My car was scheduled the first week of the updates. The car would not update. Afterward, the batter drain was very noticeable. Now there is no internet service for the car... not from Fisker and while I can verify it connects to my home wifi and mobile phone hotspot, it will not allow data to the car. I took this to a dealer to have the water pump replaced, the car updated, the 12v batter r
... eplaced, the t-box reset and the door handle inserts replaced. They were unable to repair the drivers door handle (the LED lights actually generate smoke) and I cannot use the NFC to enter the car. Additionally, one day while charging the vehicle, all of the door handles retracted when I closed the door and the key was in the car. Thankfully the rear hatch was not locked because my DOG WAS INSIDE! This car is dangerous and no one is helping!Read more

Front left and right marker lights show up as defective on the dashboard, intermittently, but the lights are working. Have seen on different forums that this is not uncommon with this vehicle. Many complaints. Tried working with Audi/USA and have followed their advice with needing a dealership assessments. I have done this on two occasions, but they said that they will not be responsible, but th
... at the dealership will offer a labor discount of 10%. These quotes are over $7000 to replace the lights and modules (that are working), if you don’t want to keep listening to the dinging warning bells. And it forces the customer to fix it because you will never be able to sell the car even though the lights are working. Think at least Audi should pay for the parts on all complaints. There is such a term as “good will” and they should broaden the recall on this item. My vehicle had a recall on this that the dealership repaired before I even purchased the vehicle which was NEW. Audi informed them when it was on the lot, but they say it was for the same thing but they just had to do an update on it? How did they know that when the car only had maybe 10 miles on it when we took delivery. Hopefully, someone in your department has some clout and back Audi up against the wall and take responsibility. Description of Incident(s) On March 5, 2025, I discovered that my 2023 Fisker Ocean had undergone an unauthorized over-the-air (OTA) software update to version 2.2.2 without my knowledge or consent. I received no prior notification from Fisker or American Leasing, the current entity managing Fisker vehicles following the company’s bankruptcy in 2024. Additionally, I have no access to the vehicle
... ’s cloud system or update logs to understand what changes were implemented, leaving me unable to assess the scope or purpose of the update. Following this update, I experienced two significant safety-related issues with my vehicle, detailed below. Driver’s Door Handle Overheating After the 2.2.2 update, the driver’s side door handle began exhibiting extreme overheating, reaching temperatures exceeding 130°F as measured with a non-contact infrared thermometer. This poses a serious burn hazard and makes the handle unsafe to touch for entry or exit. The issue appears to be electrical in nature, potentially related to a malfunction in the door handle actuator or power management system altered by the software update. The handle remains excessively hot even when the vehicle is powered off, suggesting a persistent fault. This defect compromises safe access to the vehicle and presents a risk of injury. Rearview Mirror Fan Constantly Running Since the update, the fan associated with the vehicle’s digital rearview mirror now runs continuously, regardless of whether the mirror is in use or the vehicle’s thermal conditions warrant cooling. This creates unnecessary noise, potential wear on the fan component, and a possible drain on the vehicle’s battery. While the digital mirror functionality remains operational, the constant fan operation suggests a software glitch affecting thermal regulation or sensor feedback loops, likely introduced by the 2.2.2 update. This issue, while not immediately hazardous, indicates broader concerns with the stability of the vehicle’s software systems post-Read more

I own a 2022 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition and have recently noticed a persistent noise coming from the left headlight. The noise resembles a fan or vibrating sound. Coincidentally, this issue started only a month after I bought out the vehicle following the lease expiration. Component/System Failure and Inspection: The issue appears to be caused by a malfunctioning auto-leveling or adaptive headligh
... t motor. The component is still installed in the vehicle and can be inspected upon request by a dealer or manufacturer. Safety Risks: While this issue has not yet caused immediate driving hazards, a malfunctioning headlight system could pose a safety risk if the auto-leveling function fails, leading to improper headlight beam alignment. This could impact nighttime visibility or cause glare for other drivers, increasing the risk of accidents. Reproduction and Confirmation: The problem has not yet been confirmed by a dealer or independent service center in my case, but many other customers have reported similar issues, some of whom have had the component replaced under warranty. Inspection Status: As of now, the vehicle has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or other parties. Warning Signs or Symptoms Prior to Failure: No warning lamps, messages, or dashboard alerts appeared before the noise started. The issue began suddenly and has been persistent ever since. I have a video, but it cannot be uploaded in this report.Read more

We have been experiencing multiple electrical and mechanical issues with our brand new 2025 Lincoln Aviator since we bought it approximately 4 months ago. We have taken it to the dealership two or three times, but despite their claims that the issue has been fixed, the problem recurs within a week or two from p
... icking the car up from the dealer. There was a time when the car has shut off while stopped at a traffic light, and when the light turns green, it won’t restart. In some cases, it has taken anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours before the car would finally start again. Additionally, various warning signals appear on the dash cluster, including alerts about the emergency brakes and collision warning system not functioning properly. Additionally, we experienced issues where the car doors won't open right away due to this mechanical issue. This is a serious safety hazard, as the car shutting off unexpectedly in traffic puts us at significant risk. It is especially concerning because this is our family vehicle, and we frequently travel with two infants in car seats and our elderly parents. Despite multiple visits to the dealership, the issue persists. We even reached out to the parent company, Lincoln/Ford, and they essentially told us that there is nothing they can do, this is a "known issue with the 2025 Lincoln Aviator". After researching online, we found that other 2025 Lincoln Aviator owners have reported similar electrical and mechanical problems. We are extremely concerned for our safety and fear that this issue could lead to a serious accident. However, this is our only vehicle, leaving us with no alternative but to continue driving it despite the risks. Please note, as I type this message, we have an appointment this week to drop the car off again for service.Read more
