. This issue also affects driver-assist safety systems, including blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning, which rely on proper signaling and visibility. When the lighting system malfunctions, these systems are less effective, increasing the risk of unsafe lane changes. The problem is ongoing and reproducible, especially after exposure to moisture. The malfunction occurs intermittently but frequently enough to make the vehicle unsafe. The vehicle has not yet been formally inspected, but inspection is being pursued. There were no warning lights prior to failure. The first symptom was condensation inside the headlight, followed by increasing failure of the blinker and headlight. This does not appear to be an isolated issue and may indicate a broader manufacturing defect. Because this directly impacts visibility and signaling, it is a critical safety concern. This issue should be urgently investigated for a recall to prevent accidents, injuries, or fatalities.Read more

What component or system failed or malfunctioned? The LED Driver Module and Headlamp Control Module (HCM) software. Specifically, the C-Clamp Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) / Parking Lamps have failed to illuminate or are flickering. The vehicle is available for inspection. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The failure of the parking lamps reduces the vehicle’s visibility to
... other drivers, especially during dusk, dawn, or inclement weather. This creates a "dark car" profile that increases the risk of a crash, as other motorists may not be able to discern the width or position of my truck on the road. This is a direct violation of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed? Yes, the malfunction is consistent and has been observed during normal operation. A Ford dealership has been contacted; however, they refused to perform a no-cost repair or diagnostic because my specific VIN has not yet been added to Recall 23C36, despite the vehicle exhibiting the exact symptoms described in that safety recall. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by others? No, it has only been inspected by myself and described to a Ford service advisor. (If you took it in and they saw it, change this to: "The dealer service advisor visually confirmed the failure but declined a warranty repair.") Were there any warning lamps or symptoms prior to failure? No warning lamps or messages appeared on the instrument cluster or FordPass app. The failure of the LED C-clamp was the first and only symptom. This occurred on 03/06/2026 when I bought the truck and did not know the C-clamp DRL was not working.Read more

Hello, My 2018 Acura MDX has moisture and water inside the inner tailgate (trunk) tail light assembly, which caused the light to stop working. I understand there is a recall affecting some 2014–2020 Acura MDX vehicles related to moisture entering the tailgate light assembly, and my vehicle appears to have the same issue. Recall link: [XXX] Last week I visited the Acura dealership(Acura Colum
... bus) in Dublin, OH for a fuel pump recall service. During that visit, the technician also noticed the water inside the inner tail light but quoted about $750 for the repair. Although my VIN does not show this recall, my vehicle is experiencing the same problem described. Could you please review and advise if this may qualify for recall coverage or goodwill assistance? Thank you. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

My headlights are not putting out very well at all. I have to drive on high beams at night to be able to see which I’m sure is disrupting others driving but when I have my lights on low beams it’s almost like my lights are off or like fog lights. It’s super dangerous. This is been going on for months and I have to avoid driving at night all the time because it’s so bad.
