Air vents are broken in a month after delivery. Fisker ignored all the service calls, opened tickets for parts replacement and have done nothing to deliver the parts or fix the issue. I am submitting this complaint because my 2023 Fisker Ocean One has not received any of the six NHTSA-mandated recalls, and with Fisker Inc. now bankrupt and unreachable, there is no clear path to getting these critical safety repairs completed. My wife drives this vehicle daily for work, covering approximately 100–150 miles per day, and the ongoing safety concerns pose a serious risk to her and
... others on the road. The vehicle has multiple serious safety issues that remain unaddressed due to the lack of manufacturer support: Safety features are non-functional – Several critical safety systems are either malfunctioning or have stopped working entirely. NFC Card Reader Failure – The NFC card reader on the door handle has stopped working, making entry into the vehicle unreliable. Vehicle Rolling Over Bumps – The car exhibits an uncontrolled rolling movement when driving over bumps, which creates an unpredictable driving experience and a potential loss of control. Interior Lighting Malfunctions – Various interior lights turn on randomly without user input, which may indicate electrical issues. Given Fisker’s bankruptcy, I am unable to schedule recall repairs, and no official service network exists to address these safety-critical issues. The recalls mandated by the NHTSA must be performed, yet there is no viable path for owners to ensure compliance. This situation presents an urgent safety hazard, and I am requesting immediate guidance on how these safety recalls can be fulfilled to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and safe for daily use.Read more

Fisker Inc has gone out of business. A mandatory recall has been issued and the bankruptcy court has assigned a trustee to ensure vehicles are updated to version 2.2 to address safety recall issues. The update to 2.2 has been extremely unpredictable and the trustee has not been able to complete this recall. Of the cars that were updated, like mine, almost immediately the estimated range has been d
... rastically reduced. The cars were marketed as getting up to 360 miles on 100% charge. Since the recall update, they now get somewhere around 220 miles on a 100% charge. That’s more than 100 miles lost. I had a technician analyze it with approved Fisker software, and he found that the rear motor is now throwing “flux error codes” and not functioning properly. This is causing an electrical issue draining the batteries much quicker than they should be. I spent $200 for diagnostic work and there is no fix at the moment however the trustee is still responsible for rolling out this buggy software and possibly damaging more cars with each remote installation.Read more

No open door would register the lights to come on. I have done exactly what they say to do in the message but still, I am getting this same message and no interior lights. I plugged in a code reader into the truck to test the battery and it showed that it had an abnormal battery function. There is no recall for my truck for this issue, but there are for other vehicles. My truck needs to be included in this recall so I can have working interior lights, and a normal-functioning battery. This has been an on-going issue for roughly 4 months. Factory installed headlights are dangerous as the low beam has a black line approximately halfway in the field of vision. Subaru states this is to keep from blinding oncoming vehicles. Driving in town not too bad, however in rural mountain areas with winding roads the headlights do not provide necessary lighting causing driving to be extremely dangerous. Low beams should not blind oncoming traffic
... . Dealer states these "projection" headlights cannot be replaced with traditional headlights. Complaint filed with Subaru who inform they can't take any action; however state in voice mail that "although not recommended" after market headlights could be installed when available. Dealer has previously informed that installation of standard headlights may void warranty. Mechanics consulted recommend driving with high beams, oncoming traffic will see why when low beams activated. Another recommendation has been to always drive with fog lights on and possibly install LED lamps in fog lights, to add additional brightness. This type of headlights should be investigated to prevent unnecessary accidents. (Another horrible idea with the Subaru headlights is that they "Swing" as the car goes around curves, this feature can be turned off though.)Read more

2012 Mazda3i 5dr hatchback. Persistent issue with headlights, both low beam and high beam, as well as interior lighting and other lighting. Headlights sometimes flicker when vehicle is decelerating and no brake pedal is applied, most notable when vehicle is t
... raveling downhill. Further, the luminosity (brightness) of the headlights visibly dims, but does not flash, when the vehicle is parked and the brake pedal is applied. A high volume of others report the same issue, including documented complaints. These vehicles are unsafe, defective as designed, and do not conform to FMVSS No. 108. NHTSA must investigate further. Many other owners are not aware of the cause of the issue and attempt to fix it by replacing headlights, alternator, etc. Mazda was aware of issue prior to July 2013, when it issued TSB 01-019/13. This document states, "Some vehicles may exhibit the headlights flickering when the vehicle is decelerating (by applying the brakes) with the headlights on. This concern is caused by inadequate alternator output (controlled by the PCM) when the battery is under a heavy load. To correct the problem, the control logic of the PCM has been changed." This appears to be at best a temporary fix. Bommarito Mazda in Missouri required payment of $199.88 to "diagnose" this problem and address it in the manner prescribed in TSB 01-019/13. This service was not covered under warranty. Service Manager M.D. claimed to have never heard of this issue before and that it would need to be diagnosed, despite being informed by the owner of the precise issue, that others reported experiencing the same issue, and that others reported the issue was addressed by reprogramming the PCM. Immediately following this service, the headlights continued to visibly dim when the vehicle is parked and the brake pedal applied.Read more

The two low-beam headlights have been becoming dimmer slowly over time, causing them to be less effective. I have replaced the headlamps with different types and brands several times, with no noticeable change. This problem results in reduced visibility, a major safety issue when driving at night in poorly lit conditions, and away from urbanized areas. Out of an abundance of caution, we are curren
... tly limiting our night travel while we consider our options. I understand that the issue relates to the materials used at the back of the reflector, which degrade prematurely, causing any type of headlamp to become less effective over time, and operating below the intended minimum distance range. Our Honda/Acura dealer is aware of the problem, but their only solutions are to replace both headlight units, at my own expense, or sell the car. Replacing the two headlight units would cost $1,500 in parts alone, plus labor and taxes. Given that this problem highly increases the possibility of a crash when driving at night, Acura should be required by the NHTSA to issue a recall to replace both headlights at no charge.Read more

If it wasn't a feature, then I wouldn't have those options in my settings. I also discovered something interesting about this. At night, after turning my truck off - but without pressing the key fob, LOCK button, if I press the key fob UNLOCK button, the headlights and taillights come on (as per the featured settings) like they are supposed to do. However, if I press the key fob LOCK button first (1 or 2 presses - it doesn't matter), when I press the key fob UNLOCK button, the headlights and taillights do not turn on (as per the featured settings) like they are supposed to. Again, I believe this is a software issue, but could be related to the headlight module that I am seeing being reported online as well.Read more
