I have taken my 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L to the dealership twice for a known recall 12B/NHTSA 24V-130 and issue with the automatic high beam headlights not working properly. I am now within 500 miles of my factory warranty expiring, and the dealership is no longer responding to my ca

This issue may be related to a known recall or software defect reported for failure to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108 – Lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment., and is a driver safety concern at night or in low-light conditions. I am also reporting this issue to Jeep/Chrysler customer care and opened a case. I believe this should be further investigated as either a widespread unresolved recall issue or a recall repair failure that is not being properly corrected by authorized service centers.Read more

⸻ Title: Loss of Power While Driving on Freeway – Dangerous Malfunction Similar to Recall 23V-116 Complaint Description: I am reporting a serious and dangerous malfunction with my 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon EcoDiesel. While driving on a high-speed freeway (70–80 MPH), all warning lights on the dashboard illuminated—including the check engine light—and the vehicle suddenly went into li
... mp mode, resulting in a loss of power. This occurred in fast-moving traffic, putting me at immediate risk of a crash. This started happening again every time I got on the freeway for 10 minutes. I’ve owned this Jeep for about a year, have never taken it off-road, and have kept it properly maintained. All electrical components, fuses, and systems have been inspected, and no clear cause has been found. The problem persists and is clearly not due to driver use or negligence. This issue strongly resembles Recall Number 23V-116, which states that affected vehicles may experience a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. That recall was for 2021 Jeep Wrangler vehicles, the same model and year as mine. However, my VIN was not included, despite the fact that I’m experiencing the exact same symptoms described in the recall notice: “A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.” This issue began occurring shortly after that recall was issued, and it has happened multiple times, mostly during highway driving—making the vehicle extremely unsafe. I believe my vehicle should have been included in Recall 23V-116, as this is clearly a safety-related defect involving the powertrain or control module software. This is an urgent safety issue, and I respectfully request that NHTSA investigate why this VIN was excluded from the recall and consider expanding the recall to cover additional affected vehicles before someone gets seriously injured or worse. I also had a wire under the car catch fire and the auto body shop said that is why my standing lights would not work in the rear but my brake lights wo
... uld work. It’s very dangerous that the electrical failure caused a fire to start under the car. Then, I ran into another issue just this week where the vehicle has a cracked AC condenser and is slowly losing coolant. It’s a manufacturing issue because all of them seem to crack and we’re not made with a proper seal. Another electrical issue I have is when I turn the wheel all the way to the left or right, even when the key is in and engine is on, the engine will shut off. The car completely shuts off and then I have to turn the key to the off position and then it will turn right back on. The steering wheel is also losing power steering and gets very tight when I have to make a turn. The fuses for my radio are blown and when you put new ones in, it blows immediately and doesn’t turn on. I have MANY issues with this vehicle and it’s obviously a manufacturer issue. This is not ok for a vehicle to all around have such horrible electrical issues. I have had issues driving over a pothole and I lose my radio screen or my whole dash screen and then the dealer and auto body shops say the electrical work is too in depth for them.Read more

It has a major water leak—flooding the interior through the lights, vents, and floor—yet Nissan won’t cover it under warranty and State Farm denied my comprehensive claim. Additionally, regardless of any debris build-up, the size of the water lines are inadequate to hold large volumes of water at a given time. My lights, electrical panel, air bags, and electrical ports have all been impacted by this intrusion and now I'm left with a useless, unsafe, and unpredictable vehicle that has a total of 32,000 miles.
